Nightmare overcrowded unsafe for you to be in, i suffered a bad head injury and spent 3 days in the local hospital when i went back andvsigned out they had a maint man drop me off in downtown Bridgeton just hrs after being released with a head injury, i was alone at a busstop not even knowing where i was, my wife was not informed, this happened in june 2015. Dont trust them think about it i had spent 3 days in the local hospital of elmer and within hours of hosp discharge with head injury i am left alone in a city i know nothing about One of the worst aspects of this place is that the rooms are connected to the treatment area, patients have to wear wrist bands and lanyards around their neck, you never feel good about being their. Btw the food is horrible and beware of bedbugs and more The blackout period is crazy esp if you have a spouse or kids and even after that they only allow 30 min a week for outside contact, no tv, no newspapers,no books. Hell no coffe wtf.......fu...nuts really horrible punish the addict style of treatment. There are many much better places that wont leave you or family alone in a city they dont know right after hosp release with head injury. Please dont dont trust them and dont trust the 5vstar reviews on this page, Idont doubt something not straight up going on, my educated opinion.My expierence could not have been worse as well as many others that were there. You are made to feel like cattle tagged and directed,the groups offer nothing that you cant recieve for free in AA or NA in fact in those groups you get much more out of,here you cant even express yourself freely

Only care about making money off of people who need help. They grab your phone and cut you off from the outside world as they are busy calling you insurance company to keep you there as long as possible. You dont need to spend a fortune for groups of people to tell you to follow the 12 steps. Thats all they do. Poorly run, ignorant staff, no downtime and minimal contact with family, friends, loved ones. In summary, pack them in, make money. Dont waste your time. They brag about their philosophy but trust me, its nothing more than do the 12 steps. Hardly innovative. HORRIBLE FOOD! Chicken and Beef poorly prepared every day. The owner will drop in every once in a while with his super high priced car and talk to the current suckers. Aftercare is a joke too, mindless chatter with no real aftercare. Go to NA or AA and save yourself the train wreck money making scheme called Seabrook House.

1. Seabrook has great food 2. The staff is mostly nice but very slow paced and there usually a lot if confusion. 3. When my Family tried to reach me there they had a cry difficult time, no one called them back. 4. I went in bc they said they could treat both my detox and medical xondionts, NOT TRUE. They kicked me out bc they couldnt help me. 5. The put you on strange amounts of meds so please be careful. 6. My intake took forever but when I was forced out it was done immediately, hmmm 7. Great community among the women I met there, everyone is so friendly. Best of luck

I was there for 28 Days, No it wasnt a party, it was a "Time out" for me. I needed help, they gave me a nice, clean environment, with plenty of water, fruit and food. The Staff was great. They educated me. I put into it everything I could, and still I relapsed. But continued the fight with the tools I got from this place. I am now Sober. Loving my Life. Thank you Seabrook House. Anyone who says otherwise, is just not ready. Its takes work, again these places are not meant for a wonderful time. It has a purpose and this place has it all. Thanks again Seabrook house.

My daughter was in there 2 times and they did no good fir her. They seem to care more about the money than the patient. Put a $500 charge on my credit card and said it would be taken off if she didnt get stuff at store and if ins didnt pay. Well that was a lie, they never put back on my charge and then fin d out today that my ins co. Pd more than they were supposed and they are going for a retraction.. I would recommend livingrin foundation in Bensalem Pa. They have helped my daughter tremendously. Them I would give 5 stars.

Seabrook House was so understanding of my familys situation with our daughter. They explained everything to me about the whole recovery process and kept in contact with my husband and I while our daughter was away in treatment. They worked quickly to get our daughter placed into treatment. Less than 24 hours after my initial phone call, she was on her way to getting the help she needed. I cant express my gratitude enough!!! I recommend the company to anyone dealing with a loved one in need of help!

they only want your money!!!! Had a horrible experience. crowed detox rooms, you will not get switched to recover side when they say your do. nothing on the pamphlet is actually there. the food is so bad you wont want to eat for a month. and ZERO confidentiality!! Youll tell a nurse something personal and everyone there will know about it within the hour. please save yourself the money and go else where.

My fiancé is at this moment being discharged from Seabrook House because they cant handle his "boisterous attitude ". This is the second time he is being discharged from Seabrook House after 3 days. He tried to overdose and kill himself last week. I once again get him into a treatment facility and they are making him leave! Thank You Kindra Ciannilli

You MUST accept the 12 Step Program at this facility. It is cult-like. My family was told I would be able to stay on my non-opioid pain med. Wrong. My family was told the facility would be able to accommodate the special needs required of my severe arthritis. Wrong. This place is a cookie cutter one plan treats all program.

In 2007, I had a bad experience trying to work with someone at this company and then again just recently in I had similar experience in 2017. Seabrook House provides quality substance abuse treatment. I just would not recommend them based on my experience with this one gentleman at the company.

What can I say about a place that refuses to take a patient back because he relapsed too soon? I would have hoped they would still want to help a person regargless the time frame. ( 4 months). One Star is too much.
