Ive been to Piedmont Animal Hospital a total of 3 times. The first 2 times were fine, no complaints. We felt like the doctor and techs were helpful and the prices were okay. My 3rd experience is the reason for 3 stars. This was one where I had to let one of my babies go. The process was hard, but the doctor and techs were pretty patient and nice. What floored me, though, was the customer service from the receptionists and the lack of communication overall. No one took the time to break down the costs, the timeline for having my pet sent for cremation, anything. I had some special requests, when I returned no one knew anything about them. I had asked the vet tech to save a piece of my cats fur, the receptionist didnt know anything about that and she said she would ask the vet tech and call me back. This hasnt happened of course, and Im sure that they didnt save any, and its obviously too late now to fix something like that. The company that they sent my pet to, Greenbrier, didnt contact me either about my special requests. The end result was me receiving an urn completely different than what I expected, with a name plate I paid extra for and ended up hating. The whole experience, on top of losing my special friend, has just been a huge disappointment. I understand that this is a process that they go through plenty and that its not necessarily a big deal to them, but it was a huge deal to me and it really hurt my heart how it was handled.

I have lived in seven different states and had pets for the past 20+ years. This clinic is the absolute best in the business that I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. They take the best care of my two dogs (one of which has socialization issues). I use them for short term boarding, general health and incidental care and everyone I have ever talked to or worked with are the utmost professionals. It isnt the cheapest I have ever used and thats not what I want when it comes to my babies. Value is worth paying for and they dont charge me when I call for advice or suggestions, they actually try to help me avoid office visits when necessary. Hats off to Piedmont veterinary. Were going to miss you!

The Drs. and staff here are the absolute best. They saved my best friend and cared for him as if he were their own. The compassion they showed us cannot be compared to any other veterinary establishment Ive been to. My Sams emergency had me at 3 seperate vets. When I finally took him to Piedmont in a last minute effort to save him, they went above and beyond and I still have my best friend. My only regret is that I didnt take him here first! Thank you all so very much!

Doctors and nurses are nice. I would recommend the front desk to be trained on customer service and being a bit more compassionate. They are not very welcoming at the start of your visit. Forget about calling and forgetting the nurse names, you will be reminded that there are 30 staff members in the office. If it wasnt for this, I would have rated it a full 5 star. The service is expensive but worth getting your baby seen at last minute.

Weve been taking our furry ones here for over 15 year, more than a generation of dogs. We have always found them to be caring and compassionate even at very difficult times. Our guys always look forward to their visits. All of our canines have been healthy and happy thanks to the advice of the vets and the techs. Thank you Piedmont Animal Hospital for all that you do in every way on every day.

While they do a fine job here with animals, we found their prices to be quite high with the number of recommended tests for our specific case. They referred our dog to an offsite "dental vet" at an estimated cost of $2200 to remove teeth. We went to another vet nearby and they completed the procedure for $300 and they were excellent. Sorry, but thats where we will be going from now on.

Our dog had a UTI and we needed him to get to a vet asap. We just recently moved and didnt get a chance to find a vet yet and my work schedule is not very flexible. They are open on weekends and were able to fit us in last minute on a Sunday. They were very wonderful to work with and their prices are reasonable.

We went today for the first time with our new puppy Chihuahua and everyone was SUPER nice and attentive the Doctor was amazing and very thorough, they even gave us a welcome packet with lots of useful information ;) we were super pleased with the outcome. Will highly recommend.

I have had to board my dog at this hospital several times and sometimes at the last minute, my dog and I have been very happy with how he has been cared for. I am a retired vet tech. so I know what to look for in an animal hospital. The doctors and staff are great.

The vet techs, doctors, and other employees have been nothing but phenomenal. Like a lot of pets, my dog doesnt particularly like going to the vet. However, once he is there everyone is loving on him so much that he quickly perks up. Buddy and I both thank you!

If you have plenty of money, dont mind being gouged , overcharged , seeing a different Vet on every visit and receiving false information then this is your vet. I will not spend another dime with these thiefs and wouldnt recommend their services to any one.

Would love to keep going there. Prices are high though. Office staff have no good emotion. Always seem pissed of at what they do. Find office staff with better attitudes and our whole family of animals will come back to your office!

i took my dog there because he was limping, it cost me close to 400 dollars for xrays and pills... and the dog caught something from there and its been two days since he hasnt ate ... and now my other dog got sick
