In November of 2008 my sons dog was treated with Prednisone by Dr. Wilson for what he said was a swollen lymph node. At that time the lump in her neck was approximately the size of a walnut. Dr. Wilson did not perform any diagnostics on her when drawing this conclusion or prescribing treatment with steroids. The lump diminished only slightly and returned in late December. My son continued to work with Dr. Wilson in the treatment of this illness and by late February, the lump had grown considerably. At my urging, my son requested that the Dr. Wilson at least run some blood work to see if the dog was fighting an infection in what we believed was a lymph node/gland issue. He refused. When my son inquired about removal of the lump, he again refused and told my son the lump was inoperable because there was muscle involved now. Dr. Wilson continued to keep the dog on Prednisone. When my son came to visit us in Oklahoma City with his dog 2 weeks ago, I was appalled to see the lump was now the size of a tennis ball and hard in the center. She was also listless, stumbling, and incontinent. We took her to our own vet the following Monday. He aspirated the lump and said we needed to take her to a critical care surgeon and have the growth removed soon. The pathology reported the fluid extracted was involving a salivary gland and not the lymphatic system at all. The surgeon sent a very large section of the tumor he removed to the lab and we learned yesterday that the tumor was malignant. I have no idea why Dr. Wilson refused to perform diagnostics on my sons dog, while she continued to get sicker and the tumor continued to grow. He obviously never even knew what he was dealing with. She has suffered under his lack of compassionate care and will probably die of cancer when early detection might have saved her from suffering or prolonged her life.

Their staff has consistently provided excellent customer service to me and my two kitties, Maya and Loka. Maya is a HANDFULL (if you’re a cat owner you understand) and they always greet her with a smile and are excited to see her (regardless of her behavior last time she was in). Loka is new to our family, but I never questioned where we would take her to get her Spay. They even gave us pointers on how to acquaint the two new kitties to each other. Maya came down with some tummy problems once, not only did the Doc give me some conventional medicine, he gave me some naturopathic home remedies to help her along. A++ Vet.

Dr. Wilson, takes wonderful care of my pets. He treats them as if their his one personal pet. I had a Maltese experiencing COPD he called a specialist with experience in Heart matters, and was able to add to Precious life! She was 14 years old, and he took great care of her, and my current pet. If your wanting "E-Mails, Text Messages and Fancy Equipment" this is not the place, BUT if you want a VET with experience on how to take care of your pet then this is the place! The whole staff is very caring!!

Weve had generations of our family and pets go here for years and after today we will only use them for emergencies, if even that. They have loyalty to some customers offering them payment plans but none to long standing customers. As we left we heard a lady discussing her payment plan after the receptionist rudely told us they dont offer payment plans. If your pet was dying in front of them they would want money first.

Dr. Wilson is amazing! He is honest and doesnt try to sell you thing you dont need. He understands that not every pet owner has a ton of money and he will tell only recommend the essentials. My pets are always a nervous wreck whenever Ive taken them to the vet but Dr Wilson has a way about him that puts then at ease. I recommend him to everyone I know. I am so thankful to have found country club veterinary hospital!!

I decided to use Country Club after reading the reviews. Everything said is TRUE! They got me in very quickly. The staff was extremely friendly. I had 3 children ages 5,4 and 2 with me plus my two yorkies. They were so patient and kind. The vet did not seem affected by the children at all and still gave my animals a thorough visit. I will definitely keep going back!

You can trust their service and your dog or cat with this clinic. Dr Wilson is high integrity, experienced and loves the animals. He will give you sound advice and direction where he may feel he is lacking as far as advanced and newer surgery skills. His ability to diagnose a problem is the best Ive ever seen from coast to coast in the 25 years that Ive had a pet.

Doc.Wilson is the best vet ever, all of our pets visit him! He know just what to say and do he is so smart and good with animals!! 3 is the best you can go but I say he is 100% excellent!! abbie GPIG and sunny DOG love him so much and we do to!! :)

Im not shocked that the worst review is from his competition. This guy is Dr. Doolittle and makes a connection with his clients, both patient and owner. I have been there several times in the past 4 years, always a good experience.
