My son has been visiting Kids First for 6 years now. He was my firstborn so I was very nervous about taking him to the doctor. I wanted to make sure they were going to nice and patient. We started seeing Dr.Bonner who was FABULOUS! When he left we switched to Callahan for most of our visits. She was just an extension of Bonner, so nice and patient. Taking time to listen to all of my concerns, play with my baby, hug or kiss him. Just wonderful! There are other docs in the practice but hands down Dr. Callahan is the "complete package". I would also recommend Dr. Alawahu (not sure of exact spelling), she is very thorough but not as warm and fuzzy. I am about to have twins and they also will be visiting the Kids First Springfield. One last thing, the sick nurses and on call nurses are also the best in the business!

They helped determine what was happening to my son when crozer keystone and Chespenn couldnt identify the problem great place and great doctors I highly recommend I dont recommend crozer keystone hospital Chespenn clinic anything near or in Chester Pennsylvania there not equipped with the proper skills or technology there very unsanitary they mix up patients in record very out of touch with the medical field beware dont bother if u value your privacy and life Now I do recommend this facility chop in Philadelphia known as childrens hospital as well and DuPont in Delaware they strive hard for children and are life savers with no hesitation they saved my son and Im extremely grateful they admitted him in diagnosed the problem immediately thank you.

Ive been bringing my daughter here since she was born. I really like Dr. Galasso and Dr. Calaghan the best. I also liked Dr. Lee, Dr. Hepburn, and the nurse practitioner Maureen. As a first time mom I love that I can call and talk to a nurse with medical questions or advice for dealing with first colds or injuries. They are quick to schedule you the same day if they feel your child needs to be seen when you call, and they are very responsive when using the online patient portal messaging.

My son has been going to Chop in Springfield for years. The location is great and always full of books to entertain the kids and the staff is patient and attentive. All equipment is state of the art. I highly recommend.
