Almost 300 for an ear infection! They also tell me to come back in two weeks and make sure that it worked- which they had me back on another pet to recheck and no charge - but then charged me 70 bucks to ratchet up the already expensive charge. They called me, not the other way around. This wasnt an appointment I thought we needed- but THEY called and said they wanted it. If they were going to charge a whole new appointment, the customers should call to schedule those- not them insisting. This should be included in the first bill then. NOT surprising people later with a trick appointment fee. Especially when not too long ago I had to come back for a follow up and that was free. (The manager later claimed thats because my cat was a surgical follow-up vs whatever follow-up looking at my dogs ears and saying they look fine is. I knew that already!) I also found a stray that I was trying to help and it was nearly a grand. I apparently bought someones vacation this year. WAY overpriced. Nice enough vet, but they shouldve told me there would be another charge when they hadnt before. I signed the receipt and left and could hear the receptionist laughing that I was switching vets. Really professional. When I called to talk to the manager she laughed again. How is it funny to surprise people with charges? Way to put a nail in the coffin lady.

I adopted a cat who was a rescue cat from Tennessee. I named her Lilly and she is about 1 1/2 years. We discovered she had some health and behavior issues. She became ill 2 days after coming home. My regular vet said they couldnt see her for 4 days, due to scheduling and said I could bring her in as an emergency. That would have cost a fortune! I didnt want her to have to wait, so I found and called Pet Nation. They fit her in so she would not have to wait another day in pain. Dr. Sue Nation was gentle and thorough during Lillys exam. Answering all my questions. Pet Nation has been there for Lilly and me! Dr. Nation got her health back on track and has been helping us with her behavior problems. Dr. Sue has personally been in contact with me almost everyday, to make sure Lilly is well and that everything is working out okay. She is so dedicated to her patients! Im so glad we found her! Her prices fair and her care top notch. Give her a try! You wont regret it.

I have been with Pet Nation for 12 years. During that time my cats have had the best of care. Twice Dr. Lewis has saved my Tiggers life. The first time I brought him in 10 minutes before closing and she performed emergency surgery. He was only a couple hours from death. Then Dr. Nation stayed with him late until he was stable. The second time I brought Tigger in he had quit eating, stopped drinking and was extremely weak. Dr. Lewis knew immediately what to do and with her great care and that of the staff Tigger made it again. Every thing is the best. I consider the price of Pet Nation services to be fair. People who complain about prices dont understand the expense of a vet clinic. Plus Dr. Nation and Dr. Lewis are both doctors, excellent doctors, deserving of a fair wage. You get what you pay for. Pet Nation has excellent support staff. For my moneys worth I will always go to Pet Nation.

My dog was limping and we took him to the U of M urgent care (everything nearby was closed since it was Sunday) and they suggested it was just a shoulder injury. Things got worse and I am so thankful that we have been taking him to Pet Nation. They got him in immediately but originally were unable to find a cause to his illness. After taking extra tests and a few extra visits Dr. Marie Nation was able to pin point a rare illness. Once we found out what was wrong, we were able to start treatment. Marie is always checking in on us to see how he is doing. All of the staff remember my dog every time we are in and are genuine and truly love the animals. Sure, it is a little pricey, but you are paying for an amazing service. I would strongly recommend going to Pet Nation.

Marie Nation and the Pet Nation staff have been wonderful to all my dogs. After a really bad experience with another local vet. She was able in one visit to put my poor allergy ridden dog on the road to recovery. Instead of just treating the symptoms of the allergy she figured out what was causing the allergy now we avoid those things. My dog is happier and healther. Prices are lower than the other local vet. I was referred by a great friend and Im glad I came! Its a drive for me from Minnetonka, but its worth it and I wont use another vet unless I move across the country! The whole staff is friendly and knowledgable and Dr. Lewis made my collies and my time there as stress free as possible. Their prices are great and my puppy isnt anxious at all to go see them. Heartworm prevention appointment this spring 2016 for a 26lb dog costs $191 !! The actual 6 pills cost $42 rest was to see the Vet, annual checkup which you need to get heartworm prevention. I was shocked. Will have to look for a more reasonably priced vet. They are very caring towards the animals, but priced to high. Glad I didnt bring my other dog in also.

Several months ago I brought my animals to this facility. The staff were really nice and the place was very clean. However, the prices were outrageous. We were able to find good veterinarian care for less than half of the price. It would be a better idea if the clientele could get an estimate before the exams or procedures.

The vet and tech were great! We are new to the area and my cat was very ill. It was his time to go to heaven. The vet did not want him to suffer any more. They stayed late and because we had a malfunctioning GPS they helped us by staying on the phone and gave us step by step directions.
