I went in for a routine check-up and cleaning, all of which is supposed to be covered under my dental plan for a $10 co-pay. The next thing you know they were charging me an extra $20 for as "panoramic xray" (in addition to the normal 8 panels). And by the way, the doctor spent less than 2 seconds examining the panoramic xrays! Now, I have no cavities and have never had any additional dental work done in my 53 years. But all of the sudden his office wants to charge me an additional $207 for an "advanced cleaning" of my teeth. So, the bottom line: My usual $10 visit has now ballooned into $237. And the office refused to give me my normal cleaning, which is covered by my insurance! Interestingly, when I called back to complain, someone at the office told me this happens regularly to other patients . . So, accordingly, Ive decided to lodge a compliant with the Attorney Generals Office and the Florida Department of Business Regulation to investigate overcharging and over-billing at this office.

This office was covered by my insurance, so they were my first choice. Although Dr. Williamson, Sarai, and Maria were all kind and caring people, and I am satisfied with my permanent crown, the office was just too unreliable for me to continue going. One incident is understandable, but I had to schedule 4 appointments and three of them had to be delayed because the doctor was sick or the power was out. And one of those visits would have been avoidable if the PCC had been patient and guaranteed that my temporary crown had been fitted comfortably. But she used too much cement on my temporary crown, which caused me a bit of pain. Again, most of the people at this office are attentive and good, but the front desk is lacking in organization and communication among the receptionists, and the whole process could have gone much smoother if they had been more reliable.

I am a past patient of Dr. WILLIAMSON. I HAD contacted him on Tuesday about a crown that came out. He told me to come in and they would work me in. I arrived and spoke to Sarai the office manager. And I was in the back in a chair with in 5 minutes without having an appointment. We fixed my issue and worked on another one. I have never felt more at home with all the pleasant people there. Friendly and willing to assist u in everyday they can. Nikia Aka Kia and Maria aka Rose took care of me like i was the only one in there. Its nice when u find a family oriented place that makes u feel comfortable in a stressful situation. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND EVERYTHING U DID FOR ME. I RECOMMEND COAST DENTAL OVIEDO TO EVERYONE! I have an appointment with Noreen the hygentist when i go back in a few to get a great cleaning from her! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!

Everyone in the office was very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Williamson was polite, detailed, and funny which helped to ease my daughters nerves. The Dental Asst., Maria, was very funny as well and described the various procedures for a better understanding all around. We are a family that needs the details and full understanding before moving forward and this team is exactly what weve been looking for! Not only that, but Bruna, the Front Office Asst., was on top of it all! She had our next appointments ready before we signed out, she had the next steps laid out and ready for discussion, and the closest Endodontist location to our home. Its the little things that really make this location our new home for Dental procedures! Thank you Dr. Williamson and Team!

Ive had a cleaning appointment scheduled for 6 months (this was only my second visit to this practice). I arrived 5 mins early to find a locked front door. I waited until the receptionist finally unlocked the door and she says "Are you waiting for us"? I said yes, that I had an 8:30 appt and she informs me that they had called and canceled all appts because the doctor is in Chicago. I replied that I hadnt received a call. She checks her computer and asks if I was there to see the doctor or for a cleaning. For a cleaning I reply. "Oh our hygienist doesnt work on Tuesdays any more". Again - no call?! At this point the obvious choice is to request my records and x-rays to go. A very unprofessional office and an unpleasant experience, to say the least.

Ive been to a couple dentists and have never had an experience like this. My first visit, i waited an hour and a half past my appointment time. The staff did not mention what was taking so long or inform me how much longer it would be. I was due for a cleaning, but the staff failed to inform me that the first visit would only be X-rays. They made me come back for another appointment for the cleaning, thus charging me an additional office fee. The hygienist was rude and did not say 2 words to me the entire cleaning, which only lasted 15 minutes by the way. There were no comments on what was wrong with my teeth, if anything, or any friendliness whatsoever. The dentist did not even look at my teeth. I wont be coming back.

I had a great visit, they took care of me and my wife. They were very thorough and kept me informed during the whole visit. Dr. Williamson is very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining what all I needed done and took into consideration of my pain I had from the mess ups that the military did on my teeth. The staff helped me understand what the plan was to help me get my smile back. She explained the plan and steps that I needed to take. Maria Rosa and Sarai were very friendly has helpful even though my kids were loud, they still made us feel at home. Thank you all for helping me get my life back and not be embarrassed about smiling or talking to people without worrying about my teeth.

This office is incredible! From start to finish, their stellar performance is due to the combined efforts of the staff. The front desk receptionist was very nice and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The hygienist was very friendly and kept me informed of all aspects of my visit to keep me informed of what was happening. The dentist was very professional, nice and relatable (unlike other dentists who come off as high and mighty) . His pleasant and down-to-earth demeanor was very appreciated. All things considered, my wife and I were very satisfied with this office and our decision to visit them. We will definitely continue to use this office as our "dental home"!

Probably the worst dentist I have ever been to. They are liars and scammers. Told me I needed all these procedures I didnt need. I went to a specialist to get a second opinion and found all of the information they gave me to be false. Stay away from strip mall dentists like them. take a look at their reviews on yelp to get even more of a real feel for this place. Theyre terrible. *update*They also just sent me an invoice telling me my insurance company didnt cover everything and when I spoke with my insurance they are stating everything should have been covered.

I went for a visit, the doctor at the time was pretty nice. Anyway he devised a plan and at my next appointment came in to find he was gone and a new doctor was there and they were establishing him with the different insurances. Needless to say I was pissed that I was not notified. I am a single working mother and my time is beyond valuable. Then the service I received from the receptionist was awful, just rude! I have since signed up for PPO coverage so that I would not have to be limited to this office. No way I would ever want to go back there.
