Just brought my two new 6 month old kittens there for the first time for their rabies shots and the staff was so friendly. The kittens didnt even seem to notice that they got a shot. I was a little frazzled because I was running late and the boys HATE crates, so I brought them in on leashes. The kittens seem to like the leashes better but its a bit more difficult to manage - try carrying around or leading two six month old wriggly kittens at once. They were so impressed with the stellar behavior of my little fellas and let me wait in one of the rooms so they wouldnt have sensory overload with all the new smells and areas to explore. They treated Bruce and Grayson (the kittens) with nothing but affection and gave them treats to make the visit a little easier. The boys actually behaved SO WELL, they just wanted to love up on anybody who walked into the room, and the visit I had been so nervous for was just a breeze :)

I love the time they take explaining things to me instead of giving me the bums rush. My dog Kirby was diagnosed with diabetes and was blind 2 weeks later. The previous vet (not taking into account his stress) increased his insulin and thought getting a glucose monitor was useless. Dr. Otto & staff on the other hand showed us how to use it and they also did a proper curve and dropped his insulin. I love them so much we took our other dog in and where the previous vet waved him off as being fine, Dr. Otto took a look at him and it seems hes thyroid might be an issue. Either way isnt better to know so we are doing the right thing going forward.

Unfortunately, my first time coming to Dr.Otto ended with my beloved 9 year old lab being diagnosed with osteosarcoma. I am fairly new to Lincoln and had been taking my dog to a traveling vet prior to this. Less than a month of the diagnosis, I had to put my lab down. I will always, always, always recommend Dr.Otto to others. I couldnt have asked for a better veterinarian and I will never go anywhere else! I now have a new puppy and take her to Cotner Pet Care. Dr.Otto is so knowledgeable, kind, and caring. He is truly one of those people who are doing what they were meant to do in life! He has great staff as well.

My very old-man dog, an 11 year old lab shepherd mix has only seen one vet his whole life - my sister in law. However, we now live in Lincoln & she is in Omaha, so when we had what looked like a very serious health emergency, we chose Dr. Otto and Cotner Pet Care. Taco has never been a big fan of strangers, and especially not vets or vet techs... however, he wagged his tail and went right to Dr. Otto, pushing his head into Dr. Ottos hand for petting, and gladly left the room with him for lab work. I am very pleased with the treatment we received, and would highly recommend Dr. Otto & his team.

Recently went in with our new puppy Tiberious and they were absolutely fantastic, the entire staff was extremely friendly and tolerant of our working and reworking out all of the costs to find out if the plans are worth the money. Ill save you the math and tell you that the puppy plan, including the Neuter, is extremely worth it. We only had the final round of vaccinations and its still saving us $300 Itd be way more if we had to get all 4 rounds. They also have quite a way with the animals and their passion really shines through. Highly recommended!

AMAZING service!!!!! Dr. Otto is a true cat whisper!!! Past experience with other vet clinics my cats would growl and scratch. Absolutely NO issues from the very first time DR Otto & staff stated working with my cats!!! When I had to put my dear Jasmine (18 yrs old && had her since she was 6 months old) down the staff and Dr. Otto where amazing as I sat and cried . Jasmine had kidney failure and we fought it for over 5 years. I still take my other cat Leah to Dr. Otto for her diabetes & insulin.

This was my first visit to Cotner Pet Care. I had to board my dog, Pork Chop, for a week. I went in and met some staff and took a look at where my pet would be kept, got some answers and made my decision. I called to check on Pork Chop and the gal who answered the phone was reassuring that he was doing good. I felt silly for calling the times I did but she reassured me it was no bother. Pork Chop enjoyed his stay and I will board him here again. Thanks to the Cotner Pet Care staff!

I took my kitten, Mr. Poopy, into Cotner Pet Care. All I have to say is the staff was AMAZING!! They talked me through everything, throughout the day the kept me informed on what was going on and how he was doing. When I picked him up they explained everything to me in detail. Best of all they called me the following day to see how he was doing and if I had any questions!! Go check them out, you wont be sorry!!

My pets receive quality care from Dr. Otto and the staff at Cotner Pet Care. Dr. Otto is thorough, caring and knowledgeable. He reviews the symptoms carefully, and works diligently to help my animals get well. His manner is so approachable that even my most reticent dog is able to respond positively to him. I highly recommend Cotner Pet Care, Dr. Otto and the veterinarians who work with him.

Super friendly and professional staff take care of all of our pets needs. One of our dogs had to have a major surgery, and her care was top-notch. The staff cared for her like she was one of their family. We also see Dr. Otto for routine exams, nail trims, and various maladies. He and his staff are incredibly kind, patient and helpful to both the animals and their owners!!! We love Dr. Otto!!!

Right after I got a new cat, I brought her into see Dr. Otto for her first checkup. My cat, Elsa, had been handed off a couple times and I didnt really know her medical history. I was highly impressed by Dr. Otto and his staff, and the visit was a great experience. He looked at my cat with great compassion and knew exactly what she needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Otto and Cotner Pet Care.

Monday our pet Yancy got very sick. We took him here and they diagnosed him with pancreatitis. I cant say enough how good everyone was to us. He stayed there overnight 2 nights and was well cared for. When he came home we got at least two calls a day to check on his progress. Saturday he turned the corner and is almost back to normal. Thank you to the wonder staff there. Our Vet is Dr. Otto.

Im new to Cotner Pet Care, but have been very satisfied with the caring and accommodating staff there. They have a great care plan available and explain options, as well as staying in close contact regarding your pets treatment and follow up. I plan to bring the rest of my four legged family here when they are in need of checks, shots, etc.
