I will never go there again. Not only did I have to wait FOREVER to be seen by a doctor, but was rushed out of there once I was finally seen. Clearly just want your money! I walked in to be treated for poison ivy only to be told that I had some type of Candida of the skin and nails when that was COMPLETELY INCORRECT. I spent $136 for nothing and a misdiagnosis. The doctor prescribed me cream to treat the so called Candida which only made my poison ivy 10 times worse!! I called them to let them know the medication was not working and that I did not have a "yeast infection" on my skin! She did not listen to me and then argued with me about it when I told her exactly how it happened and where I got the poison ivy from. Then they tried to prescribe me Diflucan, which is a one shot pill to cure yeast infections. I said, this is not a yeast infection!! Again, I was not being heard. I went to the Fast Track clinic which is affiliated with Anne Arundel Medical Center. I was treated a million times better, the doctor asked me questions and listened to what I had to say. She examined me and clearly stated that this is not a "yeast infection" on my skin and that is was in fact poison ivy!!! What the heck! She prescribed me a 6 day Prednisone pack to knock this out. Unreal!! I will never recommend anyone to go to Patient First. And they should change their name too! First my ass!

My son slipped off the counter while brushing his teeth with my husband two nights ago. This was at 8pm and we decided to go to patient first instead of the hospital as I was dreading long wait times with my 3 year old who was already ready for bed. We arrived there around 8:30, the gentlemen at the counter, his name may have been Devante, was prompt and courteous. We checked in and didnt even have to sit down before a kind, friendly provider greeted my son and I. She brought my son a sticker, she could tell he was nervous. We hadnt waited more than 10 minutes before Dr Faranak came in to examine my son . She ordered an XRay where the technician made my son feel really comfortable . After examining the X-ray Dr Faranak told me his clavicle was broken, and gave me a referral for an Orthopaedist for the next day. We left by 10pm ( we were only there a total of an hour and half) the doctor even called me back the day to see how my son was doing !! Everyone is just so sweet there, Im sorry I didnt get everyones name to commend them. Providers have an unbelievable amount of stress to deal with taking care of people all day long and are not commended enough especially when they put their hearts into helping others. So thankyou for all that you do its appreciated.

If this review was based on convenience, atmosphere, and front desk staff, I would rate this place is 5! But alas, I had to interact with Faranak Moghadam who is quite simply AWFUL. She rushed my wifes diagnosis then told her she would can write a prescription for an antibiotic. My wife asked if there was another option given that she was breastfeeding our 5 month old and the specific prescribed drug would not allow her to breastfeed for 2 weeks! Dr. Moghadam told my wife that what she prescribed was the only option. Being a microbiologist familiar with antibiotics and having a general sense of medicine, my wife did not take the pills (which were conveniently offered by the Patient First Pharmacy). Seeking second and third opinions we were told by multiple other doctors and lactation specialists that they were many other antibiotic options that can be taken while breastfeeding. Why wouldnt Dr. Moghadam prescribe these instead because they were not available in their pharmacy (SURPRISE SURPRISE). Do yourself a favor and avoid this heartless "doctor".

Absolutely awful. They were quick to see me but it was also 10 in the morning on a Monday. The technician who took my vitals was very nice and sweet. The doctor on the other hand, who I might mention is also the medical director, Faranak Moghadam, M.D., was incredibly rude. I came in for a tick bite after showing signs and she dismissed me completely even after feeling my what was 2 (now 5) pea size swollen lymph nodes. She MIS"disagnosed" me with "viral syndrome". They also failed to tell me my monocytes were 16.5 when normal is 0.0-7.3 and they ran a mono test (which are normally inaccurate) and failed to tell me I might have mono. She was very dismissive and once again I feel failed by a doctor when I know my body best and its not just a "cold". They also failed to inform me thatll bloodwork showed Im anemic and I had other stuff that was high. The "doctor" said my bloodwork was normal. "Normal" my ass.

My fiance went in for a motorcycle accident 48 hours ago. He was x-rayed for his hand and has a lacartion under his left foot. The physician told him that she, Couldnt take care of a toe repair and he would have to go to the ER room. So he left with a serious lacartion on his foot and a cast for his arm. Little did we know, this morning 2 physicians in the ER of AAMC told him, Why didnt they stitch it at Patient First? and confirmed they shouldve been able to stitch it there and he was shocked. Now we are paying two medical bills. Were filing a complaint. Oh and just a heads up, we called Patient First after he stitched it, which took all of 10 minutes, and asked, Do you do stitches? Yea, we do. But they left out the part of, If the doctor feels like it. Obviously not living up to the name, Patient First.

Very nice and clean facility. Walked in at 9:30am, set up as new patient, and called back for vitals and to get in a room before I even had time to figure out which HGTV show was on in the waiting room. Very nice medical assistant took vitals and gave quick description of Patient First as a 1-stop-shop. I was in for eye swelling, so she brought in the "eye cart" for the doctor. 15 min wait in the room, very nice doctor came in, diagnosed, prescribed medicine, filled prescription, went over instructions. Checked out and left by 10:30am. So much better than my prior experiences with the Right Time in Waugh Chapel (just awful, hours waiting even with appointment). I will definitely be returning to the Patient First in Annapolis even though it is twice as far away from home.

Faranak Moghadam shouldnt even be called an M.D. She is the worst doctor I have had. She misdiagnosed me when I came in for a tick bite with awful symptoms. She seemed dismissive and told me I had a viral syndrome which is essentially just a cold. 2 months later, I still have the tick bite and have been diagnosed with lymes disease. If she wasnt such a bad doctor, I couldve taken just 2 pills had she caught it and realized I knew what I was talking about. Now I have to do a long course of very strong antibiotics and more blood work. Avoid her at all costs if you want good treatment. Also avoid Patient First and their facilities all together. Youre better off going to the cvs minute clinic than you are here.
