Have been taking my daughter here for 8 years, to Dr Whitehead and now to Stewart for braces. Dr Whitehead is the most gentle mild mannered man, he truly has a relaxed way with children. But more importantly are the hygienists, since they spend so much more time with you, and all of them have always seemed into children, putting them at ease. Because it is pediatric, they are prepared to deal with kids, the office has lots of extras like video games in the waiting room and they give out goodies of course. When we got insurance, and they werent on the plan, I dont care, I pay out of pocket just to stay with this practice. The front office staff too is just so nice and pleasant, you really never see both good doctors and good front staff. We have usually do not waitlonger than 5 min for our appt, they are very organized. When i compliment the staff, they tell me how happy they are working there and how much they all like it. It must come from the top down. They always let me come back with my daughter, and they explain everything they are doing. A wonderful practice all around.

I take my children there and they are the only dentist that they would go to without being scarred. They do great work and I dont typically have to wait long unless my child is getting work done instead of a routine cleaning. I am very pleased with my youngest two childrens visits. I also went to the same dentist when I was a child. My older five would of gone though I heard they closed. Yet I found out just a few years ago they just relocated there office. I was glad to have found them. Their staff is very professional and the dentist as well. It is worth the wait for good service. People need to have patience. Things do come up that may take a little longer. I hope others have as good of an experience as my children and I have had with this Dentist office.

I had to get a tooth pulled out when i was in 3rd grade and Dr. Whitehead came over and gave me some liquid medicine stuff and i asked a simple question, "What is it?" and he responded "Just take it!" uhm.. rude? When i was in the chair, i was scared as any child would be if they didnt know what was going on because some idiot dentist wasnt explaining anything! Dr. Whitehead came over and said "If you dont shut up right now this little boy is going to wake up!" there was another patient sitting behind a wall that was behind me having another procedure. He was quite obviously under anesthesia and wasnt going to wake up from me crying... Dr. Whitehead is an idiot who has no idea how to work with children. I will never waste my money on them again.

I called to see if I could get an appointment for my 2 and a half year old because I was worried about her teeth, and the receptionist scheduled me THAT day. I was so happy to get in so quickly, and once we were there we loved it. My daughter loved the kid-friendly waiting room, and instead of filling out a ton of paperwork for our first visit they have a computer you enter all of your information into. The hygienist was amazing at keeping my daughters attention and managed to get her to stay still to clean her teeth! The dentist was just as great with her, we loved it there.

My children have been going here for about 18 years. With 3 sets of braces I visited this office pretty much once a month for about 8 years. Every person we have encountered whether office staff, dental or orthodontic has been wonderful. My children actually enjoy going to the dentist. Through the years there have been several quips with insurance and reimbursement accounts but they have patiently worked with us through all of them. I have and will continue to recommend this practice to others.

My 4-year-old daughter had to be put down for surgery, and she couldnt eat the night before. We arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled procedure (as was instructed) and it took them 2 hours for them to get to us. It was 9AM in the morning. They are disorganized and unprofessional. Look for a different dentist if you care about the welfare of your child.

highly recommend this place if youre looking for a pediatric dentist .very friendly staff and friendly and knowledgeable doctors. They take the time to go over all your questions or concerns you may have. I would not trust any other dentist for my daughter.

So far I love this place! Its kid friendly! And everyone is really nice. This was my daughters first time at the dentist and she left very happy!! I think she liked the fact that she got a balloon after she was done with the visit!

My daughter needed sedation dentistry and this was one of the few offices that provided sedation on children. Cant recommend though as the Dr was so rude and had zero bedside manner.
