Ill say Dr Obeime seems to be a great Dr, knowledgeable and understanding... the low rating however is due to his staff which leaves much to be desired. Im going to start with the receptionist, front desk girl...whatever her title is.. Caucasian young lady with glasses and brown hair. She is extremely rude with a nasty and off putting disposition. She makes you almost just want to cancel your appt and go somewhere else which is terrible for the actual Dermatologist. The other ladies, whom are African American dont seem as bad as she is in the way of nasty attitudes, they just kind of stare at you rather than greet you as a patient which I found rather odd. But my focus here is the front desk girl... I aim to find out her name and do a formal complaint because I have never felt so insulted during something as simple as checking in for an appointment at a medical facility or otherwise. Words of advice to Dr Obeime, if you want your business to flourish, either have a talk with this young lady about her customer service skills or rather lack there of, and how to properly deal with your clinets (in a respectful and pleasant manner) or replace her, because I assure you after I left I asked around to my friends who referred me as well as others who I know have been to Dr Obeime and they all have the same complaint about her. This is going to start to make your company as a whole look bad and drive potential great patients away.

I figured it would be a good experience from the web reviews and figured I would go to this dermatologist since hes melenated like I am but it was a mistake. For starters his jokes were rude and off color and Im sure I could possible file a lawsuit for them. I discussed our interaction with my Facebook friends and a couple of them had been to him too and said he also had rude and inappropriate jokes with them. I told his assistants I was leaving town in a week and somehow they need me to come back in for another appointment to fill out paperwork before they can prescribe me anything. What was the purpose of my first appointment? How come the paperwork wasnt done then. Going to his office was a complete waste of my time and my current health insurance providers funds. If I werent already leaving town Id just say Im not going back but I think others need to know. This office was very unprofessional, inefficient, nobody has time to be taking all kinds of days off for doctors appointments. Plus the jokes were bad! I have plaque and guttate psoriasis. He asked if I had a husband, I said no, then he was like "With all that all over your body I see why".

So this was the terrible experience I had with them. I had some concerns about my lip skin, so I went there. The dr Christphor made inappropriate jokes all the way through the visit which made me so uncomfortable. He was rude and his assistant seemed not that professional or welcoming. Then he dignosed me nothing, said Im fine anywhere. I thought it was good. Then I got a bill from them fully charged 116dollars by being told I dont need anything. I tried to call them and ask if itd be any discount on that, since I didnt get any treatment or medications. The girl whoever picked the call didnt try to help. She said only thing you had to do was to call your insurance. The charging price was not determined by my insurance company. I was so disappointed by their attitudes and services. They didnt seem to care about feedbacks. There you go. I really hope you can think about to improve the services.

Dr. Obeime and his staff are a blessing. They are always welcoming, helpful, and kind. I used to be so insecure about my sensitive, acne-riddled skin. Dr. Obeime made my acne disappear in high school, helped clear up multiple severe skin reactions, and even kept me from scarring! My acne came back again full force in my mid-twenties and again, he not only made the acne clear up, but he even corrected my oily clogged pores AND my patches of severely dry, flaky skin. He is amazing. I wouldnt go to anyone else. He saved my skin and gave me back my self confidence.

Dr. Obeime was a very knowledgeable and personable doctor. The reason I wouldnt recommend his office to anyone was because of the rest of the staff. Unauthorized tests were performed during a follow-up visit which led to an outlandish bill ($750+, out of pocket), then a lack of assistance with billing questions. No follow-up done on my questions and never received a call back from the nurse.

I have always had a great and wonderful experience with Dr. Obemie and his staff. I have been going there off and on for over 15 years. I have had exceptional results and have always enjoyed how welcome they make me feel. Making another apportionment to go back again today!

Dr. Obeime and his staff are true professionals! They have always been so quick to assist me with several of my dermatology needs ranging in sorosis, pre-cancerous issues and other misc items. I find them fairly priced and flexible with billing arrangements as needed.
