I started going to Willow Creek after a friend told me about how great it was. The first few times I went were actually really good, I had a male vet who was nice and patient. Im not sure he is still there because after the first few initial visits I wasnt able to see him and thats when it went downhill. Ive had several bad experiences there, including being ignored by the staff at the front desk for 10-20 minutes but Ill just go into the two worst visits. I scheduled an appointment for my boyfriends dog and when we got there we waited for FOURTY FIVE minutes in the lobby for someone to see us. After we had taken time to schedule an appointment the wait was still almost an hour. As you can imagine our dog was pretty high strung by that time, even though he was calm when we left the house. We finally got back to the room and the vet tech took him in the back. This is something they do every time Im there and I hate it. I dont want my dog out of my sight because who knows what theyre doing back there to him. Anyway she came back with him and started talking about how bad he was. This dummy said "hes a one person dog" to his TWO owners standing in the room. What? Honestly its not the dogs fault that hes high strung after waiting in a crowded room with other dogs for almost an hour. You really expect a dog to be on his best behavior after that? When you take him away from his owners and show no patience for him? Absolutely no understanding. Its really disturbing that her first reaction was to blame the dog. People like that should not be working with animals in my opinion. That was a terrible experience, and really showed how little compassion the staff there has for peoples pets, but I still kept going back for some reason. The second incident was horrible and made me vow to never take ANY pet there again. I took my little dog in to get groomed. She had never been groomed at willow creek before, but the last place she went (diggity dog resort) the staff there literally said "Shes such a sweet girl. she was an angel the whole time. We all loved her. We wish we could keep her here." That tells me she is not a difficult dog to groom, and she has always seemed like she enjoys being pampered when Ive gotten her groomed previously. WHEN I PICKED HER UP FROM WILLOW CREEK SHE WAS TRAUMATIZED. SHE WAS NOT THE SAME DOG FOR OVER A MONTH. I dont know what they did to her, but she had a cut on her neck. I felt so terrible, like I was the worst dog mom ever for taking her there. I promised her she would never walk through those doors again. I will never take her back but if I did I bet she would freak out as soon as she realized where we were. It made me cry when I realized how scarred she was from that experience. I WILL NEVER TRUST AN ANIMAL WITH WILLOW CREEKS STAFF AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. THEY ARE OVER PRICED, SNOOTY, AND THEY DONT GIVE A F*CK ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS COMFORT

NEVER take your dog to Willow Creek Pet Center. We just got through one of the toughest weeks of our lives. 2 weeks ago we had our Bulldog checked by the vet (so she could be accepted for boarding at a different location) they couldnt believe what great condition she was in. When we came home from our 4 day vacation our dog was acting "off" which was to be somewhat expected. We waited 1 day to monitor improvements as she was not eating or drinking in line with our normal routine and was favoring her back leg. We scheduled an appointment, literally one week from the previous appointment, to ensure nothing was seriously wrong. After X-Rays and Blood tests we were told that our bulldog was still in excellent condition but had arthritis in her back leg. (Which we already knew) While examining her they noticed she had some bad teeth and recommended we have them pulled. We of course agreed and were told around 7:00pm that they would pull the teeth the following day and we could come get her after. My wife specifically asked, "Do you think shell be in good enough condition to have this procedure done in the morning?" We were told, "Absolutely. Well give her some fluids and shell be right back to where she was a week ago." We left extremely happy and were glad we had nothing to worry about. 4 hours later we received a call from the Night Tech being told our dogs heart suddenly stopped and they had no idea why. We were asked if we wanted them to try and revive her and of course we said "Yes." It was too late. When we went to see her my wife and I repeatedly asked "What happened to her? 4 hours ago you guys couldnt believe what great condition she was in." The Night Tech repeatedly told us, "I dont know" which I understood because she was not the Doctor that treated her. We then called the next day asking everyone who would listen, "What happened to our dog?" We were still given, "I dont knows" and thats what we have to live with. Nobody accountable, nobody being forthright which is extremely important good, bad,or ugły. Our family lost a piece of our puzzle and its horrible. We immediately called another facility to deal with the aftermath and were told, "We will not release your dog until all charges are paid in full." Seriously?!? How much do we owe you for taking our "amazing" dog from us?! I WOULD DEFINITELY RATE THIS A ZERO IF IT WERE AN OPTION. Remember your pet might not be coming home after you leave there regardless of what youre told.

i am shocked to read all the negative reviews on this place! i have a chihuahua/pug mix who ingested one of my prescription Adderall and i brought him in at 11:30 at night and they were phenomenal with him, they told me he had gotten into some recreational drugs so i did not make the connection to my prescription drugs right away, i kept telling them no, he was not exposed to any recreational drugs until my friend pointed out that my prescription was amphetamines and thats when it hit me and i was able to tell them exactly what he got! Even though they suspected he had gotten illegal drugs, they never treated me with anything but the utmost respect. I was so upset i called them at 530am to check on him and they told me how he was doing and said i could come see him anytime. When i arrived to visit him, they brought me into the back rooms where he was in a cage and they let me hold him and pet him and he was still pretty.whacked out on the adderall but they had him on iv fluids and i was able to pick him up that night and he was back to his old self again. i couldnt be happier with their services. i was pretty freaked out when i brought him in and everyone was kind and professional and sincere. i recommend them to everyone. i never saw or heard anything that made me concerned about the quality of care my dog was receiving, i did see caring professionals dealing with very emotional situations and handling them with calm and sincere responses. I was so impressed with the people who worked the graveyard shift i brought them 2 dozen crispy creme donuts to say thank you!. i wonder if people have considered what a difficult job these people have and the volume of emergency situations they deal with every day and night. i know i personally couldnt handle the stress or the emotions involved when someone is looking to you to save their beloved pet. It is a huge responsibility and i think the staff takes their jobs very seriously. They saved my dogs life and i would not hesitate to take my Rico there again. Thank you again Willowcreek staff!
