I wish I couldnt even give him 1 star. He was the Ob for my 3rd child after we moved to Nashville. I dilated early on (18 wks) and had issues with contractions/pt labor. It was a rough pregnancy. I felt like a burden every time I had to call to let them know what was going on. When I finally went into labor at 35+5 he barely made it into the room on time, it was a fast labor. But afterwards he PULLED the placenta while I was pushing even though I told him it hurt and afterwards I bled for 30 mins. After delivery I didnt bleed at ALL and he said I was LUCKY for this. I had 2 other kids- this isnt normal. After I went home on day 3 I started getting high fevers and alot of pain. They said it was most likely a UTI and to not worry. But I ended up going to Stonecrest after 3 more days of this. Got antibiotics. After 2 days I am in the ER for 106.7 temp and dying from a blood infection that they determined was from the retained placenta from him pulling it. I was in the ICU for 5 more wks with complications from a D&C which caused me to hemmorhage and started passing hand-sized clots afterwards--after not bleeding AT ALL for 5 wks. Called the office and he said THIS IS NORMAL THIS IS MY FIRST PERIOD AFTER BABY. No. Not when I needed 3 blood transfusions to correct this and I nearly died again, from blood loss. After all of that, he wouldnt even see me for my 6 wk checkup after I got out of ICU. And my case was so severe that no other OBGYNs would take me on as a patient or take on my case. Thankfully I had the best PCP who helped me thru all this. I will suggest NO OTHER WOMEN go to see this dr. It was a situation that could have been prevented if he did his job as an OB and took the time to listen to me while I explained what was going on, instead of being SO old fashioned as to think every patient is the same and XYZ symptoms were normal.

Dr. Boerner was amazing! His staff was always polite. You only sit in the waiting room for 10 minutes tops. I began seeing him in April 2014 after discovering that I was pregnant. I developed preeclampsia, and Dr. Boerner immediately put me on bed rest and began seeing me weekly. If I came to an appointment and he saw anything that concerned him, I was immediately sent to the hospital to be evaluated. He was polite but stern during labor and delivery. Due to my preeclampsia, I had an emergency delivery at 35 weeks therefore it was a little more stressful than your average delivery. During and after delivery he thoroughly explained what was happening and made sure I understood. I could not have asked for a better doctor. He may come off as rude to a "pansy" (for lack of a better word), however I prefer to be told what I need to be told and I do not expect anyone to hold my hand while doing so. I definitely intend to see him if I decide to have anymore children. I would not go anywhere else!

I thought he was a great doctor.... I was pregnant with my first child. Make story short, he told me she had Gastroschisis. I was told that he occurred in about 1 in a million. So i thought ok well we can deal with this. One of the nurses said that they used to have a patient whos little boy had the same thing & she would talk to me about it to let me know hes ok now, to make me feel better. When she was born she had arthrogryposis as well. Cause? Amniotic leak. She is now 3 1/2 yrs. old & is great but i found out that my aunts friends baby has gastroschisis & arthrogryposis as well. Her doctor? Dr.Boerner. Now my cousin had a baby with an amniotic leak & he passed away. Her Dr? Dr.Boerner. Now excuse me but isnt this supposed to be a RARE CONDITION?! Now i talk to other doctors & they said they know what it is but have personality never had a patient with it....WHAT??? Somethings very fishy about Dr.Boerner & i HIGHLY recommend you dont see him. I will get to the bottom of this...

Dr assured me after I raised concerns about something being wrong with my baby that everything was fine. I went to the er and was taken directly to Baptist where we lost our baby due to complications that were preventable if he had only listened to me and tested for them. Also he told me that I did have PCOS but only just a little.... Its like being pregnant either you are or you arent. And after my pregnancy I had a hysterectomy and I still dont know what they took out and what they left. I am getting the run around about getting my records. He treated me like I didnt need to know and like I was a hypercondriac mom and didnt know what I was talking about. (It was my 4th pregnancy) He was not my dr for any of my other pregnancies and will never be again! Do not go here!!

The hunt is on for a new OB. "Dr" Boerner is rude mean and does not treat patients with any respect of any kind especialy if they are young. he is what i call a turn them and burn them just aftter the money from insurcance. i would not even tell my worst foe to see him. He Was very disconcernd with what was wrong with my daughter as ill as she was. lied to us. when we left his office head to the er and she was addmited due to dehydration and vomiting du to sever HG. and the full exam he gave was less than 2 min never in my life had i seen anything like it no warning or resopns to and pain you might feel with it. my daughter said she felt total violated by it.

Doctor B has been my doctor since 2007. He has gotten my husband & I through the birth of our 2 children, later a cervical cancer scare (which another doctor told me I had), & finally my tubal ligation in 2013. My husband has been to every appointment but right before my surgery my husband got called to work & there was no getting out of it... I was freaking out and alone, Dr. B. was extremely caring and talked with me before and afterward like were old friends. He even asked about how the kids were and about my husband. I never want to use a different doctor.

Had to go to him once when my dr was out of town. Awful staff and awful dr. He came off like a creep to me. Then my sister went to him this past year. He used an intern and didnt tell her. She hurt her. Anyways wasnt the first time he saw her. He is just very careless. The staff does not care if u are waiting at the desk for forever, they will sit there n talk after their smoke breaks and leave u waiting. See for yourself. Good luck

I have never had an issue with Dr Boerner. I am having my second child and I used him for my first. he answers every question you have and is very polite. I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff and Dr. Would recommend him. Also my first labor and delivery went wonderful !
