I am so sad Dr. Bogar moved. Here are two tips for the practice now: 1) It would be nice if the new doctor was a little more friendly. This lady berated my husband when he was trying to talk to her about what medicines Dr. Bogar wrote for him. She was beyond rude to him. She had nothing but mean comments to say about his weight, and medical conditions he has. Shes lucky we didnt report her to the Board of Medicine for being so rude. 2) It REALLY would have been nice if they informed us about Dr. Bogar leaving. He got to the doctor only to be told Dr. Bogar no longer works there. Now we have to search up and down in the area to figure out who is a GOOD doctor and who will LISTEN and actually treat us with RESPECT. I cant believe she quit working here. I really enjoyed her.

Dr Bogar has been my PCP for over 6 years. I recently visited Dr Mcelhaney after my wife set my appointment. The woman stated that it would be no problem getting my prescriptions refilled since I was seen by Dr Bogar previously. My impression of the new practice is that its very poorly run. The doctor is rude, unhelpful, and has horrible bedside manner. After 6 years of successful treatment of my multiple disorders, this doctor wants to change up my medication completely, and stated she refused to prescribe what has always worked in the past. I ended up walking out I was so unhappy with her. If you previously saw Dr Bogar, DO NOT waste your time and money on this poor excuse for a practitioner.

Black lady that sits at front desk has a NASTY attitude does not want to be a front desk lady clearly. A month ago I had the flu and was 5 minutes late for my appointment and she wanted to CANCEL AND RESCHEDULE because I was 5 minutes late.... I had the flu!!!!!! Today my stepdad went and has same insurance info and my mom who goes there and me but he needed to show HIS OWN insurance card in order to be seen. Was told he will get charged for full visit without insurance card. Simple call to confirm he was on the insurance as well is all it would have taken.... lazy lazy lazy..... Dr Bogar where did u go!!!

Dr. Bogar is the most professional and caring doctor Ive had the pleasure to know since Dr. Kevin OBrien in the 70s. He passed several years ago, as did the other Dr. of the same high calibre, Dr. Osa Nyman (a D.O.) still among us, & Dr. Geronimo Lluberas, also deceased. We take time to complain but not appreciate the ones who can truly call themselves, M.D.s, vs, the "clinicians" that take our money and do little for our health, per se. I started going to Kennesaw Family Medicine earlier this year. The place is clean, the staff is organized, nice and very helpful. I feel Dr. McElhaney is professional and I actually prefer her over my previous doctor from a different practice. Reading the reviews it seems that the poor reviewers are from patients who previously saw Dr. Bogar. which leads me to think that they are more upset with change. I personally have not had any unpleasant interactions with the staff or the doctor.

I was a former patient of Dr. Bogars for many years and she was fabulous. I was very saddened to find out she sold her practice but I decided to try the new MD. Not the same at all. Rude, arrogant, didnt want to take time to listen, no interest in getting to know a new patient. I will not be returning.

This practice is no longer run by Dr. Bogar who was fantastic. The new doctor and her receptionist obviously know nothing about family medicine. Its tough to get an appointment here (you might have to wait a month) and then youll be made to feel guilty that youre bothering them. I found another doctor.

Im so sorry that Dr. Bogar left. The process for transitioning, or even considering transitioning, to the new physician has been painful and the rude receptionist makes it clear to us that our family of five patients will be seeking another primary care physician. We miss you, Dr. Bogar!!!

My husband and I both see Dr. McElhaney and find that she is firm and thorough. Her front desk staff and nurses and friendly and made us feel comfortable coming through the door for each visit. We are so happy to have found them.

My husband went and he really liked her but we got a bill for $244 ! It was just a RX visit and I went to an orthopedic surgeon and that was only $109 ? He has to go 3 time a year and I have to2 times, we cant afford that!
