An all around top notch office. You will be greeted by Nancy with a beautiful smile. If you get your teeth cleaned by Dana you are going to love it. But, if it is anyone else I am sure it will be the same. They are so in-tune to your needs and make sure you are comfortable in every way. I have great fear of dental so if they can make me comfortable I am sure they can you. Dr. Herr is the best, he explains everything to you and doesnt make you feel like a dummy if you dont understand. I have bad teeth and I have not seen a dentist in more than 5 years, they are taking care of my teeth and getting me back in good mouth health. I had 2 crowns done early this morning. Dr. Herr gave me call at close of office to make sure I was okay and to make me aware if I felt any discomfort to not hesitate to call. I was concerned about finance as I have no insurance but they have an in house plan that works well for me and my husband. Give this office a try if you are looking for a dentist with great employees. Heather, Candy, Evelyn all wonderful and if I missed anyone it is because they did not work on me but they all have lovely smiles and are very friendly. Cant always find an office that is 100% in every aspect but I think I have.

I dont know where to begin except to say, the office staff is very rude and unprofessional. I was uncomfortable from the first visit, so I requested my x-rays to be sent to a nearby dentist. I was told I could not pick them up they would send them digitally. When I got to the new dentist they had not received them, so they called to get them sent over. Two separate calls were made and NO answer, they left messages. They were in the office, by the way. So, one of the office staff called on her cell phone and BAM ,they answered. They were rude and said they wouldnt send them that day ,they could come and get them. They were too busy. It only takes a couple of minutes to do this. How immature to act because you lost another patient.

My experience at Life Point Dental was superior to any other dentist in this area. As a stay at home mother and full time student at the University of Georgia I was pleased with how quickly the staff was able to check me in, get my teeth cleaned and have me checked out feeling like a million dollars with my clean teeth. Not to mention my little one was able to get a prize from their wonderful “treasure chest.” I was so pleased that I referred my husband to their office. To my amazement I received I wonderful thank you note that had a five dollar gift card for referring my husband! I cannot wait to go back in six months for my next cleaning. To my knowledge this is the most gentle, proficient, and skillful Dentist Ive ever encountered.

Great service, people, and atmosphere! Its been about three years since the last time I went in; I was nervous and a bit embarrassed when I told the staff, but they were as nice and kind as could be! As for the painful things (which I did have to get done), Dr.Herr explained to me what he was doing so I wasnt in the dark, and always forewarned me when pain was coming. Even the scariest things (mouth shots! Ahh!) were a breeze compared to other dentists Ive had in the past; the initial pain subsided quickly and the injection itself was smooth. Overall, Dr.Herr is knowledgeable in what he does and has a great staff to back him up! I would definitely recommend him to those looking for an experienced, personable dentist.

Going to the dentist for dental work is never a fun day, however, when I go the Life Point in Jefferson, they make everything simple, easy, and painless no matter what. Ive had crowns, fillings and even teeth pulled, and just had a root canal at Life Point, and it was a pleasurable and good experience. The staff is flawless, the office is clean and neat, and I know that no matter what Im having done teeth wise, Im assured that all will go well and easy. They get you in and out in a timely manner and sometimes faster than you think. I highly recommend Life Point for anyone needing any dental work or even a simple cleaning. I only trust Dr.James Herr and his amazing staff for all my dental needs.

Arrived early but still had to wait until 20 minutes past appointment time. Had tooth extracted and was not prescribed antibiotics; extraction site became infected. I called to get prescription for antibiotics but would not do so without me coming in so they could check it out; was not understanding that I had already taken time off to have it extracted and was able to just take off whenever; the pain medicine prescribed caused me to have extremely itchy skin, to feel uncomfortably hot, and to have nausea and vomiting; would not prescribe new pain medicine without me coming in. This has not been a very pleasant experience and will be switching to a new dentist.

The staff at LifePoint Dental are amazing, especially Dr. Herr. He cares, not just about your teeth, but about your whole well-being. Even though Im a little "dental-phobic," I dont mind going to see this group of professionals, at all. (I still have to be put to sleep for really scary procedures. Im just a whimp.) But, Dr. Herr understands my weirdness, even though he has to send me to an oral surgeon. His staff is a well-oiled mechanism. They work together seamlessly. This makes the experience much less "harrowing." Do yourself a favor and do not hesitate to see Dr. Herr if you need a dentist.

I have been coming to this dentist office for almost 4 years now. I recently lost family insurance due to my age & still pay out of pocket to come to this dentist office. The staff are very friendly, my usual dental hygienist moved to another location but I love my new one, Dana! Shes so personal & I can tell she loves her job. Best place in Jackson County! Fantastic! Dr. Herr and his staff provide a great service. Ive never had a dentist office go over so much detail about my teeth, their health and exactly whats going on or going to happen before a procedure. Aside from the great work, he and his staff are always extremely friendly and create a real hometown atmosphere in the office. Cant say enough great things about everyone there.

Ive been going to Dr Herr since Dr Wright left. He and his staff are wonderful. Hes now moved into his new office and it is beautiful with a wonderful view from the chairs. It is also the most modern facility I have ever been in. Same day crowns are awesome. No giant blinding lights in my eyes. I have recommended him to other family members and they agree he is the best.

We recently moved into Georgia, and ended up at Life Point Dental on a recommendation from one of my wifes friends. I just had a little work done there, and i can say I have never seen a Dental team work as well as they do. I was shocked with how quickly I was done, without them sacrificing the level of care I received. Anyone would be foolish to go anywhere else.
