I usually dont write online comments but this time I had to and this is a very honest one. Background: I served in the military for 4 years, and I got out 2 years ago. Since 2012, I have suffered a horrible/CONSTANT upper back pain starting in my neck down to my right shoulder, and right arm. I have gone to multiple chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, pain management clinics- pretty much everywhere the military moved me- which is 4 different states. I have gone through unnecessary treatments I did not need to include spinal cortisone injections and different pain killers (never worked of course). I have done countless months of physical therapy (max 6 months), my previous doctors have taken MRIs and X-Rays. It wasnt until I found this facility that the root of my problem was FINALLY discovered. I have a herniated disc in my neck- and that is causing all these pain, neck stiffness, and muscle pain. To add, the VA/Army doctors misdiagnosed me 3 times: overuse of muscle; chronic back pain to trapezius muscle strain. They never treated my problem :( unfortunately. Service and Care: I called this facility and explained my problem. That day I couldnt even move my neck. I had to move my entire body to look to my right. The receptionist told me to come in the same day and I saw Dr. Peter and Dr. Racquel. I cried so much because I was in pain and I was angry because it has been a reoccurring pain for me for years. They showed me compassion and I walked out of there that day, not in so much pain, and moving my neck. Something I wasnt able to do in past 3 days before I walked in. Dr. Peter Bufano and Dr. Racquel DeCaro ordered some images and once they had the report they sat me down and displayed my MRI and X-Ray images. They pretty much gave me a basic anatomy lesson to build an understanding of how the body works first, and then they moved on to explain clearly what was causing my neck pain, what was wrong and why, and how it will be fixed; something a military or VA doctor shouldve seen in my MRI/X-rays images and helped me correct 3-4 years ago. I couldnt be more thankful I found this facility near my home, very convenient service hours, which ive found not too many facilities provide, since I work in NYC and come home late in the evening this works great for me. The receptionists are always very friendly, polite, willing to help as much as they can. They are very accommodating and always have a smile on their faces. Anytime I needed my appointment changed, they did anything to accommodate my schedule- overall great service. Another aspect I like about this facility is that they make a genuine effort to know you as a person, to know your name, and they know exactly who you are when you call or show up for your appointment. Unlike my previous experiences, which have been awful to say the least. The facility is always clean; nice music always playing; very positive environment- just want you need when you are exhausted and in pain. Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. Ms. Tamayo and Nicolette have the most amazing and caring hands. They are the most amazing massage therapists I have encountered. They really get into that muscle and try to break those knots. I fall asleep all the time lol. Dislikes: I said I would give an honest review so the one thing I dislike is the face cradles on the massage beds. They are too narrow for my preference. Other than that, I look forward to completing my physical therapy here and I am happy I finally know whats wrong with me and how I can improve and fix my problem :)

Ive never been to a friendlier facility! Each employee is not only friendly but knowledgeable and effective in their approach to treatment and rehabilitation. Chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, informational classes, and vitamin counseling services have me recommending them to anyone that needs help! Its no surprise that Ive seen them grow in the past year and it is to their credit that they have still maintained that special personal attention. Dr. Amna has uncanny skills at locating where referred pain is originating! Convinced I had something wrong with my front tooth, my sinuses, and headaches - I had already seen my gp and dentist with no real help except to see a tooth specialist and take antihistamines and advil. When I explained where the pain was located within 2 visits I was starting to get relief from all symptoms as she properly assessed the situation and treated me for TMJ. Along with overall spine health, she has helped alleviate my carpal tunnel syndrome and flare ups due to some spinal degeneration. Learning the ways to avoid improper posture and movement, and suggestions on supplement support has proved very helpful. I met Dr. Antonio several years ago when I had severe symptoms of plantar fasciitis that I just never found the time to seek treatment for. A friend recommended him and told me of the quick relief she was getting. While it did take some time to correct the problem that I had let go on for much too long, it was much faster than I thought. When