Hi - I like Park Dental EP and have been going there for years. Had to cover my daughters appt in Chaska so as not to get a no-show. Work following was the most painful dental experience I ever had. Dr. was not attentive to pain & in fact did not do what I have had every other dentist do, put on the topical numbing, wait a bit, and then put in the Novacaine, again wait for it to work. He started drilling right away. He & the hygenist were so busy chit-chatting that they must not have seen all the body language that I was in pain. When I went back a week later because my pulp was exposed & I was in extreme pain, the Dr. gave me a lecture about not speaking up if I was in pain. Ok, Ill accept some fault, but because I couldnt transfer my file back to EP while I had work in progress, I had to go back there to have a crown permanetly seated. They said no Novacaine is needed, this appt is no big deal, so ok fine. The hygeniest put me in extreme pain using the "pliers" to get out the temporary. I groaned when she did so & when she had her hands out of my mouth I told her that was more painful that the root canal I had the very same day (because my pulp was exposed on the previous visit). She started to lecture me about not telling her I was in pain. I asked her if she wasnt tipped off by my groan? She wanted to continue to lecture me, but I told her I just wanted to get the appointment over with. I will not go to this dentist anymore. They are not considerate of a patients pain & BLAME the patient for being in pain. I am changing my kids dentists (who have good teeth & thankfully have never been put in such pain) and my grandson, who I recently made an appt for.

On 2/3/17 my wife woke up with a toothache. At 8am she called to try and get a same day appointment. The only option was at 8:20 and it was a half hour drive for her. The only other option given was an appointment on the following Monday which she agreed to. Around 3pm that day the pain was worsening. She called back to see if there was anything they could do before the weekend. There answer was no, and to go to the ER or urgent care or see about another Park dental that would be open on Saturday. After 5pm my wife did go to urgent care where she felt like it was a waste of a Dr. time. They prescribed a mild pain killer and she had to ask for a antibiotic as she was assuming it was an infection starting. She could not sleep Friday night due to pain. I called Park again early morning Saturday to try and speak to someone about the dental emergency we were having. I was instructed to leave a message by the after hour recording. My wife was in tears from pain. I tried all other Park dentals and none were open on Saturday. We ended up finding another dentist who fit her in on Saturday to perform a emergency root canal an treat for an infection. I did not hear back from Park until Monday morning at 10am responding to my message. I asked how the emergency message process worked and the response from the receptionist was "I am not sure" My wife ended up needing facial surgery to treat the infection that Monday which I feel was avoidable if we were seen on Friday.

About a year ago, my son cracked his tooth. Being five I figured it was a good idea to have it checked out along with a cleaning. The cleaning was covered by insurance however the x-rays werent. This is fine.. I dont blame them for this. Apparently the remainder went to collections. This is fine and probably my fault as well. So I call to schedule another cleaning for my kid and guess what? They wont even accept me as a customer any longer? Yes, this is even if the balance is paid. What kind of "health" provider business acts this way? None. They dont care about your health or your family at all. The funny thing is the bill is only 80 bucks. Even a business man knows that for 80 lousy bucks you land a lifelong client along with all the kind words they would say about your establishment. Not only are the people that run this place not in it to serve the communities health, but they are also horrible business people. Needless to say I wont be going here because I am not "allowed" to. Park Dental, I wont miss you....but you will miss the business I will lose you.

Went in for my yearly cleaning back in May was told I have a cavity. Cleaning went great finished up and went to front desk to schedule to get my filling taken care of, they told me they could not schedule an appt. for me that day because they were booked out until July so I needed to call back on July 1st to schedule so I said fine and left. Called back today June 27th (before July 1st) and they told me that unfortunately they could not schedule me because they were now booked out until August and that I need to call back August 1st. The lady on the phone offered nothing towards me besides for "I dont know why they would of told you that" um you just told me that yourself so answer your own sentence. So unbelievable frustrated right now with your company, whats it gonna take me to get an appt. call in saying you can now pull my tooth because you couldnt take care of a cavity?! Yes Im sure it has ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING TO DO WITH MY INSURANCE but Im sorry I dont have a choice you can thank Obama for that

I was a relatively new patient coming in for my second 6 month appointment. I was scheduled for 11:20AM Wednesday June 5th. I was taken in 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I would never dream of arriving 20 minutes late for my appointment, I only would expect the same courtesy from you. Once in the chair I was told I needed X-rays. I indicated that I would like to skip them. I don’t believe that the are needed as often as you can bill my insurance company for them. (My father was a dentist and my mother is a dental hygienist in another state.) I was told I couldn’t have an examination with out X-rays, so I left.

Most places do a follow up survey for feedback, but since this place doesnt, Ill have to give my advice on here: have the hygienists do cleanings on eachother, so they can give eachother feedback. Most patients wont complain, as I didnt when I had Jesse a year ago. I just made a mental note to make sure to never get her again. Today my daughter had an appointment, and remarked that her cleaning was unusually painful. I asked her if she had Jesse, and she said she thought she did. Jesse is the only one Ive had in the number of years Ive been going there who was this painful.
