I recommend nobody come here because you will always see Nurse Practitioners only and it not going to be Dr.Andrea Hayes lol you will never meet her and the wait time is very long which the smart old front desk clerk is very rude has A nasty attuide with the blonde hair and she act like she been there for centuries lol she will charge you $25.00 no show fee if you cant make it to your appointment lol again she thinks that office belong to her lol so they can keep on sending me this crazy fraud bill of $25.00 lol again Since the last time I seen Mrs.Williams in 2013 for my type 2 diabetes and again I was over weight when I was seeing her (275 pounds) but since than, my mind has been telling me to get away from this evil, I have loss over -120 pounds and free of type 2 diabetes and now I see A wondering Doctor now at St.Thomas so I thank Dr.Bakatke for pushing my success in life....They just want your insurance money and want you to die on failure due to their decvieful ways... Stay Away from this clinic. You will see, because overall, I have 12yrs experiences of dealing with so many different nurse practitioner faces and nurses leaving from there because they was sick of Dr.Andrea Hayes so again stay away if your trying to better your health, contact Dr.Bakatke (St.Thomas MidTown) because she is very straight forwarded and not A nurse practitioner and she has change my life!!!!!!

Terrible experience. Office was FILTHY, the floors had not been swept in a VERY long time and in the procedure room there waas dried iodine on the floors. They did a biopsy while I was there and when I started crying from the pain, she never stopped to ask if I was ok, but rather mentioned that men have a lower pain tolerance than women and it probably isnt that bad. BAD bed side manner. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE WORST PAIN I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. When they drew my blood, the nurse did not remember if she had cleaned my vein with alcohol and I had to tell her she hadnt. Additionally, the turnicate was left on my arm for a long time. Was not given any post operative care advice, and could not lift my head up for close to two weeks with pain. I received my results and after all of that, she did not obtain enough cells to get an accurate reading, which means I have to go through the procedure again. It will be at a different office. I dont want ANYONE to ever have to go through what I went through. IT was the most horrible Dr. Visit of my life.

My dad had been going to this clinic for about 6-7 years and never met the doctor once. He was referred by a physician from a low-income clinic (that should tell you something). His A1C levels had remained at an 8 or higher for the past 7 years to which I had to take over his health after seeing the NP for the first time. There was no discipline, no explanation, no advice or anything on how to control diabetes or that he should go to a diabetes management class (if you havent gone, you need too). He was just controlled by increasing the insulin dosage and then was recommended for the pump (like the other reviewer). After my initial appt with her, I told him not to go back there. Sadly, after having uncontrolled diabetes for so long it affected his heart to which now he is diagnosed with CHF and CHD. He survived being in ICU for 1 1/2 months and now his sugars are being managed well and is in cardiac rehab. Even my own PCP would NOT recommend this clinic nor would I.

I was referred to Dr Andrea Hayes and had seen her for barely a year only! With my lab results (high PTH and high blood calcium) she knew that was the sign of a tumor which is not going to be cured by any medication but surgery only! During my visit after the lab results, instead of discussing about the surgery she prescribed a medication SENSIPAR (some doctors classify it as "Devils Drug") which is NOT even approved by FDA for my type of condition! It was her "Wait and See" treatment and I was feeling terrible with that medicine (not knowingly) for six months. It seems some doctors get "kickbacks" from the drug companies and care least about their patients! She is cold, robotic and doesnt have any warmth as a physician. Please always read patient reviews and do your own research. I learnt my lesson, did my own research, found the best surgeon, had my surgery and got better for ever! My two cents: DO NOT GO TO ANDREA HAYES IF YOU WANT TO GET BETTER!!

I have always been treated very well here. They had a new receptionist at the desk when I went for my last appt. The staff are kind and humoredly friendly, they listen to you and and answer your questions. The doctor is very friendly and kind, she also has a sense of humor, and easy to talk to. Im taken seriously, never once did I ever feel awkward or made to feel unwanted. I dont like being made to feel like Im cattle and herded out the door faster then I came in, just another patient, here they are fast at getting you in at your time of appt. but never rushed to get you out. Very professional and laid back. My sister went here also, she felt the same way. They are also setting up a portal so you can check out your test results.

Do yourself a favor and find a different endocrinologist before you think about going here. The lady that saw me was in the room for just a few minutes and had not even looked at my chart before hand although they had my referral for a few weeks. She immediately wanted to prescribe medicine for my condition instead of finding out why I had the condition in the first place. I got a second opinion at a much better endo that performed an MRI and found that I had a TUMOR that was causing all of my issues. Had I listened to this terrible doctor, I still may not know that I had a TUMOR!!! I began treatment with the new endo and began feeling better within a few days. DO NOT USE THIS ENDOCRINOLOGIST. Like seriously, dont do it.

My experience there has been terrible from start to finish. She isnt taking my health issues serious and shes very rude. Im in process of finding a new Endocrine who actually care about my health. I went in on 10/09/2015 with serious concerns and she blew me off. I was in her office all of 10 mins listening to her tell me my symptoms were not that important. They want me to keep taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen instead of finding out whats really wrong!! I wouldnt refer ANYONE to go to Hayes Endocrine and Diabetes... Do your research and pay attention to the reviews... I now wish I payed more attention to the reviews before I wasted months going to her.

I was diagnosed with diabetes November 2016. I constantly struggled to find an endocrinologist who was accepting new Tenncare patients. My PCP found Hayes and I had my first visit today. The admits were very nice and professional, and I was back in the office shortly after I finished my paperwork. My nurse was very nice, she checked my blood sugar, took pictures of my eyes, and jotted down answers to questions. I received a foot exam and the doctor [BC] fixed my medications and sent me off for blood work. I enjoy this area and will definitely be back for all my diabetic needs.
