I cant think of a better place to take my best friend for his health needs. I first came to Dr. Brady when I moved to AZ. Dr. Brady became my dogs Vet. by recommendation of a family member. Unfortunately, No too long after moving here both my dogs one because terminal illness and the other one because of old age,needed to be assisted on their path to dogie heaven. Dr. Brady and her staff were absolutely wonderful, they were sympathetic and supportive throughout a most difficult time. I have to mention that Dr. Brady gave me wise advise and help reiterating that this needed to be done in the best interest of my lovely dogs as their quality of life had quickly deteriorated and medication was no longer an option in helping them ease their suffering. It took several years for me to feel that I was ready to bring another dog into my life. My rescued friend happened to be in poor health when I first met him at the shelter, this time it was Dr. Koehn who came to the rescue. I initially asked for Dr. Brady remembering how great she had been with my previous pets. But, after our initial visit with Dr. Koehn I knew my new best friend was in the right hands. Dr. Koehn and the staff at Best Friends have gone out of their way to help my dog in his recovery. He is now after just a few months from our initial meeting a whole new being. He is healthy and happy at his second chance in life. We both have to thank the team effort of BFAH for this. I would advise anyone under any circumstances that if you are looking for care for your four legged friends (or any number of legs for that matter) Do Not Hesitate to visit Best Friends Animal Hospital. They have been a blessing to me and my best friends in good and difficult times alike. To the whole staff at BFAH. From your biggest fans sincerely, THANK YOU!

We were takeing our pup in for her year shots and to heart worm meds they told us that they could get us a year supply how ever do to the cost we asked if we could get a a perscription so we could get but it online and thats when they told us it would cost 60 bucks to test her. Then when they were examing her they had 3 people hold her down and muzzled her. My dog is 30lbs and small jack ruslle mix she was scared they would not let me try and help keep her calm let alone just stand just so she could see me when i stood up she asked me to sit down and then lectued we about our dogs behaiver sitll while holding her down. When they lether go she run and sat under our chair while the vet tried tò sell us on other tests and preventive medicine. I would not go back to this vet unless u have abunch of cash and want to feed your dog a punch of crap they dont need. Just not a good vist for us.

I was sad to see negative reviews, because our experiences with multiple pets were wonderful. We have 4 rescue dogs and a senior cat. All were handled gently and with kindness and reassurance. We never felt rushed, all of our (many!) questions were answered, we were treated with respect. One of our rescue dogs, Mia, was very ill when I brought her home from the pound. The vet at Best Friends recommended a canine neurologist who diagnosed a serious liver issue and ultimately saved Mias life. To me, a sure sign of a good vet goes beyond giving excellent treatment in his/her clinic. It also means knowing when a specialist is needed instead of trying to guess - or simply saying "I dont know." The staff at this clinic are exceptional. I highly recommend.

$79 for a Cat neuter with a free neuter voucher from Maricopa County... My vet charges that without a voucher, that is why I waited for 4 hours to get the voucher. They pretty much told me they were not experienced with neutering a cat stating they only do a few a day verses multiples per day like a spay neuter "factory". Very poor communication and customer service. I will not recommend nor will I take any of my other animals here. Beware they are money hungry.

I have two great danes and the vet actually sat right down on the floor with one of them to check him out! they are doing everything they can to figure out what is wrong with him..My dog LOVES the vet dr..appreciate all they work with "help save our homes pet charity" so people in foreclosure save their pets...not leave them behind or let their pets suffer because of costs. Amazing place. Thank you!

Took in my pup for some vaccinations shots and to have some odd bumps that appeared examined. The Vet showed very little effort in researching and simply replied that they didnt know what the bumps were. They charged me $120 for the shots and some steroids and said good luck. Just my opinion, but when you dont know how to fix something you dont charge them for the exam.

The doctor who saw us was great in our need to notify us that our puppy passed. As if the loss of my dog wasnt hard enough, how were we greated by the inconsiderate receptionist, that was 1 step closer to getting thrown thru a window for talking as she did, as we asked for help for our pet who was not breathing. Her response being, "I can see that, hold on."

Terrible customer service and they nearly let my dog die! Thank God for 1st Pet Veterinary Center. The front desk ladies at Best Friends Animal Hospital should be fired for how rude they were. No need for the amount of disrespect my family and I had to deal with.

Wow..used to love this place....girl on the phone was rude as hell.....Im done with them Call me to tell me my animal needs something. Then tell me I gotta jump thru hoops .. Fire the lazy chick that answers the phone!!!!

Absolutely love this place. Couldnt ask for a better vet. Kind, caring, price conscience, everything you could ask for. Dr. Brady has an awesome table side manor.

They treated our cats like they were their own pets. Doctor Widener was very comforting when we had to have Freddy put to sleep.
