Friendly staff and thats about it. Not fond of the physician. Went for a contact prescription check/ eye exam. I already have contacts I just wanted to make sure my prescription hadnt changed. Come to find out they will not release my prescription until I pay for a contact fitting even though I didnt need them! After I eat the fitting bill and get trial contacts , my vision was worse than my old prescription! I gave my eyes a week to adjust but ended up going back to my old prescription. Not to mention the computers went down so I had to come back the next day and pay to get my prescription. Time and money are things that I dont waste. Which is why I didnt want to chance wasting more time and money for a refitting exam. Bottom line, the only thing I got out of it was an eye check up even though I paid for a contact fitting and prescriptions that are wrong. I went back to my old prescription and will stay clear of this place.

Im a customer here at Henry Ford Optim Eyes and I just recently placed an order for contacts over the phone and had them shipped to your store.The process was simple but the customer service was horrible! The employee made it seem like I was inconveniencing her in some way. Then when I came to pick up my contacts two weeks later the lady at the front desk rudely told me that I cant pick up my contacts at the store and if I had them shipped here they wouldnt be at this location anyways. I had to state that I indeed place an order and it was called in for this store .The girl was just rude and said well you cant wait here at the front desk.Someone else had to help me and my contacts ended up being at the front desk to begin with.Bad service all together time wasted for no reason

Uncaring, unwelcoming front desk staff. Doctors not scheduled properly and conduct eye exams in a rush. This was my first time at the store. 3 front desk employees kept talking to each other for around 5 mins while they saw I was waiting for them. No one asked if I could be helped. I asked one guy a question and he passed me to the lady next to him. Even though I was on time, I waited 20 mins to see the optician/assistant. She was good in her tasks. Waited another 20 mins to see the optometrist. He was polite but rushed and rushed through the eye exam. After the eye exam I waited another 25 mins for one of the store assistants to help in answering questions about frames and help in choosing one. Frame variety is not large as compared to the store size.

The welcome receptionists are misinformed to start with and will recommend services such as a lens recheck even if the manager will deny you. They lost my SSN somehow from last year, and where unable to find my insurance dispute the group and policy and member ids not changing at all. How do you lose an SSN over a year when it worked correctly the year before? They where able to pull up my wifes policy (same as mine) without issue. Wasted over 30 minutes of my time fixing their mistake on the insurance side, receptionist incorrectly about services that where currently available under the insurance after resolving it, manager disagreed with what the welcome receptionist solicited. Totally incompetent team at Henry Ford Optim Eyes of Taylor MI.

The doctor was very nice and the office is very clean and organized. However I was very disappointed when I went to pick up my daughters glasses. The guy who helped us simply had my daughter try them on and then told me to sign a paper and we were done. No adjusting the fit (ans they needed it because they are too loose) , he didnt offer us a hard case (which I know costs money and I would have paid) instead of the flimsy soft case the glasses came in (did I mention the glasses are for a child) and they sit crooked on her face. Im going to have to go to some other vision place and have them adjust them fpr my daughter because Im upset that he didnt do what I believe he should have done.

Diann is great! Was my first time buying a really nice pair of glasses, the front desk associate was super nice. Then Diann came over to help me, she smiled through out the process. Is very knowledgeable, fun, honest, and made my experience enjoyable. Received my glasses the next day, I love them so much. Bobby brown brand alittle pricy but my insurance covered a portion. Is a plastic frame, dark grey color, it was a perfect match. Thank You Diann!

Terrible service! First I waited forever for them to check insurances since there was a problem that came up. shouldnt it have been done before I had came in for my appt?? Then I waited almost an hour for someone to call us back, the doctor was great but the guy manager that I had spoke with about the ridiculous wait time was very rude and unhelpful...

Excellent customer care! I have never been to an office that is so professional, honest, kind, and just down right nice! Doctor Meredith Jeffery is very thorough and professional, honest and kind at the same time. Wonderful experience! Did I mention how fast I got in there and out with a room full of patients there! Im happy with this place!

Horrific ! I had advanced cataracts and the "eye doctor" told me that 1) I could wait a year and 2)that thier glasses would help, less that 6 weeks after my last visit , I was unable to drive or work. They knew that my insurance was "out of network" but No No they did not tell me until I had bought their glasses. Stay Away!

They call to remain me of my doctor appointment three times but I guess they had a problem with my insurance after saying they take it so I showed up on time they said to leave and I asked why all they had to do was call and say there was a problem but they where rude I went lenscraft in mall and got my glasses same day

Made eye appointments for myself and eldest son. Two days before, they called to let me know that insurance wouldnt cover my exam until August. I was greatly appreciative of this, and they even let me switch my appointment to one for my middle son. Two kids in one day?! Thank you for making this Mamas running easier

Went here for first time and had a fast welcoming experience. All the workers helped me quickly and Cessli actually was there for me to tell me if I looked good or not which helped a lot because I was alone! Called same day for me to pick up glasses! Awesome work guys

Neat new building. Customer service needs a little work. Three weeks with no explanation is too long to wait for glasses. Watch out, they add the "loyalty program" to your bill without asking!!

I went for a contact lens examination and I found the exam to be very thorough, more so than any other places I have been to in the past. I honestly would recommend this place to others.

Excellent customer experience. Highly recommend Candice Johnson as an eyewear consultant! She helped my wife and was patient and even offered bottled waters.
