took our dog here due to the after hours fact. they will do nothing unless their overinflated prices are paid upfront. we were quoted at $750 to administer fluids. after talking to the vet he said it would be two days stay and after that we would re-evaluate. we agreed and paid the $750, that was friday night. Saturday morning a different lady called and said that the new vet changed the treatment and we were now out of money. Talked to the vet and he said the first vet didnt know what he was talking about and that at the start of his shift he changed course of treatment. we explained that we wanted to make it through the weekend and we would get her to our vet. He then said it would be another $750. Trying not to lose my cool we informed them we would be right there to get her. After arriving and waiting 45 minutes for her to be released, we then knew why the long wait. they had given her so much sedation she couldnt even walk. Now really on the edge that sweet little girl turned in to mega c*nt. We needed to pay another $100 before we could leave. Insisted on speaking with vet and he refused, smart move on his part. She called the owners to see if they would waive the charge because of the two vets not agreeing and now we are leaving. They said to bad and we have to pay. We were warned before going here and did it anyway. Prices are about 4X regular vet prices. End result we got back to our vet and she finished treatment and had to put her down in less than a week. The place was dirty and they would not let us back with her, instead they insisted we call to check up on her. My wife did call about 3 -4 times thoughout the night. They gave us info on a dog that wasnt even ours. That was our experience. Make the drive to Sanford or Altamonte Much better care and staff are nicer, prices are cheaper. I have not been there but everyone said to make the drive, it is worth it.

Something needs to change. I had to bring my 14 year old Lab in last night. He was suffering and needed to be put down. This was a scary time for him and a very sad time for me. I walked in and the dog was taken from me. I tried to follow him and was forced out of the restricted area. Now, there is a scared and dying dog in a cold hospital environment and an owner very upset that he cannot be with his canine friend. The girl at the front desk was very lippy when I told her that I dont like what is happening and want the dog back, to figure out an alternative. At the same time, another associate at the hospital threatened to call animal control if I left with the dog that I just brought in 3 minutes earlier. These people deal with sick and scared animals every day. They have to be better communicators. If you can help it, bring your pet to their normal vet. You do not want to deal with these people. Theyll treat you like a policy, not a person. And, they have no issue separating you from your scared and dying animal, who only wants your comfort through their last moments of life. Avoid this business if you can. I wish I had that option.

Its sickening that all people care about is money. i have taken my dog here 3 times for the same reason and have spent over 2400 dollars in doing so. And both times they just did the same thing and charge extreme prices for little help. It seems all they try to do is rack up as much money from your dying dog as they can without actually trying to help them. If my dog is having seizures and your going to cost me over 2400 dollars to try to save him, you better damn well do everything you can to find out whats wrong. not just do blood tests and say nothings wrong with him and give him some valium and send him on his way so i can watch him suffer at home 2 hours later when hes having seizures again, also after paying another 750 dollars for them to do nothing. maybe if people cared and had a heart these days there would be less uneeded suffering in this world. im sure they can afford to help people more in need and give them better deals. i understand everyone needs money but charging 4x more than a vet is ridiculous. if your going to help animals do everything you can to help them, not take peoples money and give them false hope

Dr. rudinski is one of the most unprofessional vets I have yet to meet. I have been there numerous times with my animals and all veternarians have been wonderful. I was greeted with.,,, why didnt you take your dog to daytime vet you could have saved money.... well because I felt this wasnt an issue until now and yes I know you charge more but I will pay more because I HAVE THE MONEY! so please help my dog. I paid the money the technicians were wonderful.....thank you Jennifer, MaryAnn, and Amanda. Please pass on to your Dr. that if I have the money for the procedure I dont need a lecture to go see my daytime vet. thank you

The absolute worst place you could take your pet. Front desk was extremely rude to my mother. Definitely need to clean house (personnel wise). If you run an operation with animals, you really need to hire people who really care about animals. Most of the people here seem to only care about getting their money up front before even tending to a sick or dying animal. No compassion. Choose another profession if you dont care about animals and their owners. There was one nice woman vet who seemed to care about our animals. That was it. I will NEVER go back there and I would steer everyone away from this place.

Our dog was transferrred here from the clinic in Holly Hill and I have never had a better experience with a vet clinic. The staff was very caring and honest and provided our dog Daisy with the care she and every dog deserves. Unfortunately our 11 year old baby passed away that morning, but my last memory is of her being surrounded by the staff in warming blankets and love. Thank you Dr. Evers and staff for your warm care and understanding our feelings during this horrible time.

The people here couldnt care less about your animal. I dont even know the guys name because he never bothered to introduce himself. They never gave me a chance to ask any questions. They just gave me a quick diagnostic and 150 dollars later I was out the door even more confused then I was to begin with. If at all possible schedule with a regular vet. The only good thing is they are open at odd hours. Try not to waste your time and money

Ive taken dogs here on two occasions. Everything turned out fine both times. Keep in mind, this is a small, not well-funded emergency clinic, and to compare it to a normal vets office is a bit unfair. The facilities arent anything to write home about. They charge more than a normal vet, but for an after-hours office, its at least fair. The professionalism can be a little lax, but in an emergency, Im just glad theyre around.
