My best friends mother was a patient here as her primary care physician. Unfortunately, she passed away at 56 years old due to complications from a surgery at Redmond regional. This was very traumatic and my friend was left to handle everything. Once we got the paperwork needed from the life insurance we contact the clinic and were consistently not only given the run around but treated like a burden. We ended up having to drive over an hour and a half to the office to speak to Barbara as she refused to work with us over the phone and made us bring the death certificate directly to her in person. Once we got there we were instructed to push a button and wait for her to come out of a door. Once she appeared, she barely came out of the door and asked for the certificate to make a copy and closed the door behind her. When she came back out she peaked her head out, handed the original to my friend and then began to close the door again without any help. We literally had to start quickly asking her questions as she continued to close the door that she had barely peaked out of in the first place barely providing any answers to our inquiries. Instead we were just left with a "Well call you when its ready" which has not proven to be reliable either. My friend was so upset about the entire situation and her lack of compassion or helpfulness that she broke down and cried when we left. This has been such an awful and atrocious experience in such a traumatic and devastating time in my friends life and it kills me to see her treated so poorly by so called professionals.

Do not give them your email address when you are filling out your paperwork. Two spam emails in one week already, and no way to unsubscribe!!!! Additionally, went to see Dr. Warren here and will not be returning. I filled out on my paperwork what I use for birth control, the nurse asked what I used, even though it was on the paperwork, she wrote it on my paperwork in huge words two more times, then he walked in and asked what I used. I told him, yet again, that I was married and what we were using. He looked down, saw the huge words, then looked up at me and asked what birth control I used with my boyfriend, in addition to the birth control I use with my husband. Extremely rude and it was not presented as a joke.

Dr. Secrest has been my doctor for over 5 years and I am consistently happy with the level of care that I receive at the Family Medicine Cartersville office. She is knowledgeable, caring and most importantly, allows me input into my own care program. The office staff is always courteous and efficient. I cant say enough nice things about Dr. Secrest and this office. Thank you for doing your best in this changing world of medical practice that exists today.

Doctor seemed great when dealing with me. I came to establish a new primary care physician. I needed help bringing my blood glucose down and Dr. Fields ordered blood work. I needed this fixed pretty quick. Well three days later and they havent bothered sending a prescription in for new meds. I wont be going back. They just dont care.

I love my Dr. And and the staff is great. The only problem is trying to call and get an appointment. Sometimes I am on hold for 20-30 minutes before someone picks up the phone. Sometimes I call and the system hangs up. It is very frustrating. This is the only problem. I would recommend them but i hope they fix the phone system.
