Must say, Ive never been one who is afraid of the dentist and yet, without dental insurance, seeing one became a financial concern. So I jumped at the Groupon when it became available; after all, she had some good reviews (possibly written by friends?!) My visit to this office was poor from start to finish. They werent happy about the Groupon as I suspect many places arent (so why do they offer it? Not sure) and some girl in street clothes - did she even work there? - sat beside me, attempting to be social, but actually said to me, "you dont brush your teeth?" I looked at her like she had two heads. I obviously brush my teeth. Do I floss regularly? Not so much. I told her so. She pressed on as to what type of toothbrush I use - soft, I said, now concerned at the prospect of being judged over my life choices. Good! Soft is good. Brush them before breakfast, after breakfast, and then at least two to three more times; Basically, you must brush 12 out of the 24 hours in a day or dont bother going in for routine dental care. After this little bit of sunshine left, they came in, took some x-rays and then used some camera type thing to put giant 8x10s of my teeth up on a computer monitor. Admittedly, your teeth after having skipped a routine cleaning (and when displayed on a movie theater screen) do not gleam the way they once did, but they were by no means akin to anything Ive seen in books or horror films. I must say how interesting it was that they chose to leave the 8x10s up on the screen for anyone passing by to see; as if Id always wanted my mouth to become the poster gal for skipping a cleaning. When the doctor finally came in, she was actually very nice but it really couldnt make up for the horrors Id been through just moments ago. We made brief small talk, yet all i could think was that she was silently judging my lack of a steady flossing routine. She left after about 5 minutes and then an assistant returned a few moments later with a bill the size of the U.S. constitution, quoting me $1800 for a peridontal cleaning series, invisalign, and 4 cavities. Naturally I flashed them my pearly whites before walking out the door and making an appointment with another dentist who said I needed a general cleaning, and could not find a single cavity. My advice - RUN! Dont groupon, dont pay out of pocket, and for gods sake, dont show up their without a soft tip toothbrush. Youve been warned.

I was never big into visiting the dentist. A couple of years ago, I decided to take a chance via a Groupon special and made the appointment for a cleaning with Dr. Martos. I was so impressed now almost five years, I am a regular patient. The first thing I can tell you is that once youre there, you are treated like family. Every employee is friendly, courteous, and serviceable. I was terrified during my first cleaning, I hadnt visited a dentist in a very long time. The dental hygienist was understanding, gentle, and quick! About two years after that, I developed Wisdom Teeth issues (everyones fear!). Dr Martos walked me through and it was easy and of course, gentle! My recovery time was quick, as well. For those who are about numbers, dont worry. The insurance and billing process was seamless. No issues, whatsoever. Since then, I recommend her every chance I get. Currently, I decided to get braces again but was on a budget. She was able to work an affordable plan for me and I was able to splurge on Invisalign. The process; again, super quick, easy, and convenient! The office is clean, very hygienic, and efficient. Dr. Martos has many years of experience, is open minded to new methods of treatment for every scenario (actively engaging in different seminars, workshops, and courses to stay up to date in the field), and genuinely wants to make a difference in her patients. I cant wait until my baby is of age to visit a dentist... off to Dr. Martos she will go! :-)

From the moment we arrived at the dentist office I was made to feel at home. I was absolutely petrified to go to the dentist. Between everyday stress and just plain panic I was not sure I would be able to get this done. The staff all of the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were kind took the time to explain every last thing to me and soothe my nerves at every turn. Once I met with Dr. Martos I was so very impressed. She was wonderful, she was kind and patient. She took the time to explain the process and even chatted with me to soothe my nerves and put me at ease. I have a list of allergies and they were careful to abide by these even ensuring they changed their gloves to non-latex. Then it was time for the work to be done an extraction. I never even felt her hands in my mouth she was swift and gently and poof! I was done. Dr. Martos is the Dentist with Angel hands. Although those with faith know that these are gifts handed down from above. My gratitude to everyone who assisted me and took care of me. I recommend Dr. Martos to everyone my husband is going next month and I feel at ease about his visit too! If you need a dentist and are in her area make an appointment, dont be afraid they are all wonderful and Dr. Martos is GREAT!

Dr. Martos has done a tremendous job fixing my teeth, she is without a doubt an excellent doctor. I used to hate my dentist visits until I made the switch from my previous dentist and became her patient. I even enjoy coming in periodically for cleanings because the hygienist is so attentive and careful, she makes every cleaning run very smooth. The staff is amazing, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, they all greet me with a big smile and a hug as soon as i step foot in their office. Ive trusted Dr. Martos to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth, amongst other procedures. Now Im more than half way through with invisalign, I cannot be happier with the results so far, my teeth have already shifted tremendously, im very excited to see the final results once Im done wearing all my aligners. If you need to undergo big procedures such as extractions, crowns, root canals, etc., and youre worried about payment because your insurance wont fully cover it, you may apply for CareCredit at Dr. Martos office and qualify for a monthly payment plan. Theyre also flexible with appointments, I like scheduling my visits for 5:00pm after work and Dr. Martos has always been there. Highly recommend anyone to visit Dr. Martos office!

I have been going to Dr Martos since 2005 and she has always been very professional and very helpful. After not visiting a dentist for over 14 years, I walked into her office without an appointment, and asked her to please look at my fractured tooth because I was in so much pain. She cleaned the fractured tooth, relieved the pain, and put in a temporary filling until I could sit down for a root canal. The next week she scheduled me for a root canal and did a fantastic job. I wish I would have listened to her advice to get a filling on another molar and suffered another gaping cavity which needed yet another root canal. Last week she took me in and did a fantastic root canal and crown. I can finally eat with both sides of my mouth and I have no discomfort whatsoever!! I will always be grateful for the way she took care of my 2 root canals and crowns. She is a wonderful and knowledgeable dentist who will always have me as a patient. I will not fear the dentist ever again. *They also have a great staff of Dental Hygienists who performed my deep cleaning and my regular cleanings since I started taking better care of my teeth.
