I had the same pain management doctor for five years following a surgical injury that left me with severe vascular, cardiac, musculoskeletal, and nerve damage; when he retired two years ago, he sent all of us to Alliance to work with Dr. Vogglegasang and staff. I have been seen primarily by Tamara Mikkleson and Eric Renk, two of the PA-Cs there, and they have been phenomenal. Every single staff person Ive worked with there has been the picture of professionalism from the folks at the front desk to the nursing staff to the prescribing clinicians. I have found that a lot of clinics either dont prescribe opioids at all or, on the other side of the spectrum, will give patients whatever they want for a price. At Alliance, the goal is effective pain management. They prescribe opioids when they are a viable and effective option, but they also have no problem with raising concerns of calling out problematic behaviors. Ive never felt judged by anyone here, only supported even when were talking about issues like dependence, reducing meds, and trying alternate therapies. Really an amazing staff, one I cant say enough good things about.

They are nothing but a bunch of drug pushers. After 8 years of being with them and being told I would have to be on these drugs for the rest of my life they then just drop me as a patient because half his staff quit on him. (That should tell you something) Well, guess what? I see a new doctor and I am now OFF all the drugs he swore I would never be able to live without. Not only that, other health problems that crept up over the years are going away because guess what? They were drug induced! If you are on these drugs and have sleep problems, adrenal problems, and so on, it could be the drugs they push! I found out too that Fentanyl is supposed to only be for cancer patients. But Dr V and his staff hand it out like candy.

First time I ever called this place, I get what I think is a man, turns out he acts 15. He answers phone , says "Can you hold, thank you", (click), hes gone. Comes back on the line, blames not ALLIANCE, but my Dr, for making me wait a month in limbo, to find out they dont take my insurance. My Dr. received no paper, like he guessed. 18 years with my Dr. I will take her word over this rude little boy answering ALLIANCES telephone. Sad that businesss cant treat people with respect. And whats up with the " mostly, we dont take Medicare". Is there a special pain group you have to belong to, to get help? I have M.S.. Which group does that put me in???

My Dr who I have had for many.years went to work at Alliance what a great place I couldnt believe how wonderful and.caring everyone of the staff where they are all amazing Whenever I had any.problem at all and called not only did they get right back to me but they also handled whatever the problem was in a very timely manner the last place my Dr worked they had alot of staff with attitudes I just cant say enough about how great they all where and how much they really did care

Ive been a patient there for almost 10 years now, and I cant say a single negative thing about them! They are very caring people who have consistently focused on both the safety and quality of life for me. If not for Dr. Vogelgesang, Dr. Renk, Jake, Teresa, and all of the other folks there, I wouldnt have been physically able to most of the fun things with my children that mean sooo very much to us!!!
