I found a pitbull bleeding and limping near my house in Greenwich. Someone abandoned it there, apparently throwing him from a moving car. He had bites, bruises and welts all over him, his chest was seriously cut up and bleeding and he collapsed when I walked up to him. Being a new resident I did not know where to go. I spoke with a friend and he called Wilwynn. They took him in right away, nursed his injuries, kept him for four days while he recovered, gave him all of his shots, and got him back on his feet. They did not charge me anything for this. The entire staff was sincerely interested in the dogs story and treated him with love and affection and professional care. I am taking care of the pitbull now and he is doing worlds better than when I first found him and without the help of Wilwynn Animal Hospital, their staff, and Dr. he might not have made it. My experience with Wilwynn is that they love animals and take most excellent care of them. I shall never forget what they did.

Love Dr. Bill and his entire staff. While traveling with my cat (on a Sunday) she began having a hard time breathing and was distressed. We had to stop at a emergency vet in Maryland. They called Dr. Bill, got all of her records and consulted with him the entire time. Once stable and we were back on the raod, Dr. Bill called twice to make sure she was doing well. I can always count on him and his staff to treat my ca,t as well as myself, with kindness. She is now 14 years old and going strong due to Dr. Bill. Excellent, compassionate and the best example of what a vet (and person) should be.

My Chihuahua, Lucy, has been attacked three times by our other dog, Molly. I took her to the emergency hospital the first time and ended up with a huge bill, and I was treated very poorly. The second time, I took her to Dr. Mac. He treated me with dignity and respect. They kept her overnight for observation and discharged her with medication for pain and infection. This time, Dr. Macs office staff said I could pick up the same medications she had before to spare me some expense. I appreciate it more than they could possibly know. I will take my dogs nowhere else.

How do You rate Excellent. I met Dr. Bill when our German Shepherd could barely walk. Dr Bill went way out of His way to help Us. Our Shepherd " Kirby" is my best friend and my Shadow to see Him in pain and discomfort it broke my heart. Dr. Bill was very, very, understanding and treated Kirby as if Kirby were His own Dog. It has been several weeks since Dr. Bill took over care of Kirby and today Kirby is out running with our Border Collie, swimming and doing really good. Dr Bill is the best, I have been taking my animals there since I was a little boy I`m now 43. He has always been so nice and caring to me and all my family. I met him through my uncle who only had 1 leg Jim who passed away years ago but introduced me to Dr Bill when I was a kid. I just had my English mastiff in for a hernia fix and to get him fixed and Dr Bill was his same self he has always been since I was a kid a compassionate caring veterinarian . If you have animals and you want the best care see Dr Bill he`s truly the best and a true gentleman.

Ive been using Dr Bill for 30+ years. He is now the vet for the third generation of our family. He is the most caring vet I have ever known. When my daughter was a new born and my dog was hit by a car, he came to my house at 11:30 at night so I didnt have to take the baby out. My dog Sam was 2 years old at the time. With Dr Bills care he lived to be 14. This is just one of the many wonderful stories I have about this caring compassionate man.

Dr Mac is great, staff isnt always the friendliest, its almost impossible to get through on the phones, and youre going to wait no less than an hour (on a good day) on hard wooden benches to be seen.

Doc Mac and the assistants are great but there is almost always a crazy wait. Nonetheless I do drive 20 minutes out of my way to use this vet because they are very helpful and not too expensive.
