Went for my first visit there this morning. I have worn contacts for 25 years, and I felt that this exam was the most thorough I have ever had. Dr. Willeford is very personable, the staff I interacted with were all very professional, and I thought the prices were reasonable. This is a private group practice, not a corporate one, and I think that makes a huge difference. It seemed like they used the latest tech in comparison to other places Ive previously been to. I was also impressed that they had the correct contact lenses in stock for me to try immediately (again, something I have never had before as I have very strong astigmatism). Dr. Willeford regularly lectures to other professionals, and I met him at a lecture he was giving to a local group of dentists on eye health. This guy definitely knows his stuff and I appreciate that he takes the time to educate the community on eye health- something he is obviously very passionate about. Dr. Willeford took the time to talk to me, and to double and triple check that I had the absolutely best prescription match for my eyes- nobody has ever done that before. Thanks Dr. Willeford!

Because I was dissatisfied with the staff and service at my previous eye doctor, I decided to change to Ritz and Johnson two years ago and boy, am I glad I did. The staff is friendly and very competent. Dr. Johnson is extremely thorough in his examination. I never feel hurried. My questions are welcomed and answered. I am treated like a valued patient instead of just a number in a queue. I highly recommend Ritz and Johnson to anyone looking for a higher level of eye care.

I was a walk in at Ritz and Johnson recently, and the staff made me feel welcomed and they were so nice. Dr. Menjivar was thorough and profesprofessional. He answered all of my questions and I had no doubts about my choice of eye wear or the quality of care. I was fitted and out the door in a very timely manner, all without feeling rushed. This is a great group of people, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking . Yes, even to my friends and family.

I bought contacts over a year ago and I ran into 4 bum pairs in a row in a box that has an expiration date 3 years from now. They will not make good of the bum contacts because I bought them over a year ago. Purchase date and expiration date are two different dates. Also, you have to request your prescription/s as they would like to just keep them on file and have you pay their high prices. Doctor is okay, but not happy with the customer service!

I have been to many other doctors and Ritz & Johnson by far has been the best. Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Willeford is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He takes his time with you to make sure you understand what hes talking about. I had issues getting the right prescription for my contacts to be able to use them for far and near. He was able to get it right on the first try. I love this office.

Dr Johnson was extremely thorough. He explained everything that he was going to do, his findings, and his recommended plan of care. He included me in the plan asking what my wishes were and explained advantages and disadvantages to both. The office staff is very friendly! Always call my children by their name and are never aggravated when we come frequently for adjustments. I would highly recommend this office!

Ritz Johnson saw me this morning for an Emergency visit. The visit was only $80. I dont know why I expected $300- $400. I have a corneal abrasion right below my pupil. He prescribed me medicine that was $246. He sent me to the pharmacy with a "discount card", and it came to $60 even. So for a total of $140 I was seen and got my meds. Very quick service and very very nice doctor who genuinely seemed concerned.

I had a problem with my right eye as long as ten years ago that no matter what test was done no one could tell me what the problem was caused by. This doctor listen and performed a simple test ($60) that took a picture of the inside of my eyes and he was able to identify the cause and make recommendations. I paid over $750 ten years ago and never got an answer . I will go back to this doctor every time

Excellent service! We have been seeing Dr. Cheney for over 12 years now and we absolutely would recommend this office. Unfortunately, Dr. Cheney will be retiring this week and we will have to see another doctor. However, the customer service is fantastic and the frame selection makes it easy to find something that works for you. We wish you the very best in retirement Dr. Cheney!!

Staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. There was an issue with my insurance and the Jade went above and beyond to get it straightened out. Dr. Johnson was great! Picking out glasses was not stressful and their selection of frames was great.
