I made an appointment in Elite Eye Cares Garden city, Mi office. My appointment was Jan 3,2008. My exam was great, one of the best eye exams I have ever recieved. However once it came time to pick out frames I was left alone and told that my insurace would only pay a certain amount of the frames, fine. However none of the frames had a price on them, and the two girls in the office were no where to be found! on i choose several pais of frames and finally got someones attention i found out only one of the frames i picked out were in my price range. (would have been easier with some help). After ordering the reflective coating and slime lenses I paid for my order and was told that it would be put through right away and would be ready in 5-7 buisness days. Fine. On the fith buisness day i was told they were not in yet, Ok not a big deal. on the Seventh day (Jan 13)I was told that my order was not put in until the Jan 4. (on a sunday!!) and that they would in by friday the 16th at the latest. It is now Friday the 16th and my glasses are still not in. I was told that they were actually not put in until the 5th, and they are expected any day now!! The Girls in the Office said they have no idea when they would be in, because a second company makes them. Im sorry shouldnt you be able to find out when an order is shipped so you can fofill your own contracts? I will never go back to this office again, and I strongly discourage anyone else from visiting either!

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Elite! Nicole, Amber, and the rest of the staff have always gone above and beyond my expectations. I discovered this facility 1.5- 2yrs ago, after going to other places for many years. They really take their time showing all of the choices in frames, and offering their honest feedback which myself, and my teenage daughters value. Keep up the great work! Donna Wells and family

My daughter went to Elite previously to get contacts. They told her she has astigmatism in each eye and the contacts cost ~ $400 per year. She went to Americas Best this week to get new contacts and told her doctor she has a astigmatism. The doctor took a look twice and told her she does not have astigmatism. Her new contacts cost $64 X 2 per year. Not too happy with Elite and will never go back.

Had a great experience. Been going there for 20 yrs. Insurance only covers so much and the scripts are sent to a lab which makes the glasses. They were helpfull and professional. I go back for adjustments. The doctor on Staff is courteous and professional. I have Davis Vision which has there own lab to make what I ordered. Very friendly MUCH BETTER THAN AN EXPERIENCE AT AMERICAS BEST
