Complete incompetence from the "fitting specialist" and the manager. My daughter has Medicaid insurance and they over billed us by $100+ about a year ago. She needs new glasses again and when we went in, the "fitting specialist" did not bring up the Medicaid glasses, she only told us that we had a $100 allowance. She also said that there was no coverage for transitional lenses which is a direct lie (she has the form in her desk and admitted to it after Medicaid told us that she had it). We were told that they had given us the insurance credit on the transitional lenses last year but when speaking with them today, they said "you paid the full price for the transitional coating". What a bunch of thieves!! My entire family uses Eye Express but that just changed. The only excuse that they had was that the fitting specialist had just gotten engaged and just came back from vacation. WOW! You lied about the glasses and the coating, why not lie about her instead of sounding that stupid. As your manager told my wife, we need to find a different place to get glasses, and we will. I have a call into Joshua (the manager of all of their stores) and well see what he does.

06/10/2016--Went for an exam. The "exam" was very brief and I should have been warned off by that. However, I purchased glasses. 06/24/2016-I discovered the glasses had been delivered to eye express after three phone calls. I picked them and returned them them that day as they were blurry. I spoke to Jennifer who said they were fitted incorrectly and that she "would make it right." 07/05/2016--I phoned eye express and was told not to call them as they would call me. 07/08/2016--As there had been no calls, I went eye express and got my money refunded. I think that these people would be well advised to immediately start conducting drug screens on a regular basis.

after reading the comments I had to make one myself I had a very good experience here people were very nice and did a thorough job > I was even able to get contacts!!! the doctor I went to before (when I first got my glasses 1 1/2 years ago) told me I could not wear contacts boy was he wrong!! as far as the "charging extra" they do ONLY IF YOU WANT A CONTACT LENSE EXAM and they give you a form to sign stating the extra fees in detail which the staff mad very clear to me the way it works and this is only because most insurance companies do not cover contacts. I would recommend this place staff nice large assortment of glasses etc

I will never go there again. The eye exam was the worst I ever had. Did not care for the people or the doctor. After the exam, I went to get my prescription filled. When all was done, my glasses were $200. I said no way. The insurance paid for my substandard exam, and I left with my prescription. Went to another eye glass place and got the same features for $100 less. Next year I will go back to my regular eye doctor. These people must work on commission. Never again.

Went for an exam, the lady was very nice and there was minimal waiting! How great is that?. The prices are reasonable, and the staff was absolutely wonderful and understanding. Waiting room is large, and very kid friendly. Lots of choices concerning glasses and purchased my new pair there. No glare, transitional, flex frame, insurance, all are very good prices. The only bad thing I have to say is the wait to get them, but totally worth it- And worth the money.

I swore Id never go there again. The scheduling tech was rude and didnt know what she was doing and they didnt communicate well regarding prices until services were rendered. That was last year. Now they have a new scheduling tech who is very nice and professional. She makes the difference. I still think theyre over priced though.

During my appointment, there was an irate customer demanding his money back. I should have taken that as a sign....Crazy expensive. Once your initial exam is done and they have your money, dont expect any customer service or help with reordering contacts or to pick up your glasses.

Obviously some people want something for nothing, but if you want professional care, reasonable rates and quick turnaround, this is your optometrist. Dont buy the negative baloney you read here. Was fitted for transitional bifocals and had a wonderful experience.

Been to many eye doctors..this exam did to seem short..everyone was really nice..but getting your glasses takes forever..when they tell you a date you can get your glasses they mean that date NO SOONER..they do take the we will call you dont call us approach..

The staff was friendly and helpful the exam was very thorough. Even the tech was patient enough to take the time to help me put in My contacts and take them out again..they all have a great sence of humor and love their jobs.. Scott

Dr. Buffano is rude. She does not listen to what the patient has to say. She rushes you out of the exam room. Thanks to her poor bedside manner, this place has lost another customer.
