I have severe anxiety about dentists and was sure Id never find a practice I could visit with regularity because of this (Ive visited other dentists in Jefferson). Then I visited Hometown Family Dentistry and dont plan to ever see a dentist other than Dr. David if I can help it. Her work is fantastic, she shows genuine care for her patients, actually listens to patient input, and most importantly she always makes sure youre comfortable. Dr. Amy David is an exemplary dentist! Everyone else in the office is of the same caliber, and frankly its mind blowing. The hygienists are wonderful (and thoughtfully gentle), and Ive never been in the office without being greeted with a genuine smile from everyone I see. Even if you dont live in Jefferson, its worth a drive to receive the level of care youll receive. My only regret is that I cant give more than 5 stars! Oh! Its also well worth noting the pricing is more than fair - a filling wont cost the same as a new Mercedes!

This weekend I developed a tooth abcess, it was very painful & swollen. I have no dental insurance & so I called several offices for pricing. I chose this office because of the affordable prices & the lady at the front office was kind & answered my questions before I could even ask them. They fit me in same day & it was a short wait to get me back for xrays. Unfortunately I had to be referred to an oral surgeon for the work but I am so pleased with my experience at this office. Everyone was friendly & helpful.

This office does a horrible job with their due diligence when comes to insurance claims. They expect the consumer to pay a deductible and 20% claim after the fact. They should of recieved a clear explanation of what is covered prior to taking a panoramic x-ray. They should know the Jefferson City Teachers insurance coverage being that their office is in the heart of Jefferson.

I hadnt been to the dentist in a couple of years. I have terrible anxiety and I absolutely dreaded this visit. I had THE most pleasant visit. Dr. Amy and her staff are seriously the nicest, most compassionate people. My only regret is not visiting them sooner. I will no longer dread dental appointments. My family will be patients for life!

Hometown Family Dentistry was fantastic! They were able to schedule an appointment with short notice, take care of my dental needs quickly, and they offered affordable options. This is all coming from someone who has never enjoyed dental visits. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Ill definitely be paying them another visit.
