5 visits with 1 hour plus wait and no diagnosis. Because I am a Veteran I have no choice where I am sent! The first visit: I was sent the incorrect address: so I drove around, walked in a office (they called around for me) and finally found the right place still got there 5 minutes early and the receptions was the rudes person I have ever dealt with giving me a hard time that I should have arrived earlier to fill out the paper work... I would have walked out right then but I am handicapped and have a hard time getting around. I waited for 1.5 hours! I was told sorry we had a emergency. I did not see anyone walking in or out that had any difficulty. after appointment I waited for 2 weeks for medication I kept calling and finally received it 4 weeks after appointment. So now I had to cancel the next appointment since he wanted to see me after I took the medication for 2 weeks. 2nd visit: yup same rude receptionist, with blasting music in the window so I can not hear myself think, sat around for over 1 hour again mind you I have the early morning appointment how can he be behind already? I am now in the room with door closed and I hear I do not now how they lost the test results the lab did not get them really???? after now 7 weeks of messing around I still do not have lab results. We do it the test again, different medication to try since we do not have any idea what is wrong with my Tongue I cant eat because it burns! Another month for medication result nope that did not help... You get the picture I Went back 2 more times same story and no diagnosis. What a waste!!! Shame on them! Do NOT go there please spare your self!!!!

The negative reviews have A LOT in common. I showed up 15 min early to my appointment, knowing Id have to fill out paperwork since I was a new patient. My appointment was for 1pm. There was 1 woman in the waiting room with me. I finished my paperwork in about 7 min and then waited at the receptionist window, since she had left the window, for 15 min before sitting down and waiting for her to return. Once she did, she took my paperwork and then I waited. The woman ahead of me went back and another woman came into the office and sat down. Then the first woman whod been called back, came out and left after a few minutes. So it was just the 2 of us, myself and the second woman whod come in, sitting in the waiting room. By the time Id had enough, it had been an hour of me in the waiting room. I cannot drive myself a lot anymore due to a brain surgery and chronic pain, so my husband and kids were in the car waiting for me. They didnt call me back until 1:45 which was 45 min past my appointment time, and I was already standing at the window to reschedule so I could leave. I never even saw the doctor. Then the receptionist was rude after the fact, like I was the one who either deserved it or that I was at fault. The reviews had nice things to say of him, the doctor, but I will never know because I have a new referral to somewhere else. This office was extremely poorly run. Until they hire new staff and can be more efficient, Id go elsewhere.

Dr. Mulder is a promising and bright physician, but unfortunately his expertise is overshadowed by terrible office management. After my last visit, it has taken them 4 weeks, and many follow ups on my part, to get a simple sinus RX filled for me (it still isnt filled). They have a sign in their office asking people to not leave msgs when they call. The last time I called, I was placed on hold for 20 minutes and finally hung up. He should hire more staff before the poor level of customer service impacts his practice. Im sad to have to go to Lilly Rd. since Dr. Mulder is closer and I really like him, but no one should have to wait 4 weeks for a RX. My condition is now much worse than when I saw him weeks ago because Ive had to go so long without medication that HE recommended during our visit. If you can get past the poorly run office, Dr. Mulder is very good though.

Doctor Mulder himself seemed very knowledgeable and was very helpful, but Alison Vega and Ascent Audiology, is one big scam. If this was a review of Dr. Mulder and not the practice as a whole, it would be much higher. I was referred to see Dr. Mulder at Capital ENT by my primary care physician, who sent along a hearing test he had recently given me. I was referred *just to see Dr. Mulder, not to Ascent Audiology or to see Alison Vega. But she took me back to give me a hearing test, even though I told her I didnt need one because my doctor sent one over. She gave me one anyway, then Ascent Audiology proceeded to bill me $60 for the test I was given at Capital ENT. I highly suggest avoiding a "hearing test" (of which they never gave me the results, by the way) and Alison Vega, its a bunch of bs.

Its an ent. Youd think they could accomidate the hearing impared in some way. Thats a joke. I asked the receptionist at least 4 times to please speak up. I just ended up walking away clueless as to what she said. Also they made me an appointment knowing I have an insurance they no longer take, put a tube in that ended up (and still is) dangling from my ear drum. Now i have a bill for $140 for an appointment that took no more than5 minutes. Then repeated automated calls for months after telling me its time to make an appointment. That was very annoying. Oh and two unsuccessful ear surgeries in the past which if I hold my ear open it works but let go it doesnt. Never even aknowledged my concerns with that issue or looked for a way to fix.

This has to be the worst experience I have ever had at a Dr. Office. To say the staff is rude is an understatement. I had a 10:30 appt. by 11:45 I was wondering what is going on so I asked when I would be seen and the receptionist said I was second in line. She then called back the 10:45 appt so I asked why they went before me and she said I had an appt with the auditory DR. First which is a crock. Long story short after waiting unitl noon I again asked and she said it could be at least another 20 minutes and he is a DR and his time is important. I informed her my time is as important as his and you tell me how an office that opens at 9 is at least 2 hours behind by 10:30. DONT GO YOU, YOU WILL REGRET IT

Id give it 0 stars if that were an option. We just moved here, I brought in our prior records 3 weeks early for him to review... never once looked at the records. No diagnosis. Depth of knowledge seemed minimal. The building interior is sub par, cramped spaces, wall stickers half peeled off, heck even the waiting room magazines were 3+ years old. The wait, despite arriving half an hour early, was over 45 minutes.
