Do not take your kid here for braces. They will nickel and dime you till blue in the face. I took my son here for his braces 3 years ago. My initial charge was somewhere in the range of 5k. I agreed to pay this amount because they assured me this included everything. However, they failed to mention the Co payment everytime my son needed to go in to tighten his braces. Also, they extended my sons time he needed to keep his braces and they are charging me $70 for every visit each month. My son missed 2 months due to a surgery and this crappie places still charge me $140 for those 2 months. The attendant told me thats just the way it is everywhere. It is not. I took my other son to Whittier dental and it is a one time charge. I think after it is all said and done I will be in for about 7k for my sons braces. Take your kid anywhere but here.

I had a really bad experience at Uptown Dental Group , I dont understand how Dental Board of California could validates diplomas from Tijuana. They are specialist only in suck your insurance coverage in a couple of visits. They overcharge for all the treatment that you get most of them unnecessaries. The owner Dr. Marcela Perez is as incompetent as arrogant and vulgar . There are to many dentists in a place where you can see only a couple of diplomas hanging on the walls. I would not recomend this place even to my worst enemy I am against the torture and that is you are going to get there

I feel the same way, on my first visit I was not giving a diagnostic in writing just verbal ,you need that and this and insurance does not cover that. they just want your money, I have been asking for a written work info, until now they claim she is very busy.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Theyre the con artists full of hidden fees. And if you dont pay they simply wont take your braces off so youre forced to pay or sue them in court. Theyre the worst ortho place you can go to.

Doctors are on point but the staffs bedside manner and knowledge of the outside world use some improvement...
