We were very disappointed with Dr. Gatdulas office. Here are our numerous concerns: The office building is very old and one of the patient beds has a tear in it. We scheduled an appointment for 1:30, however they take their lunch break from 12:30-1:30 so we had to wait outside in the cold with our newborn until 1:35 when the nurse showed up and banged on the door. Dr. Gatdula has PA students training with her, but we were never asked if it was OK for them to examine our daughter or give her a shot. At the 2 month appointment when my daughter got many vaccinations, we were not given all of the CDC informational handouts and the nurse and doctor did a terrible job explaining that multiple vaccines were in one shot. When my husband asked a clarifying question, the nurse rolled her eyes at him. At the appointment before the vaccinations, Dr. Gatdula recommended that we give our daughter Tylenol before we came for the shots. When I called the office to ask about the correct dosage, I was advised to give my daughter the old dosage for baby Tylenol. When I researched it myself, I found the proper dosage online. Upon further research I found that it is no longer recommended to give babies Tylenol before vaccinations because it could reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine. Dr. Gatdula had not heard of this new research that was published in The Lancet in 2009. Finally, during the middle of one of our appointments the nurse came in and started asking the doctor questions about another patient and what medication she should take. This is a clear HIPAA violation to talk about another patient in front of us. Overall I was very disappointed with the service we received at this office. I do not recommend this practice. Her practices are outdated and potentially dangerous.

My two kids have been seeing Dr. Gatdula for 15 years now. She my be a little hard to understand like the other review said. But 95% of the time I have no problem understanding her. She does not have a problem with repeating what you said. Besides most good doctors are hard to understand, their minds are going a million miles a minute. And for the lady that answers the phones I think she is amazing,I really dont know how she does her job. I have never had a problem with her. When my children go to see Dr Gatdula they feel comfortable and she answers all our questions. She is very loving to the children. One time my daughter fell and hit her head hard. The bump was BIG. We knew if we went to the hospital there would be a hours of waiting. So we walked right in to see Dr. Gatdula and she saw her as soon as we walked in. The hospital is right across the street if she still needed to go. And before you parents start fliping out saying OMG she should of had an MRI done. Please dont even talk cause you must be new at the whole mom thing. I am not stupid I would never put my kids at risk. I know the difference from bump and a concussion. They hit their head a lot.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. My step-daughter has been going to her since she was a child (as chosen by biological mother), and she has HATED me and my husband. Apparently, shes friends with the biological mom, so it was a problem that we had majority custody. She did everything in her power to make my husband look bad. If we took my daughter in for a sickness (i.e. fever, cold, aching/sore body part) that she came with from her mom, she would tell us that it didnt warrant a visit. When my step-daughters mom takes her in for a SCRATCH claiming it was a dog bite, they call the cops. Dr. Gatdula and her rude receptionist, Tracy, take it a step further and called my husband to argue with him and TELL HIM what happened (like they were there). Tracy refused to give my husband any information on the report they filed against him and told him to go call 911. Smh. Even my step-daughter was confused as to why they made a trip to the hospital. Lol. THANK YOU, OFFICE OF DR. GATDULA FOR FURTHER SHOWING YOUR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM!! Needless to say, I hope this office finds some courses on how to be professional and NEUTRAL in all custody situations and do their jobs!

My 2 children have been going to see Dr Gatdula since birth. They are 13 & 14. We find her to be a very compassionate, skilled physician. Her & her staffs ability to handle several patients at the same time, while providing excellent care to her patients, is amazing. It is a busy office but she has competent staff there to support her. We had the occassion to experience a serious medical problem with one of our kids, having been rushed to BWMC early in the morning, & she handled care afterwards in the office upon hospital discharge. She arranged for consultation services & testing to be provided by Johns Hopkins asap, calling herself, completing the appropriate referrals, giving us medical info on the condition, as well as emotional support for what the future will hold for our child. Weve seen many specialists, thanks to her direction, that support her work as their Pediatrician. Her office is conveniently located & easy to make appointments with. A busy doctor is a sign of a well-loved, trusted, and appreciated professional. She is such a benefit to our community. I highly recommend her to young families.

Dr. Gatdula is our family pediatrician for all eight of our children. She is very loving, compassionate, and professional. Her staff is always positive and equally concerned for our familys wellness. When our youngest son was 9 months old and released from the hospital prematurely diagnosed with a viral infection that causes upper respiratory problems. At his follow up appointment Dr. Gatdula advised us to take him back immediately to get xray for possible pneumonia...thank GOD she did because his throat closed up and he had to be immediately entibated and remained in the hospital PICU for 18 days. She called us regularly to see how he was and concerned equally how my husband and I were during that stressful time. I thank GOD for her and her years of service to the medical profession which go above and beyond what is being turned out today as doctors. Patients usually have less than 15 minutes with their doctor but Dr. Gatdula takes time to hear concerns and lends solutions. Thank you Dr. Gatdula for being one of a kind and the best pediatrician!

Dr. Gatdula is one of the best. Both of my children seen her. My daughter, after turning 18 asked Dr. Gatdula to still see her as a patient. My daughter and son love Dr. Cris! If anyone claims this pediatrician is not loved by parents and children they probably just dont have the money to pay for her services or perhaps they have not listened and obeyed the Doctors orders when it comes to their children and diagnosis/remedy. Also, when my granddaughter was sexually molested by her bio-father, Dr. Gatdula put the rest of her patients on hold at her office and went directly to the emergency room to check on her patient that was in desperate need of her skills. Another time we needed Dr. Gatdula was when my granddaughter was only 2 weeks old and was in much discomfort. We went to the emergency room and Dr. Gatdula made sure she was admitted and test were run to make sure it wasnt a more serious problem then stomach flu. She is by far among the best pediatricians in the Glen Burnie, Maryland area.