I walked into that office I thought that I would never not feel that excruciating cramping in my foot. Through massage, and exercises prescribed by Dr. Antonio I am happy to say that pain never returned to the foot. If I feel like it might be flaring up, I know just what to do to relax it. Since then Ive seen Dr. Antonio whenever my gp recommends some physical therapy to help alleviate a problem that would benefit from physical therapy. I recommend him TOO much as he can book up fast! Always courteous, extremely professional, attention to detail, and ability to be able to improvise makes me forever grateful to the practice for his hiring. Given the time I could say something nice about every single person on staff that Ive had the pleasure to meet. There isnt a sour grape among them! I am so grateful that an all encompassing place like this exists. Dr. Pete. When I received the phone call that my son was injured playing football in high school and that he may need an xray I went straight to Dr. Pete. WHY? I trust him. I trust all the practitioners there. WHY ELSE? They are fast and efficient. My son had an appointment for an MRI and within 5 minutes of me leaving the MRI, we had a phone call with the results along with a recommendation for a specialist. His pcl was torn, his acl and mcl completely torn. My son needed re-hab, and pre-operative strengthening. He got the best care from Dr. Antonio with Athletic Trainer, John Baker right by his side, helping, encouraging and inspiring better results. John was able to observe the surgery first hand and didnt have to but stayed along my sons side through post op before we even got to see him. What a kind, caring man he is. My entire family is so grateful for each and everyone one of the employees at this facility. They all play a part in the unique, familial experience at being treated in a wellness facility.

They listen to you and thats so important to me. How I ended up at Old Bridge Spine and Wellness, and why I have sent my family there. Back in 2014 i injured my back in a cross fit class. It hurt pretty bad but after seeing my primary dr and my orthopedic, both thought it to be a pulled muscle and sent me for PT. I live right across the street from Old Bridge Spine and Wellness and decided to try them. When I first went in Dr. Pete and Dr. Antonio sat with me to discuss my pain. After that, I worked with Dr. Melissa and Dr. Monica on my next 2 visits. My pain immediately got much worse after my first 2 sessions and I told them. Dr. Pete didnt hesitate at all, he listened to how I described my pain and said Ive been doing this for years, that doesnt sound like a pulled muscle and he sent me for an MRI. The next day we had the results of the MRI and I had a compression fracture to my T8. They immediately altered my therapy and tailored one for me that helped me with that pain. Over the next 5-6 months they worked with me 2-3 times a week until I was strong enough to go back to my cross fit class. I cant express how thankful I am for all the support. I know you may say well its a business, they are supposed to work with you, thats what they are paid to do. From personal experience I can tell you it goes beyond that at Old Bridge Spine and Wellness. They listen to you. They dont assume because they are the Doctors and you are the patient that they know more about how you feel than you do. They listen to you describe your pain and adjust how they help you based on the description you provided. Recently, I have had a lot of pain in my foot with plantars fasciitis and pain in my Achilles tendon. Im back at OBSW working with Dr. Samantha. And just like my previous experience Dr. Sam has listened to me and has made adjustments to my sessions based on what I tell her my pain is like and where Im feeling it. She genuinely cares about helping reduce my pain, shes kind and makes the experience of PT enjoyable. How many people can say that about their doctors? In fact, every employee at OBSW shows such kindness and professionalism. All the therapists, chiropractors, assistants, trainers, and administrative staff all learn your name and know why you are there. They all asked how youre doing. I went for 5-6 months in 2014, when I returned 2 years later in July of 2016, everyone that I had known from my first time at OBSW had remembered me and asked, "Hows your back, hows your cross fit class?" I have sent family members to OBSW, my ex husband and father both for their back issues. As well as my brother who was struggling with a problem with his piriformis muscle while in the academy this year. They all feel the same way I do, they are impressed with how kind, courtesy, professional and caring the staff are. I would recommend OBSW to anyone who is suffering from pain. There is no hesitation for me. Im very thankful to have found this place and for the staff who are so dedicated, but special thanks to Dr. Pete, Dr. Antonio, Dr. Monica, Dr. Melissa, Dr. Sam, Dr. Matt, Dr . Dan, Jennifer, both Vinnys, Sean, Brianna, Rita, John and on and on...really you are all top of the line!
