Es incríble que alguien pueda describir a la doctora Medina como alguien "rude." Yo llevo mas de 15 años llevando a mis animalitos (incluyendo perros y gatos) a esta clínica y tanto la doctora como sus empleados han sido muy profesionales, amables y respetuosos tanto con ellos como conmigo. La doctora Medina es amante de los animales y cada vez que ha tenido que tratar a alguno de los míos ha sabido darme el mejor consejo y tratamiento adecuado para que se mejoren lo más pronto posible. Nunca he tenido ninguna mala experiencia ni con ella ni con sus empleados y siempre les ha dado a mis animalitos el tratamiento adecuado. Gracias Dra. Medina, la felicito por su profesionalismo. Recomiendo altamente a cualquiera que ame a sus mascotas como yo que le confíe plenamente a sus animalitos a la dra. Medina tanto como a los empleados de Westchester Animal Hospital.

We moved my little schanauzer from her old vets office as he retired to Westchester as it was referred to us as a good place. At the beginning all was fine but owner/vet decided to put a rabbies shot on my little schanauzer that had a heart condition and when we questioned it she said it would be fine...we questioned it as earlier in February she didnt recommend the vaccine and now later in the month she said it would be fine. The vaccine got her to have a seizure which she never experienced in her life and she never recovered and though we took her back to her old vets office. They questioned that why would a vet knowing the little one was old and had heart failure gave her a rabbies shot as they could have waived the shot without a problem for at least a year. My little one did not recovered from the side effect of the shot and we had to put her down so she would stop suffering. My daughters fiancee called the Westchester to tell them what Precious was going thru due to their neglience and not even a call to say "sorry for your lost"...however they did keep the $150.00 they charged us for the rabbies shot and for the medication to take her out of her seizure. We will be taking our little 6-pound mini poodle out of this office. Do I recommend them the ANSWER IS "NO"....the staff is very nice but the neglience of Dr Medina will never be forgotten.

Dr. Medina and her staff have cared for my beloved lab mix Luna, since she was adopted from a shelter 15 years ago. Luna has had excellent health, which I am sure can be directly attributed to the advice and subsequent treatments over the years, administered by Dr. Medina. Cancer, arthritis, spondoliosis, pancreatitis, all cropping up in the last 3 to 5 years have been eradicated and/or controlled. Dr. Medina has maintained a gentle, caring and loving environment to the point where I would never even dream of going elsewhere for veterinary care. From Julia at the front desk, to Betty the vet tech, and now also Dr. Noguera, a vet there that administers acupuncture for Lunas arthritis, her care is what has kept Luna going. I trust them with the life of a much loved furry family member, and I can wholeheartedly and unequivocally recommend her facility and services. Love them bunches, and grateful for them

Cough syrup to treat heart-worm?? Early last year, my 3 pound male chihuahua started coughing and seemed like he had something stuck in his throat. After some searching online, his symptoms raised the possibility of heart-worm. His coughing got worse over time, and I took him to Westchester Animal Hospital, a place highly recommended by a friend. Seemed good enough. The vet took blood sample and checked the dog, said it wasnt heart-worm, but a simple cough. She was even rude, and seemed in a hurry. She sold me some overpriced cough syrup for dogs, and said it would go away. The dog died of heart-worm, the cough syrup was useless! This vet ripped me off, I paid more than $200 for nothing, do not bring your dogs or money here.
