Youll be glad you came here!! When my son needed braces several years ago and I visited a total of 3 orthodontist offices trying to find the best fit. Not being overly impressed with the first two places I had little confidence in visiting Richard Byrd DDS office. Well, I was wrong! The staff was and continues to be top notch!!. Everyone is always friendly and professional and the place is VERY clean and well maintained. I love having the access of both a dentistry and and orthodontics so theres no need to run back and forth. They take a wide variety of insurance and are pretty upfront about any cost you could incur. There is little wait time for new appointments or follow up appointments and they have always been accommodating when it little things come up and you need to be seen right away (broken bracket, chipped tooth etc). The service and quality care Dr. Byrd office provides is the why I did not hesitate to bring my other children in. Kid no.2 is now in braces and my 3rd one just had her first appointment here. We LOVE this office!!

I started going to Dr.Byrd since I was around 9 years old. I would admit that I was pretty intimidated on getting braces since it was so unexpectedly. The staff there guided me through EVERYTHING. They made me feel so comfortable and at home. When they put my braces on, they were very gentle with my teeth. Asking me, "does this feel okay" "does this hurt". I appreciated that because I usually dont like it when people work on my teeth. I had my braces on for 5 years and I couldnt be any happier with the result. The offices and the spaces that they worked on were very organized and clean. Thank you for everything you have done! I would most definitely recommend you to anybody and everybody I know.

Dr. Richard Byrd and staff are outstanding, knowledgeable and professional. I have 3 children and myself we all go to this office for regular dental care and orthodontist treatment. We have been coming here for years. We live by the Richmond Airport area and travel all the way to this office. I love the fact they answer all of my questions and not feeling like Im worrying them in any way. Its so convenient to have a Pediatric Dentist at the same place where you get your otho treatment at. I would recommend this Orthodontist, they are amazing.

Richard Byrd the best dental office you will walk into. From the moment you walk in, till the time you set your next appointment, you will be welcomed with smiles. Richard Byrd is a place to be. They will have your smile looking spic and span. Being a client there they offered me much help from my aches and pains to relief. Having braces i have had major change in my teeth. Now i am more confident in my smile because of RICHARD BYRD.Just by being there you WILL feel like family!!

Dr. Byrd and his associates have improved the smile of both my daughters. We used their skill for my older daughter and have returned with my younger daughter. All our experiences have been positive. We are met with kind and helpful associates at the desk and before and after each visit we are told what will occur and why and what to expect. Brandon Sharp - The people who work their are soo nice. The 3 strikes policy that they have is amazing because it will teach the kids to take care of their braces. The music that they play while getting your wires changed is soothing could be a little louder though. They are gentle while putting wires and brackets in your mouth, the only reason it hurts is because your teeth is adjusting. Everything is clean and neat! Nice work :)

My son has severe anxiety about going to the dentist - so severe that another dentist was not able to work on him at all. Dr. North and the staff were so kind and understanding, while being firm and gentle at the same time. He was able to have 2 procedures done without tears. I am so thankful for finding this office - we will be bringing all of our children to see Dr. North and Dr. Byrd from now on.

I absolutely love Dr. Byrd and his staff. He did my braces in my mid 20s and Im just now coming in years later for an adjustment to the permanent retainer. It was like a family reunion to see him have the same staff and give hugs and to catch up on everything. Dr. Byrd truly cares about children of ALL ages, young and young at heart! I wish him and his staff much continued success.

My daughter is in love with this office. The staff is so nice to her and the doctor is gentle. Every time my daughter has an appointment with Dr. North she gets so excited because she thinks she can get out of school early "to see her friends" as she says. I wouldnt trade Dr. North, Byrd, or Donaldson for anything. Thank you Dr. RIchard Byrd and Associates. You all are GREAT!!!!

The worst place ever. They make more than one appointment and accept no dental records so they can continue to schedule pointless consultations. Very rude and a waste of time and money. Took my son somewhere else and he was treated the same day. Their process is too tedious and the staff are RUDE . Dont waste your time.
