I want to express my absolute disappointment in this practice. I called Genesis OBGYN when I found out I was pregnant for the first time and wanted to come in and meet with a doctor. This is my first pregnancy and I had no idea what was going on with my body and I felt it important to see someone who knows what I should and shouldnt do instead of just relying on message boards online. I called the office and they told me no one would see me until I was 10 weeks pregnant. Thats fine, I guess...Ill just wait and deal with the morning sickness and my changing body on my own. So 10 weeks rolls around and I had a scare..I started bleeding one night pretty heavily and it scared me to death. The bleeding stopped shortly after it started and I didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars at the emergency room at midnight so I decided I would call Genesis on Monday morning to see if they could fit me in sometime in the next day or so and determine if my baby was still alive. I called first thing in the morning and not only did they refuse (again) to see me (or give me any alternative times), Gwen told me very rudely and condescendingly that their ultrasound machine didnt work. Now before you think that maybe they didnt want to see me because I have no insurance, that is wrong. I have insurance, a great income, and was ready and more than willing to give my money to SOMEONE who could see me and talk to me and let me know if my baby was alive. I hung up on Gwen, in tears, and called the only other doctor in the area that I could find (thanks Google!). Dr. Hennessys office took me in that day, consulted me, gave me an ultrasound, determined for me that my baby is actually healthy and doing well and I learned that my scare was just a cyst. The doctor I saw at Hennessys office was actually very surprised and a little bit appalled that it was 10-11 weeks and I hadnt seen a doctor. So not only will I never try to see Dr. Seaton again, I highly advise no one else does as well. I have never felt so unwanted by any doctors office in my life.

Where to start...Staff seems bothered by their own patients. They ordered the wrong labs which cost us 800$ and told us to deal with the lab/insurance company. The actual obgyn doctor is rarely there, in the 5 months we were patients there we saw the dr. once... We have been waiting to transfer to another obgyn and they told us they legally have 14 days to sign the paperwork, fast forward 13 days later my wife just received a call telling her the MD has not been around and wont be for another 2 weeks. I am thoroughly disappointed in how my wife was treated, in how unprofessional the whole staff is and I strongly suggest not going to this facility. On top of this I know several nurses (should have consulted them first) in the area which cringed at the mere mention of Dr. Seaton. If I could give negative stars I would. After this review I expect that my wifes records will never make it to their destination.

Wow, if I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Scroll down below to see the inappropriate, bitchy, and just plain RUDE comment they left on the dude whos wife had serious issues. As an OB it is literally YOUR JOB to insure not only patient safety, but but patient security. There is no reason it should take 14 days to fax over info, especially when she needed her info so bad. Terrible place, terrible reputation. The doctors reputation alone is actually worse than the place itself, not to mention shes RUDE and blatantly DOES NOT CARE. All and all, piece of trash place. Never going here . Smh, why as a BUSINESS would you be so stupid/ignorant to leave a nasty reply to a former patient on Google reviews?? LMAO the office must not have thought through that decision, because if I can see your trashy comment, every one else can, too! NOT PROFESSIONAL OR INTELLIGENT PLACE !

Dr. Seaton and everyone in the office was of no help to me. She had ZERO bedside manner, and her front service was terrible! I went to a new doctors office, and asked to have my medical records faxed over, an hour later, I still hadn't heard anything. I highly recommend for any future patients to keep looking! 9/29/2011- update: Dr. Seaton just personally called my phone and was VERY rude to me for expressing my opinion here. Saying that if I had a problem with her, I should have posted this 4 months earlier, and did not listen to a thing I had to say. She did not help me, at all. I am telling you...go see another doctor, because what she just showed me, was how unproffesional she really is.

The staff at Genesis OB GYN is wonderful! I called to make an appointment, but like another person wrote they had a full schedule (which is normal, other gynos in the area were booked even further out) but I went ahead and made an appointment. The lady I spoke to was very kind and put me on their waiting list. The next day they called me with an appointment that same week. Dr. Seaton is a great doctor. She is extremely caring and takes her time to listen and answer questions. I feel very welcome there and recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Recently, I was in a lot of pain and needed to see a doctor. I tried to call and make an appointment, explaining that I needed to see someone, and they brushed me off, saying that I needed to wait two weeks because theres "no spots available". I tried to explain that I was in pain, but not to the point of going to a hospital, and they told me "sorry" theres nothing they can do. What a horrible office to turn a patient away when theyre hurt.

Wonderful practice!! Dr. Seaton was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had related to my pregnancy. I felt completely comfortable and confident with her as my doctor and would highly recommend her to any other pregnant women in the area that may be looking for a OB/GYN.

I am new to the area and wanted a good doctor. I was nervous about going to a new doc. I was put at ease as soon as I called to make an appointment. Dr Seaton was easy going and very professional. Most import she seemed to care about me and my concerns. I think I made the right choice!
