We were told by "Dr." Ken Coldwell that we should "wait a few days" after my goose was attacked by a bobcat. He was drinking but not eating and he had horrific wounds on his head and neck. So we waited...Because vets are supposed to know what theyre talking about. Well...My goose was doing great for a couple days. Drinking a lot, walking, standing, and talking like normal. We even got some food in him. By the time we got in to see the vet...my goose had a high fever and bacteria and infection were spreading through his blood stream. Coldwell gave us a couple of medications to give him, (one which said for use in dogs ONLY and one which was used on human children), told us to keep him out of the A/C and that he should be feeling much better in just 24 hours, and sent us on our way. He said he expected him to live and make a full recovery in about three weeks. During the office visit, Coldwell was literally poking, proding, and jabbing at my gooses wounds simply to prove his points...He was not very gentle or compassionate toward the animal at all. Well...we get him home, keep him stress free, and gave him his medications like we were told. My goose STILL wouldnt eat and stopped drinking altogether. The next morning, he was overheated and had labored breathing (because we were told to keep him out of the A/C), he couldnt even hold his head up anymore and started having seizures...He died today. I will never return to this vets office. Everything the "doctor" told us was wrong. I am heartbroken and disgusted with Coldwells lack of knowledge...I do not recommend this place to ANYONE.

I always received decent care for my pets when I went there, but it costs a LOT and they are not shy about charging for unnecessary tests for any ailment your pet may have. Heres an example: my dog was throwing up. Nothing major, just regular vomiting. I took him in and they wanted to do a slew of tests including xrays, full blood work up, the works. Ended up being over $400. Turns out he was fine and got over it naturally in one day. Basically, this vet believes in "scare tactics" to prey on pet owners who care about their animals. This happened to me more than a couple times. I finally switched to a more reputable vet and have saved a ton of money while receiving far better care.

Dr. Murray and all her assistants were true angels in my situation...I was just a walk - in, no appt. in an emergency situation...and they worked me right in, and even gave the exam for free- They not only examined my pet, but counseled me and reassured me in making a very difficult decision in my life and the life of my pet. They were so patient, and so caring, and worked hard to help me. I will never forget every girl working there, and their kindness, and professional behavior! An answer to prayer they were!

NOT HOMELESS ANIMAL ADVOCATES! Ripped off a non-profit rescuer!!! The website says that they work with shelters and non-profit groups to help homeless animals. WRONG!!!! They do NOT give any price breaks. We had 2 basset hounds stay there 2 days and the bill was $90, which didnt include any medical attention, no grooming, no daycare, NOTHING, no perks, no special attention. It is a complete rip-off. We advocate with our dollars, I encourage you to go somewhere else if you care about homeless animals!

I Love VCA Vererinary Medical Center! I have been going to Dr. Crotty and Dr. Coldwell for more than 20 years. My current dog is a rescue who has had many medical problems. Their care for him has been nothing short of excellent, even though he has to be muzzled to be handled by anyone other than me. All of the people there are efficient and cheerful. If your pets need medical treatment take them to VCA with confidence.

VCA Veterinary Medical has always provided excellent care for my pets. The office is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. They are pricey - I have tried a couple of other veterinary offices over the years in an attempt to save money but I have always returned to VCA Veterinary Medical due to the staff and level of care.

Ive had Dr. Coldwell for years to care for my iguanas and ferret. Hes the only veterinary I trust in the entire city of Tulsa to take care of my exotic animals. I was so glad to find him after lots of trials and errors elsewhere. Dr. Coldwell is the best!

The staff at VMC are very kind and prompt. From making my appointment to checking out, everything was done with a smile. Dr. Livesay is an excellent vet and the assistants were very thorough when explaining treatments and cost.

Do NOT recommend VCA animal hospital. Billing errors on their part and they just say it is our fault. Customer service was poor when trying to resolve issues.
