I have had nothing but positive experiences with this practice, taking my 3 boys (18mo, 3 yrs, 6 yrs) for both well and sick visits. This included some "emergency" care that required sending my youngest to CHOP for urgents tests and treatment; in this case the practice was in touch with me at 6am on a Saturday to ensure that I knew what I needed to know, and stayed with us every step of the way. I am surprised by the negative comments here - my experience has been that they run on time and are courteous in a prompt, no-nonsense way. Yes, if you cannot get there on time you should expect to have to reschedule. I actually appreciate this as it keeps things running on time and is the way I would run a practice. My guess is that the negative comments here are from the typical disorganized, running late, everything-else-must-stop-for-my-child parents who cannot be bothered to be on time but expect everyone else to be on time for them. If that describes you, look elsewhere.

Impossible to get an appointment. Child is sick. Call the day before and no appointments available for next day. Told to call back tomorrow . Call the day of but cant accommodate for an evening appointment until I call later in the day (I do not have a job that can accommodate multiple phone calls and 20-minute holds). Every time I call, I either get kicked off the automated system and have to call back, or end up on hold for a significant amount of time. I seriously dont understand this place and their bizarre scheduling issues. The doctors are great, however, the difficulty of getting an appointment is the major drawback here.

After a string of other incidents at this practice, I finally decided to leave after a nurse was so rough with my child during an exam, that he cried out in pain. Do not be mislead by its association with CHOP; this practice provides subpar care and some of the worst office staff that I have ever encountered. After delivering my son, I inquired about Kids First-Flourtown at the hospital, and they kept dodging my question. I now know why. Please do not make the same mistake that I did, and do not bring your child here.

This practise is completely over extended to the point that the staff have completely forgotten common professional courtesy. The staff is extremely defensive and cannot handle difficult or sensitive situations without loosing it!! although the medical care is fine..better reserved just for yearly physicals of healthy patients. Ususally runing an hour behind..i gave then a year and now i am out of there!!!!! and i have healthy kids!! nurses also very rough with throat cultures!!

Terrible, terrible, terrible..... I dont understand how CHOP has the reputation that it has. The people that work here are rude, ignorant, and disrespectful. The scheduling, the doctors, everything about this place is awful. If you want to be treated like a POS and a nuisance, then go to CHOP Flourtown. If you want real care and service go elsewhere.

A friend recommended this office, and we have been very pleased. The staff has been helpful, friendly, and very good. We have been pleased with the level of attention and the speed with which help and advice have been given. Doctors are very good and the staff has been very attentive.

Hung up on me twice. Woman was then rude and short when I finally got through (15 min wait). Decided not to transfer my daughters after all, we will drive the extra 20 mins to get 100% better service.

We have had great experiences with CHOP Flourtown. Nice staff, short wait times, they brought my son in quickly when he scratched his cornea. We definitely feel well cared for here.

A numbers game. If you want timely, quality, personalized care, dont come here. They are simply overbooked.
