I had a horrible experience at this location and will not be returning. I wish I could give this location 0 stars. The staff and manager were extremely hard to work with and rude. While in their care my puppy was not restrained and ran into a wall after a major operation. The staff broke an e collar that I brought in from home, and made me buy a new e collar rather than replacing the one they broke. It was extremely frustrating that the manager would not even give me a discount on the new e collar. I do not recommend going to this location. I recently have moved to the Glen Allen Banfield location and have had an amazing experience with staff.

Being 23 years old with their first puppy, I had many questions and many worries. Banfield has made having Remi a complete breeze for me! The staff is absolutely OUTSTANDING, they answer any question you have and never let anything get in their way with the bond they have with their "patients." Remi LOVES coming in for her visits and gets excited when she sees the staff. I cant name just one person there who is outstanding because EVERYBODY goes above and beyond to make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. I will NOT go anywhere else besides Banfield in Mechanicsville!

I live 2 hours away and opted to take my foster dog here. I was very uncomfortable with the ones in Northern VA. I also couldnt afford the hundreds of dollars other places would have charged. He has since been adopted by my sister who continues to take him here. So far I have been very happy. Dr. Lovern and the other vet also dont over-vaccinate. They try to protect your dog without doing unnecessary things. The front desk people are always super nice too. I love it.

I love these guys! They treated my baby Madison like she was their own. She got really sick from her vaccines because she was soo small (2.5lbs) and I brought her back the next day, they made sure she was safe and comfortable during her stay while they monitored her. Now every time its time for her vaccines, they give me the proper medications to handle her reactions, if any, so thats shes comfortable throughout the first 48 hours....Excellent staff!!!!

Ive been with Mechanicsville Banfield for 4 years and this is the best vet experience Ive ever had. Theyve cared for my dogs providing expertise, timely service and compassion through good times and bad. They provide excellent care for my English Bulldog! I wouldnt go anywhere else...and Ive been to the private vets in the area and this is WAY BETTER! With a pet plan its also very affordable. Oh, Big George loves to go to the vet!

I just moved to the area and had a semi-emergency. Tried them out. They were very nice to me and my dog. Dr. Kitchen was great and very thorough; spent time with me and explained everything very well. Called back to setup routine checkup. Jennifer was very polite and patient as I explained my complicated situation.

Christinia that works the front desk is very good at her job. She is always willing to help anyway she can and is a great asset to Banfield. She use to work at the one at Virginia Center Commons and I dont know why she left but, it is a shame. I started taking my dogs to this one because she is well worth the trip.

Totally love love love Dr. Lovern. She moved from one Banfield to another and in turn we switched Banfields and now drive extra distance just for her. She is just amazing. Very knowledge and patient with wonderful bedside manner.

Love this Banfield. They really care about your pet and their well being. My pet is on a wellness plan and we renewed it this year because its such a better way to pay for your pets care.
