Okay! I am using Dr. Summers for weight loss and for GYN. He is a people person and I love that, because lots of physicians just arent. So its refreshing that he has such a down-to-earth approach to medicine and a great bedside manner. Love that! I lost 12 lbs my first month and now Im on the liraglutide (Saxenda) and I have NEVER in my 47 years had LESS of an appetite in my life. I want to do anything BUT eat. Im fat, I love food and I never thought this would happen. For the first time in my life, I have to stop and eat and Im not doing it because Im craving a food or eating impulsively or just hungry. Seriously... this is what skinny feels like. LOVE IT!!! I went to see him for an annual exam the other day, as well. I felt VERY comfortable with Dr. Summers. I felt as if I could talk to him about anything with regards to my body and menopause, etc. He is a VERY good physician. I can tell that he is VERY interested in people, that he likes people and that he really cares about making people feel better. He was referred to me by a friend and I have SEVERAL friends who see him as well and Ive heard NOTHING BUT GOOD things. Im so glad that I made the decision to see him and Im sure that I will continue to trust Dr. Summers with my healthcare needs. Christina Sullivan

I hadnt been to the Gyno in 12 years and I was absolutely terrified, but I was having strange menstrual cycles, and I knew I really had no choice but to go. I called St. Vincents Dial-A-Nurse to ask about my symptoms and the nurse said "I cant advise you when you havent seen a doctor in so long. You HAVE to make an appointment to be seen..." So, I asked her to recommend someone and God blessed me when she provided me with Dr. Summers name. He and all of his staff are amazingly kind and upbeat, and wonderful. His office is warm and cozy, decorated with beautiful antiques and knick-knack items. He had Madonna playing on the PA system (lol !!) and I was almost completely relaxed when he came into the exam room. Dr. Summers happened to notice that I made several remarks about my weight, something I dont even notice doing, and he talked with me for some time about my life, my weight, and everything. I felt like Id been reunited with a long lost friend. What a good man and fantastic human being. I absolutely cant give enough praise!

Just moved here from out of state and was very nervous to find an obgyn. I have had previous concerns and right away, Dr. Summers eased all anxiety I had about my concerns. He took the time to explain to me what was going on, why my body was doing this & as silly as it may sound, drew a picture/diagram to help me understand better. He did several precautionary tests and even sent me off for some further ones. He sent me away after the appointment not only with less anxiety, but with the knowledge that even my precious specialist in Maryland hadnt given me in the 5 years I had been seeing them! Id 100% recommend Dr. Summers to anyone. Hes extremely professional -- yet down to earth, very knowledgable, talks to you in a relatable manner and extremely kind. Thank you Dr.Summers!

My gyn retired and I remembered Dr. Summers from the practice in 1990 so I decided to give him a try. It was a fantastic exam without a terrible wait, which is usually the case. At the conclusion of the exam, he talked to me about weight loss. Of course I knew it was obvious that I needed to lose weight but he did it in a "health-related" fashion without making me feel guilty about the extra 50 lbs. I was carrying around. Its been 3 months and Im down 25 lbs. The medication is fantastic and this is a post-Christmas holiday weight. My highest recommendations for anyone needing gynecological or weight-loss services.

WONDERFUL,AWESOME,COMPASSIONATE,THOUGHTFUL,KIND!!!!! I dont know if there are enough words to describe this great Dr you will not be disappointed with him or his GREAT STAFF. I wish I would have used him 10 yrs ago when all my problems started but 5 Drs later I found my savior truly my marriage was on its last leg but thanks to Dr Summers I am gonna be married to my Love till death do us part!
