I feel Dr. Elizabeth Springer is the best! In 2001, she found the smallest mole on my leg and proceeded to tell me she felt I should have it removed along with 4 others at that time. Wouldnt you know the test results came back as melanoma. In my eyes, I would not be here without her expertise in finding this for me and helping me choose all the other doctors that I needed to get rid of this cancer. I have followed her from Michigan City, Indiana to Valparaiso, Indiana. I will continue to choose my insurance plans based on always knowing that she will be my Doctor. I worry about the day that she chooses to retire because I do not know who I would trust with my life. Her nurses are also the best. #1 Cheryl has been with her since Michigan City, Indiana and I am always so happy to see her when I come for my yearly checkups. Another Cheryl joined the staff 10 years ago and she has always done her best to make me comfortable. It is always a nervous time for me when I come for my follow-up visits but with all their help I leave smiling but anxious until I get my test results. I just saw all of them today, had a few removed, and now wait praying that I dont hear the "C" word again. Thank You all for taking such great care of me always. Deborah Zmich La Porte, Indiana

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I was new in town looking for a dermatologist. On my first visit the Dr. Springer spent less then 5 minutes in the room with me. Whenever I call to obtain a refill, I always have to make a appointment despite the fact that all I want is a refill, since the medication is working. The nurse states that Dr. Springer likes to re-exam the patient (to change meds, go over patient history, etc.) prior to prescription refill, but when I came in, again the doctor spent less than 5 minutes examining me and prescribed the same meds. You can never just call in a refill, like at all other doctor offices. All they want is your money to charge for a office visit, but when you got to the office you get a non-thorough exam, long wait times (I waited over an hour for my appointment even though I was on-time and only one of two people in the lobby, and I watched as three other patients arrived late for their appointment and proceeded to go ahead of me). Additionally, Debbie the receptionist was rude and constantly sighed under her breath as I questioned her about my case. This office does not look out for the patients best interest. They only care about your $$$ while offering average at best doctor patient care and poor customer service.

My daughter and I saw Dr Springer and I was very pleased with her service she knows what she is doing shes quick but is great at what she does. We will continue to see Dr. Springer .Staff is friendly.
