Totally agree with what Andrew said. Except in our case, we got Dr. Bernbeck who was absolutely nice and wonderful. Its too bad too because we really liked her. But the office staff/receptionists or whatever you call them, they are AWFUL. Really rude and uncaring. Some just look bored when you get in, which isnt so bad except when you talk to them and they are just not friendly and act like they dont care at all. And when you call them, terrible phone manners. Youd think they could be just a little bit nicer considering you were on hold for such a long time. All I can say is, these doctors should really do something about these people. Theyre losing patients because of them.

My experience with Dr. Berbeck is one of a wonderful Doctor/patient relationship. Her "bedside manner" is so refreshing because she truly cares about the patient. She has been our family physician for over 20 years beginning with our kids at Hoag Hospital and continuing on with their growth over all the trials and tribulations of staying healthy. The front office staff was courteous, very professional and responsive to everything that needed to get done. This tells me, that the front office staff in the past, probably responded in a firm manner to patients that were small minded, rude and demeaning (as several of the previous less than 5 star reviewers probably are).

I completely agree with other reviews; the receptionists/front desk staff are rude, uncaring, and dont know the concept of customer service. It was only after a 45 minute wait, and being close to the only one left in the waiting room, that they got up to look at their sign in sheet. When they called me up for my co-payment, there were no apologies or explanation for the wait. Its a shame they have this staff representing Dr.Bernbeck and her colleagues.

My experience with Dr Bernbeck and the staff at Beach Family Medical Doctors has been the best doctor I have ever had. The staff has always been nice to me. Not sure where all these comments are coming from but they truly go above and beyond for their patients. Thanks Beach Family Medical Doctors I would recommend them to anyone I know

Ive been going to Bernbeck and Pritti since the office was located on beach Blvd. They have been so attentive and compassionate through all the years. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else. Staff have been accommodating and have made note of my special directions for weight and blood pressure measurement.

I really liked Dr.Cheung, however I wont be returning because of the awful front office staff. They clearly dont have time to deal with patients as they are "understaffed" and "lack the man power". There is a lot of other places out there, no need to waste your time here!

I have always had really great experiences with Beach Family Doctors and while I wouldnt say that the front office staff is overly friendly, they have always been efficient and courteous. We love Dr. Bernbeck and have never had a problem with her front office staff.

Called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was extremely rude. I dont know what shes doing in a front desk position. She could find plenty of work on one of those New Jersey reality TV shows.
