My wife and I had rescued two cats. One on the streets and one from ACCT, an animal rescue shelter. With the first cat, we didnt have an appointment, but walked in anyway to Dr. Petfixer. We were afraid of our new cat having rabies or any other communicable diseases. Mackayla, the receptionist, was very warm and inviting despite our lack of appointment. She fit us in in their next available opening that same day! Their facilities and staff are clean and very professional. The receptionist as well as Dr. Monteiro were very warm and friendly and very much helpful. With our second cat, we did make an appointment. The appointment process was very easy and very fast. Dr. Monteiro was budget-friendly and offered additional preventitive medicines as an option, not a requirement. She doesnt add pressure, but lets you know the pros and cons of each medicine. Also, Dr. Petfixer sent us a warm welcome letter as well as a wellness check-up phone call weeks later. Both Dr. Monteiro and Mackayla truly care about the animals that come through their facility. They go the extra mile to make sure your pet is comfortable and healthy, both now and in the long run!

Dr. Monteiro and her staff are amazing! Started bringing my cat here when I got him neutered last year, and now I bring him for asthma treatment. They care about the animals and you can tell. They always make sure you leave with all your questions answered and they also make follow up phone calls to make sure your furry family is doing well. Its cheaper than any vet Ive ever been too and I feel like its more personable here, they remember who you are, and its not about cashing out, we all know those vet bills add up quickly and more times than not, its as if vets care about you paying vs the health of your pet. Ive had horrible experiences at other facilities and love bringing my cat to someone who cares! They also have a membership club to where you earn points for money spent, that can be traded in for other services, I havent seen that anywhere else and its amazing that they offer something like that because every penny counts! Thanks to Dr. Monteiro and her staff for doing all they can for my kitty, and for making the dreadful vet trips, not so dreadful!

Dr. Monteiro is always very good to my Airedale Terrier, Brinkley. When he was bitten at doggie day camp, she was able to see him right away and tended to his wound. I was worried about there being a scar on his head when it was done healing, as Airedales when groomed have short hair on their heads...I had nothing to be worried about! It healed beautifully! No scarring! Phew! :) When I call with nervous first pet owner questions, she and her staff are always very patient and answer my questions (no matter how crazy - thank you Kelsey and Judy!!). Dr. Monteiro and her staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, that when I moved back to Philly, I decided not to try to find another vet closer. For Brinkleys sanity and my own - I still will make the commute out to her office...she is that good. Friendly. Knowledgeable. And they dont push product. They honestly only care for your pets well being. Trust me, go see them for your pets needs...you wont be disappointed.

I rescued a female pit and they were going to have her spayed for me...however, I needed to find my own vet to do it because in that short time she became family and I needed to know she was going to be well taken care of. I called around to get pricing on spaying. Dr. Pet Fixer ended up being right down the street from me, had the best price and a coupon for being a first time patient. Well, its been nothing but great with the Dr.s there (Ive seen both) and the staff (theyre so loving toward my Bella). When Bella and I pull up to the office she knows where shes at and she gets excited. I recommend Dr. Pet Fixer to everyone I come upon who needs a vet. They are the best. Im going to be going away and Im going to board my baby girl there and know shell be well taken care of. Im so thrilled I found them! If you need a vet then go to Dr. Pet Fixer. You will not be disappointed!!!

Dr. Monteiro and her staff are like a breath of fresh air after my past several veterinary visits! I was so nice to not be kept waiting for an hour with a nervous, scared dog! Everyone was cheerful and friendly, my dog was able to relax and not lose a pound of hair because of anxiety. The office and exam room were spotless and the staff is knowledgeable. The prices are competitive and I was given an estimate before any vaccinations or procedures were provided. I appreciated that the focus was on my pets overall health and not a sales pitch for foods, supplements and other high profit margin items. I will be bringing all my pets here in the future

EVERY ONE IS SO KIND AND CARING. THEY TAKE EXCELLENT CARE OF YOUR PETS. WHEN I LEFT MY SERVICE DOG THERE TO BE FIXED I DIDNT HAVE TO THINK TWICE ABOUT IT. EVEN WHEN DR. MONTEIRO WAS GOING TO TAKE HIM BACK I ASKED IF I COULD SIT DOWN DUE TO MY HEALTH AND TELL KING I WOULD BE BACK TO PICK HIM UP SHE DIDNT SEEM TO MIND TO GIVE ME THE EXTRA MINUTE I WANTED. THE DR. HAS A HEART OF GOLD FOR THE ANIMALS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 500 PERCENT. THIS IS THE KIND OF VET I WOULD ALWAYS WANT FOR MY ANIMALS. WOULDNT YOU. THEY ALSO TAKE EXCELLENT CARE OF MY MOTHERS 2 CATS.

Dr. Petfixer is amazing. Our dog is very private and does not like to be touched on certain private areas. Dr. and staff do a phenomenal job handling her for her exams, injuries and her grooming. When we have to travel we even boarded our animals there and it was refreshing knowing we did not have to worry. I cannot stress enough how much We love this practice! When we turn into the parking lot Roxy goes crazy and CAN"T WAIT TO GET OUT OF THE CAR AND VISIT DR. PETFIXER. Thank you from Roxy, Lionel and Lucy (and family) for going above and beyond!

We have been going to Dr. Petfixer, Dr. Monteiro for almost 6 years now. She is the best Vet we have found in years! She takes time with you and goes over everything even if it is just for a well visit. She is always on time which is very important to our busy schedules. When we did have an emergency she was getting ready to go home but she stayed so we could run our cat over to check her out. That was extremely kind hearted because I know she has a family waiting for her at home. Thank you Dr. Monteiro for being such a great Vet!

Jenna is a great Vet Tech. She is very caring and pleasant to work with. Dr. Monterio is a wonderful Vet. I use her for my rabbit health needs. She really cares about each animal and is always willing to answer all your questions. If you are looking for a Vet that is going to do the best for your pet and is very through she is it. The best part is she doesnt give unnecessary medications or testing.
