Well I missed an appt. due to my husband getting back lack from his month long stint in GA. I tried to call my cell died, they refuse to remove the fee, and in the process wont see me until I can pay that. I am diabetic and I am out of all my medications, they wont even write me a perscription. One member of the office staff told me to talk to the office manager. I called her for two weeks, the first week I dont know what the deal was I never got a return phone call (which happens A LOT in this office) the next week she was out of the office due to a family emergency. I make an appt. when I know shell be back. I walk in she says no, we dont ever waive the fee. Now the office staff told me to talk to her, maybe shell waive the fee. After getting that news I approach the other office girl, she says oh they never waive fees, "not even if someone in their family dies", and when I point out that it was THIS STAFF that told me to come in and talk to her, she stammered and stuttered. I cant actually talk to the docter unless I pay the fees, and apparantly the office manager is the end all say all. So, because I dont have enough money to pay a bogus bill so that someone can ride around in their nice car, I have no meds. Its good to see how much docters care about their patients. No ONE even tried to help me, they didnt offer me any assistance, maybe take payments or something? nothing. Thank you doctors, for leaving this diabetic woman with no meds for 130.00. I hope you feel good about yourselves.

I get that mistakes happen and sometimes you just have to go with the flow. My wife has been waiting for a doc appointment for three days. On the day of the appointment, the rude staff called her "old number" to cancel. Yet earlier in the week they called her updated number to tell her the appointment was on Wednesday. So I go in after my wife is upset to talk and see if I can figure this out. First the girl at the desk was just baffled as to why I wanted to speak to a manger and second I caught them in a lie after I explained the cell number truck they tried to. Due to the staff over booking appointments, the doctors not holding them accountable and just one doctor coming in on a day when they are overbooked just shows that this office is run by people who dont care about customer service. Just look at all the past reviews. So because of this I said the hell with Tricare prime and went to standard and my wife already has an appointment with a very doctor who probably didnt cheat his way through med school.

I once reviewed Gateway Medical Associates as reliable and caring. Unfortunately, since then, this practice has deteriorated considerably. Theyre unable to keep staff due to a poor/stressful working environment. Once youve begun to build a relationship with a doctor/nurse practitioner, theyll find better working conditions elsewhere, and youll be forced to begin the process all over again. At the time of my last review, they were very reliable at returning phone calls. Since then, your best bet is to physically stop by the office to make an appointment, or continually call until you reach someone, because if you leave a message, its highly unlikely youll hear back from them. Im currently in the process of finding a better practice that will actually care about the needs and concerns of their patients, and not simply "how much money can be pulled in each day."

Rude staff, doctor doesnt care that is business is ran poorly, poor management, impossible to get a referral, the list goes on. My experience WAS AWFUL. Thankfully I dont live in Clarksville anymore, so hes not even an option. If you value your time, because this office sure doesnt care about it, CHOOSE ANOTHER DOCTOR. I sat there for 3 hours on a friday, the doctor decided at 5:15 he had another personal appointment outside the office to attend too, and just decided not to wait on me. The experience got even worse after that, but I really dont feel like wasting my time describing it step by step. Im now in NC and my doctor has been FANTASTIC.

I have been with him for a while, and my last three visits were very bad. I had appointments, but had to wait three hours to be seen??!!!! When I asked the staff how much longer, they gave me an attitude and were very snappy to me. Just plain rude.... Today I had an appointment and once again I waited three hours, not acceptable. His excuse then was that his staff didnt show up. NOT my problem!!!!!! Wonder what they would do if I showed up three hours late???? Not to mention the bugs they had crawling last time I was there. Would not recommend him at all!!!

I was a patient at Gateway and the doctor I had left the practice. Trying to get a referral was like pulling teeth. I had to constantly call and half the time their was no referral nurse. Trying to get them to answer the phone FORGET IT! I was trying to get my medical records for my new doctor which should have been free according to my new doctor and I have had the run around. No one returns phone calls and I am going to have to go there in person to try to talk to someone. I am so happy I left.

He schedules appt. Starting at 9 am but he works elsewhere til 1pm. The earliest he ever gets there is 1:30 or 2, if he even comes in. The average wait is 5 or 6 hours. So very unacceptable!!!
