I absolutley think this was the worst dentist I have been too. My son broke a tooth and our regular dentist referred us to him because he would use the gas to make my child as comfortable as possible to do a root canal. My dentist secretary confirmed the appointment with him and me. When we got to the appointment they informed me they had filled the time slotted because they didnt hear from me after the secretary confirmed the appointment. They went ahead and got my son in but said due to my insurance it didnt cover the gas. I informed them we would pay for the gas out of pcoket and they brushed it off like I couldnt afford it or something. So in turn they tramatized my child by just knumbing him with the needles which had him screaming and crying. We discussed the future treatment at that time to fix his tooth cosmetically and they told me they would let me know what my insurance would and would not cover, which they never did. I informed them I would like him to have the gas at his next appointment and would again be willing to pay for it. At his next appointment they did not inform me my insurance wouldnt cover the crown and went ahead and did it anyway and did not use the gas which I asked for. They then bill me over $200. I called both my insurances and they never received a bill from them. The insurance that I have is state and anything and everything on dental is 100% covered for my children!!!!!! When they had finished the tooth work my Mom was so upset by this dentist demeanor she said she was going to file complaints. He was very rude and unsympathetic and didnt respect what we wanted for the best treatment for our son. I refuse to take my child back to this dentist and told my regular dentist the whole thing and he even told me that any dental is covered completely for our children. I called the insurance and they informed me that they never received anything for the cosmetic work. I called and talked with the billing lady, Amy, and she was very rude and didnt want to discuss this matter with me. I am very disappointed in the manner with which we were treated and the agony that my son had to go thru because this dentist didnt respect us and listen to what we wanted for our son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Under no circumstances would I recommend this dentist to anybody.

I completely agree with the previous comment. This dentist has no ethics at all. I went in asking for cavity fills and preventative service only. I checked with his staff and the dentist himself and everyone reassured me that a particular service with involved scraping material off my teeth was preventative. When I left i paid my copay and they billed it as if the service was preventative and fully covered. It turns out that he then billed the insurance company as if it was a Major operation and I would have had a 50% copay. After the insurance company rejected the service he tried to bill me saying he never remembered anything about preventative service and he was very rude about it. When I called to pay the bill so it wouldnt ruin my credit I told the office manager how displeased I was and she hung up on me. We will never go back and the only recommendation I have for people is to stay away from this dentist.

What a jerk. The dentist lied to my husband and to me. I understand that I need to know my insurance, but if the dentist assures me it is covered, he should have to pay it if it isnt. He has no business telling me my insurance if he doesnt know 100% he did this with me and my husband, costing us an additional $150. What a crook. Please, save your money and your family, Dont go to him!

Been seeing this guy for many years. Hate going but hes a pretty good dentist. He straightened my teeth with braces and has filled a few cavities. I hate the shots but he gives them pretty well without a lot of pain. He reminds me to floss every time I get my teeth cleaned, which I have to admit I dont regularly do...but I will from now on. Every one there is nice and friendly.

Dr. Derald Geddes is a very detailed orientated dentist and I trust him to do any work on my teeth. The office is very clean and friendly, he is very professional and always does a perfect job on his patients. I would highly reccomend him to anyone in the Northern Utah area who is looking for a dentist.

I have seen many dentists in my life and no Ogden dentist compares to Dr. Geddes. He provides excellent service. When I enter the clinic I am always greeted by a warm professional staff. I would recommend Dr. Geddes to everyone. Thank you Dr. Geddes!
