I was really hoping to have a positive experience with Dr. Palceski after reading the other positive reviews on here. I did not. This is an honest review. I called ahead for a quote, because I am a self-pay patient. I was given a price range, and was told it depended what type of visit I had. Made sense, so I booked an appointment -- at the next opening which was a month and half away. Upon visiting, I found the office to be very nice, and the front desk staff to be super friendly -- I filled out page (after page, after page) of medical history and detailed information about my concerns over my skin. Im not sure why though, since I spent only a few fleeting moments with the doctor himself, who so clearly did not read over any of my medical history or concerns. He never touched my skin, or even got close enough to examine it thoroughly. He spent less than five minutes in the room with me, dismissing my concerns with a laugh, which was so not appropriate when I was truly seeking help for a problem Ive had for so many years, and instead spoke over me to his nurse, firing off names of prescriptions to her. I requested that they be generic, and cost effective, since (again) I was a self-pay patient, and all costs would be coming out of my pocket. Its like he didnt hear a word I said. When I approached the desk to pay, totally confused over my very fast and very disappointing visit, I was (OF COURSE) charged the highest amount in the range I was given. I hate to know what kind of service you get for the cheaper cost! When I got to the pharmacy, with no clue really WHAT the three prescriptions were for, the pharmacist politely informed me that the total cost would be almost a thousand dollars. I was shocked. He showed me on the prescriptions where the doctor had checked all the boxes that said "Brand name medically necessary" despite my plea for generics. I clearly couldnt afford the $980 worth of meds, so I called the office and explained. The very sweet P.A. worked with me over a series of phone calls until we found a generic option for one thing, and coupons for the other two. I was so frustrated by that point though, I was in tears. I went to see my primary care physician a week later and she helped me find better, cost effective options for my skin.

I have been visiting Dr. Palceskis office for the past several years after transferring from another dermatologist who had the rudest bedside manner. Since my first visit to Reflections Dermatology I have always been treated like family when I visit the practice. Dr. P has wonderful bedside manner! He takes the time to talk to you about any concerns you may have about your skin. He is conservative in his recommendations for procedures and he is thorough when I go in for my annual skin check. His staff are also very personable and treat me with respect and care. Vonnie is Dr. Ps Aesthetician. She is also wonderful to work with. She is extremely knowledgable and her silk peel facials are the best. Another element that I like about Reflections Dermatology is that they DONT sell 1,000 different products. They have just a few different lines of cosmeceuticals that they recommend and thats it! I never leave there with a hand full of items that I dont need and that I dont know what to do with. They also sell ONE line of mineral makeup (Glo Minerals). Again, they are not trying to up-sell you on products that you do not need. They carry what lines they like the best and that is it. Every procedure I have received at Dr. Ps has been worth every penny. From facials, to botox to laser treatments I am always satisfied when I leave Dr. Ps.

Had a horrible experience with a procedure for a cancerous area that Dr. P promised to oversee. I questioned why this VERY young woman did not wait for the doctor to do the application and procedure. I asked specifically where the doctor was and why was he not present. She responded that this is "what she does and he isnt coming in for the procedure ". She ended up burning my skin so badly in areas that I ended up with infections, even after purchased and used all the expensive products that they sell you on your way out. I had to return for antibiotics and shared what happened. No apology given, only tried to sell me more of their expensive product in addition to the script for my infection. To add insult to injury, literally, I had also verified with the front office staff what my costs out of pocket would be and paid up---so I thought, BUT, I ended up with additional charges billed one year later. When I shared my experience the billing department, she was as insensitive and money driven as this physician and his practice. The priority should be the patient, not the money, Reflections Dermatology! Would never go back to this practice.

I had a rash in my neck and chest. So I started looking for a good dermatologist online and I am so lucky to find reflection dermatology. The fact that I live 40 min away didnt prevent me from visiting the office and be one of their patients. I read many reviews before I went and I have to say that I was so impressed when I went for my appointment The stuff are super great and the doctor is really so friendly and professional. He took his time to explain what I have unlike other doctors. He felt that I was so concerned about the rash in my skin so he told me one sentence that really made me feel good. He said: "once you came here, you dont have to think about it, I will take care of it and you will be fine in couple days" his kind words were like remedy for me. He prescribed couple medicines for me (I only paid 10 dollars with my insurance for them all) then I bought a cleanser from the office it was not expensive at all. I was fine in less than 4 days :) my rash disappeared and my skin feels softer than before. I am now so excited to have my silk peeling for my face for next week. PS: the doctors skin is as clear as water. I so much envy him lol

Dr. Palceski is an amazing dermatologist! He is seriously so nice and easy to talk with, especially in situations where you may not be going into his office for the greatest of things. He is very well informed and will make sure you know everything that is going on. If you are looking for an amazing dermatologist, Id say Dr. Palceski is your go-to guy. .....BUT, if you dont like dealing with horrible front office staff, then this may not be your go-to place. After I had a melanoma scare (Dr. Palceski found spots on me that I saw everyday and would NEVER have expected to have anything wrong but in fact did) I wanted to call and make an appointment for my brother who had similar spots that Dr. Palceski removed from me. I made that phone call to schedule an appointment 4 months ago.....I am still waiting for that phone call. If, in all honesty, you can get over the fact that he has incompetent front office staff (with the exception of a couple wonder ladies up front) then I would highly recommend Dr. Palceski, especially if you may think you have melanoma, he will make you feel very comfortable dealing with such a scary situation.
