Like to start by saying my primary of the last 27 years who was caring, listened, and always remembered you and the issues you had gone through retired. I was referred to jupiter medical group and unfortunately that was a mistake. At first I was very impressed with the flexable hours and all the in house services they offered. Today was my second office visit and I realized that what you see isnt what you get. My visit was a routine visit to refill my prescriptions. The nurse was very nice and respectful, then came the PA. He Came into the room and introduced himself so fast I could not even hear what he said then after a quick glance at a computer felt he needed to tell me my medications were way over dose. Never asked how I felt why I was on the medications or look at the fact that over the last ten years dosages have been raised do to tolerances. I couldnt tell if he was trying to insinuate that I misused drugs of if I was crazy ( no its not pain medicine). He decided to use a very unprofessional choice of words to describe a specialist. I said that I would be looking for a new doctor. He immediately got up to walk out of the room and I said since I was there at least fill my prescription (they charged me they should at least give me the services I was there for). The nurse then came in with the scripts and the quantity wasnt correct for my insurance to cover it. The PA came back in and I explained insurance only covered a 3 month supply and his response was when I find a new doctor let him fill it. I briefly with one word let him know what I thought of him and went on my way only to be given a attitude by a secretary that didnt even know what happend in the back. In short there are some very pleasant people who work there but it is out weighed by the not so pleasant. I will be looking for another practice, hopefully remaining and future patients will be treated more like people than numbers and that there physicians assistant learns that if one day he wants to be a real doctor, he really needs to learn to be a professional first.

Absolutely Livid with their medical clinic I find it funny reading other peoples reviews & experiencing the same problems as me. I had a very small hand wart that was barely noticeable & the same type on my thumb too. I came there just slightly concerned about it & Dr Shariff or however you spell her name, tell me its a HPV Virus with no further information. If it wasnt for google I would have thought it meant I had some sort of STD. She tells me that the wart on my thumb was to big to remove but she could freeze off the small wart on my palm with liquid nitrogen. She did not tell me that the procedure has the chance of going wrong, any instructions on how to care for it after the procedure or that removing the damn thing was going to be 200$. I would happily pay the 200$ if it did me any good, but instead it damaged the skin around the wart helping the wart to expand & take in more skin. I had to go to Waters Edge Dermatology ( Highly recommend them) to fix the problem they created & they removed the wart on my thumb too and the procedures cost me 115 for BOTH of the warts to be removed. Dr Sharriff couldnt answer any of my basic questions about encouraging healthy skin growth with scarring & Why I even had the hand warts in the first place. When I asked other small questions that I already knew the answer to but wanted a doctors opinion she literally said, " I dont know, Im just a primary-care doctor. " I wont be seeing my 200$ because it was a "service" given to me & "Its my responsibility to pay" I had to wait a hour on the phone just to get that answer. You`re wasting your money going there

Definitely will NOT be going back to Jupiter Medical Group! The staff managing the phones and front desk, specifically Lisa, has a terrible attitude and no customer service skills. That was besides everything else wrong with this experience. I met with Dr. Leon Camilo Uribe because I had two swollen lymph nodes which appeared overnight. Dr. Uribe told me it was probably because I cut myself shaving and the body was sending out its "rescue team" to heal the cut... Mind you I hadnt shaved for over a week and I informed him of that. He said there was nothing he could do at the time and made comments such as "I dont know exactly why this happen, it could be anything, only God knows... but hey, the people still pay me big money..." Two days later I had SEVEN swollen lymph nodes in my neck and I was fighting the worst infection Ive personally experienced. Nonstop fever for four days, sore throat, runny nose, could barely get out of bed, etc. That could have been prevented or lessened if I got medication from the getgo if Dr. Uribe did his due diligence and test-swabbed me for what illness my body was fighting instead of telling me I had swollen lymph nodes due to cutting myself shaving! Not to mention the office had me pay a $70 co-pay - which I paid with no hesitation. But when I called my insurance company they informed me my deductible had been met and my patient responsibility should only have been $16.20 and that Jupiter Medical Group was responsible for calling me and refunding me - which they never did.

TLDR; the group is fine but the on-call doctor I connected with was disgusting. I was made to feel like a burden to her rather than a patient in need. The service is standard and the on-site staff are friendly. HOWEVER, if you find that you need immediate care after hours, dont bother with the on-call doctor. The WONDERFUL operator attempted to connect me with an on-call doc thrice in an hour, and when I was finally put through, it was a waste of time, as I was basically told that my case wasnt worth even five minutes of counseling. For reference, Im 20, underweight and have severe digestive issues, from which I was suffering when I made my desperate call for guidance at 6 in the morning because I couldnt get to the ER or Urgent Care. The doctor on-call, a young female, was without empathy- instead, she had a nasty attitude; in fact, she didnt acknowledge the situation that Id called to speak with her about once- not a word of actual doctorly help. Here are a few fun bits from our short conversation (not verbatim) and keep in mind to read these with a snotty attitude :). (her immediate response) "I dont know, youre just going to have to make an appointment with your doctor." (When asked how long the wait usually is for appt. with pcp) "Im a doctor, not a receptionist. I dont do that. Just call them during hours. " " You dont call for this at 6 in the morning (*keep in mind that it was now actually 7 as I had been waiting for this call for an hour and I was STILL IN NEED OF HELP*)

Its absolutely upsetting, I never have been tempted to write a bad review until I stumbled onto this place. For one thing, getting a call for a appointment and billing takes you 10 minutes and dont be surprised if they hang up on you randomly. The atmosphere there is nice & most of the people are nice to you, but they are out for you money. Which you cant be surprised, but my problem was that I came in there for a check up. They try to "fix" small problems that you have ,but that small problem i had that I was ignoring because it wasnt lethal or affecting my health in any way. Costed me 200$ and I had to go to another facility to fix a problem that wasnt even a problem in the first place which cost me an additional 100$. Trying to get the money back is now a hassle because "they were providing me a service" yet they gave me no medical instructions, or the fact that my insurance would not cover the procedure and when they were providing the "service" The doctor wasnt even careful about it. My advice to you, if you just need someone to tell you the results from getting work done like your blood or a cholesterol check by all means go ahead and use this place. But for anything other than that i HIGHLY recommend going anywhere else because the pricing is ridiculous and you will most likely have to go somewhere else anyway.. Im not the only person that had to be redirected somewhere else because of lack of knowledge with their tools and handling them.
