The only reason Im wasting my time writing this is so no other parent will put their kid through what Ive been through in the last 2-3 months. In February I took my daughter here for a cleaning and because my daughter had pain in her mouth. We were told my daughter need a lot of work done to her mouth . Before I let them do the serious work I first let them do a few fillings to see how it would go. First of all they dont like when a parent goes back with their child . But brilee refused to go back until I went. So during the filling my daughters numbing medication wore off and she began to scream and panic saying it hurt . They wouldnt stop until she got choked . Its been hell since then to get brilee into a dentist because shes scared. Well we finally went to a dentist today and I now know why my child has been in so much pain. My daughter had a cap put over a tooth .. but the tooth isnt completely covered with the cap. Shes had a pocket of a broke tooth in her mouth for two months. When I called to tell them about her pain a day or two after her surgery they said there is no way she is still hurting . I am beyond upset at the work that was done to my childs mouth. The fact that I my child is traumatized by this dr has lead her to be in pain for 2 months till I could finally talk her into going to see another dentist. Before you let this dr touch your childs mouth get another opinion first!

Very rude and unprofessional staff. Apparently they are not accustomed to parents thinking for themselves because they simply could not handle me not instantly complying with their wishes. I wanted to accompany my four year old into the room for him to have a cavity repaired and a cap placed, as this was his first dental procedure. The staff stood in the doorway blocking my way and lied to me, saying that HIPPA laws prevent me from going in the room. I told them I know thats not true and pushed my way past to follow my child. Staff was very rude the rest of the appointment. The work they did was also faulty and needed to be fixed by another office afterwards; they messed up the filling on my sons front teeth and the cap they placed fell off shortly after the visit, causing my son to swallow it.

We love this place. I bring both of my kids Dominic and charity and we have yet to have an experience where the kids are too scared to come back. All of the dental hygienist and especially the doc are extremely thoughtful, gentle, professional, and just good at what they do. We left a childrens dentist and came here and I was much more impressed with the office personnel and the dental hygienist as well as a doctor. I believe this is one of the best places in town to take your kids for a dental visit.

Ive been going to the same dentist for 30 years and recently decided to go to Columbia Family Dentistry. Dr. Wilburn was wonderful as were her awesome staff. They love to have fun and make there patients feel comfortable and loved while also being extremely professional. I would recommend anyone I know to go and visit Dr. Wilburn and her sweet staff!!!

I drive an hour and fifteen minutes and pass roughly thirty or forty other offices to get to Columbia Family Dentistry. It’s well worth the commute. If you live in the Columbia area, lucky you! Dr. Wilburn and her delightful staff are close to home. When you go, here are a couple tips: 1) Ask about “Amos”; 2) They love it when you bring doughnuts! ☺

They pride themselves in their knowledge of complete dentistry and can meet your basic dental needs as well as have had advanced training in esthetics, TMJ and rejuvenation of worn smiles! Dr Lauren has received advanced training from the renowned Dawson Academy and I have referred my own patients to her!

First trip to the dentist was a success! Staff was friendly and helpful. I feel like they are actually trying to care for my teeth rather than making some money off of unnecessary work. I have been going to the same dentist for my entire life. I recently started coming here and I absolutely loved it! My hygienist Leah Lindsay was so nice and made going to the dentist not so dreadful! Everyone here is so friendly and open, making it a pleasant office to go to!

Dentist doesnt show up until 9 so if you ask for first patient appointment at 8am you will wait an hour. Then she will leave you and run in between patients. Ive been there several hours before. I finally got tired of the same song and dance and found a better dentist.
