I hardly ever write reviews, but feel like its necessary in this case. This office does not accept insurance which was explained to us. However, when I called to make our appointment I asked what the typical cost of a cleaning and first office visit would be so that I could check what portion would be covered by my PPO insurance and was told by the office lady that there was no way to know until my kids were seen. This shouldve been a red flag, but they had such great reviews I decided to give them a shot. Turns out that they knew good and well that they charge over $600 for two children to get a basic cleaning and x-rays and even knew that my specific insurance was only going to cover about $200 of that (they make you pay up front at the end of the visit before they bill the insurance. The already know an estimate of how much the different insurance companies typically cover). I of course only come to find this out AFTER both kids were seen and was given the bill to pay. I feel very taken advantage of after having ended up paying over $450 for a very basic cleaning and x-rays and wish they wouldve been upfront about the ridiculously high price when I specifically asked them when making the appointment. It was a nice office, but NOT worth the price. Now I know why they werent upfront about the cost. Needless to say, we will not be returning and will instead be going back to a fantastic pediatric dentist we really loved and had visited with my son and who accepts insurance even if its a 45 minute drive from our house.

I am conflicted in writing this review. On one hand, I feel it important that others benefit from our experience with Dr. King and his staff. On the other hand, I am concerned that if “word gets out” it will be difficult (impossible) to get an appointment because their office will be so busy with new patients. We were referred to Dr. King by our pediatrician (I think…wife would know for sure). From our first visit we knew right away we hit the dentist-lottery. Clean facility, child friendly waiting areas, great staff, and a fantastic dentist. Here are some of the memories which bring a smile to my face: the balloon clown that surprised our son in his dental chair one visit; the tooth that got knocked out at the playground and the voice on the other end of the phone that said “bring him right in, we’ll make time to see him now”; the big smiles from making it to the “no cavity” list; and a child that actually looks forward to seeing his dentist. My only disappointment is that one day our son will be too old to be a patient! Oh, and we drive from Vero Beach to see him, worth every minute of the trip.

I was referred to Dr. King by a family friend, and I am so happy that I gave his office a try. Where to begin? The office setting is beautiful, clean, and really demonstrates Dr. King’s commitment to providing world class treatment to our children. On one side of the reception area is a cute little theatre and the other side is an area for older children with gaming consoles. My children look forward to being here. The hygienists are equally impressive. They are well spoken, polite, and take a sincere interest in every conversation they have with both parents and children alike. The staff always exceeds my expectations. Finally, Dr. King is an amazing dentist whose ability to build rapport and entertain the children is refreshing and a reward in its own. My daughters always feel comfortable and enjoy speaking with Dr. King. Dr. King is fair and trustworthy. I highly recommend him, and so do my daughters.

"Exceptional" After scheduling with 2 different general dentist and 1 oral surgeon over the past 2 days; My adventure came to an end after visiting Dr. Kings office. I called yesterday for an emergency visit and was seen this morning, thanks to Dr. Kings wonderful receptionist, who understood a mothers instinct for help. (Always go with your motherly instincts) The extra years Dr. King spent specializing with children truly shows and he definitely made my daughters appointment a breeze. The way he interacted with her and the techniques he used to get my daughter through her dental appointment lead me to my "Ah ha" moment! Why wasnt I bringing my child to Dr. King, a pediatric dentist, in the 1st place? What would take a general dentist 2 hours took Dr. King 30 minutes! Thank you Dr. King and staff for making my daughters visit easy.........peasy!

Weve been going to Dr. King for 20 years and I have NEVER had a bad experience. They are on-time, very nice and professional, and Dr. King knows his stuff. The office is awesome with video games, a playhouse, and the staff is wonderful with kids. My kids have no issues going to the dentist, and weve gone every six months for the last 20 years. When my first daughter turned 18 she was disappointed that she had to go to a different dentist! He is out of network on my dental insurance but my Humana plan will accept out-of-network dentists and I have to pay the difference, which is nominal. Thanks Dr. King, you rock!

Such Wonderful office! Guliann was a wonderful assistant and Dr King is so gentle and pleasant! They are very informative when it comes to explaining what is going on with your childs mouth! My little Willow will be going back until she is grown that is for sure! The front desk is so sweet and professional! Youll have a great experience the moment you walk in until you leave!

Dr. King is awesome! Ive been a patient for almost 19 years now. He hooked us up this morning when we had a tooth knocked out. He replied by text at 2am and by 10am the tooth was repaired and we were back to normal activities! Highly recommend him as a primary dentist and for immediate emergencies!
