We have been bringing our dog to Mainstay since we adopted her in the fall. We had taken our previous pets somewhere else but came to Mainstay because they had been dealing with the rescue we adopted her from, and we felt she needed consistent care for the medical problems she was being treated for. They have been wonderful! The staff is so nice and helpful, I never feel rushed through my appointments, and I dont think that Ive ever had to wait more than a few minutes! They ask me to email them updates after the appointments to let them know how things are going, and respond quickly to any questions. Since we are first time dog owners, they have been so helpful in teaching us how to care for our dog, what to look for, etc. Needless to say, we wont be going back to our previous vet. I would recommend Mainstay to anyone.

Nothing could have made my recent experience with Mainstay Veterinary any better. I have been searching for a veterinarian ever since my beloved vet, Dr. David Hunter, retired about three years ago. I had been with the same practice for over thirty years. After my first visit with Dr. Hitt, a veterinarian and owner of Mainstay, I knew my search was over. Please take time to access their website and read the staff bios. Their stories are quite compelling. I have nothing but accolades for this veterinary practice, and I am ever so grateful to one of their clients who gave me the recommendation.

Spent a week visiting Mainstay to see the kittens they were taking care of and finding homes for. They offered to take these kittens plus the feral mommy cat when my daughter caught them. Mainstay neutered the mommy and gave her appropriate shots and took care of all the kittens until homes were found -- all for free. Ive never dealt with a veterinary practice that did so much for free. The Mainstay employees and vets were great to visit with during my stops and I could tell how committed they were to helping all pets. In addition, they have a fantastic setup for housing cats and kittens!

I want to thank Dr. Hitt again for doing such a great job with my 5 year old chocolate lab, CoCo. Without Dr. Hitt and the great team at MVP I would have lost my best friend. The office manager, Blaine, also did a great job expediting the entire process from beginning to end. Hopefully CoCo will never eat the entire box of chocolates which included the wrappers, plastic and the box! Smh

Our experience here was great! We were given an appointment right away when our puppy was sick. She was given medication and treatment and we got all the answers and explanations we needed. We were also given very clear instructions for the best care for her for the next few days. We even rececieved a call later that night to make sure our puppy was doing well. Highly recommend!!

These are the best vets around. Both Drs Hitt and Chamarande are total experts and so caring. After going to larger, corporation-owned vets, we feel that the level of service and genuine commitment to the animals (rather than upselling unnecessary products and services) is a huge plus. You cant wrong in the particular veterinary clinic. The vet techs are similarly exceptional.

Dr. Hitt is the best Vet that I have ever come across. My dog had a bad reaction to an rx and Dr. Hitt stayed late to take Otis home with her so she could administer his drugs and carefully monitor him throughout the night. Otis is doing fantastic today! I love this practice!

Everyone at MVP is very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they dont over prescribe and have a cats only room to help the felines feel more at ease. Its always been easy to get an appointment and you can view your pets records online through their pet portal.
