I have been a customer for two years first time an adequate appointment though it was a bit rushed. Most recent appointment I waited an hour after my appointment time to find out that they canceled my appointment instead of another patients and thought I was him after I kept asking about my appointment. Halfway through the appointment when I was finally seen the doctor left to take a phone call. During that time I was able to order contacts and was given a quote which I then paid after confirming the amount and the contacts I was ordering after the appointment. I was told I would get a call when they arrived. A month after I ended up calling to check as I had never received the call and after being transferred around and being told I might not even get a call back about them that day because they were busy I finally got someone to check and was called back and told they had been there waiting. At that time it was too late for me to go pick them up with my schedule. After that weekend I got a bill saying that I owed an extra $60. Confused I looked at the new bill and my receipt and found out they had misquoted me the price of my contacts significantly and that they had missed a box. I went in asked what the price change was. Was informed by the receptionist that she didnt know was gotten another girl who told me that they didnt charge me right and after explaining everything was told that well I just had to pay that extra despite being misquoted and never informed of any changes in charges. This wasnt an instance of insurance not covering something it was just them telling me the wrong thing which would have changed my purchase choice but I was never given the option. If you value your time or money I would not recommend going there.

Ive been a patient for three years. I was also rescheduled because of clerical error. Aside from the email reminders sent fot two weeks prior, I was even called the day before to confirm but on that day of appointment I was not even on the books. I became annoyed at their staff because they did not have my insurance information when i came in two days later. They were telling me I had to pay out of pocket. I was never rude to the staff but I became impatient with their lack of responsibility. I was called in to back room only to be dismissed as a patient by a very aggressive doctor whom has known me for three years. I told him I was concerned I had a serious problem with my eyes and his response was I should go to the emergency room at the hospital. Doctor Forshee, was someone I trusted. But I was naive. This authoritarian attitude toward a patient because of the office lack of good management is completely against the Hippocratic Oath that doctors seem to forget when they feel their authority can render a patient expendable since they have more than they can handle anyway.

Mt first negative experience happened when I went to fill my prescription and it was incorrect. They made everything right, but it was a huge inconvenience. This was about a year ago. I decided to give them another chance and tried to make an appointment for my husband to get an eye exam. The receptionist had me call our insurance to make sure we were covered at their office. I have been going there for years and our family has the same insurance. Why would she make me waste my time like this to check on insurance? Surely other Clarke County employees use their office? I called back after I verified that we were covered and tried to make an appointment for a simple eye exam and it was such a hassle I told her we would be going to another doctor. I guess they dont need the business.

My entire family are patients at 5 Points Eye Care and have been for several years. We cover the spectrum from difficult to easy prescriptions, girls who wear contacts way too long, a mom who doesnt take the good advice of Dr. Forche. We have always been treated well and with the knowledge that were really cared about as patients and as people. Ive never had health care providers who are so accessible. Staff go out of their way to help us. Nate and Katie make sure were completely happy with our glasses and are thorough in explaining our options. They have all gone above and beyond for my family repeatedly and I will never go anywhere else for our eye care. I highly recommend Five Points Eye Care.

My first impression was "Wow" the office was really clean and modern. Second thought was I hope they dont get mad because my babysitter called out on me so I have my 3 boys with me. But they made us all so comfortable. They had books and sugar free candy in each room in which the kids loved. They didnt rush me along and I am very thankful. Plus the doctor was very through. I had test done that I have never had done at a eye doctor before.

Our 4 year old is a patient of Dr. Brya. We are extremely pleased with the practice and feel like all of our questions are answered each time we come for a visit. We had a wonderful experience w Nate. He helped us choose the perfect glasses for our little girl that fit her face beautifully. Mommy and daddy are now going to be patients as well.

Dont let the guy Nate adjust your glasses unless you want to ruin it and spend the next whole week to get someone else to fix the mess he made. He knows nothing about glasses!!!!!!

I saw Dr Brya for my annual eye exam and have nothing but good to say. I did not have any long waits. Love my glasses, I get tons of compliments on them.
