Shannon Vet Services can be described in one word...AWESOME! I took my baby there for the first time last year when he was having some issues. He ended up having to have surgery and Dr. Shannon is AMAZING. During his recovery, there were some times we thought he might not pull through. Dr. Shannon called me herself twice a day - once in the morning and once at night when she went personally to check on him. He ended up staying a few extra days so I was getting concerned about my bill, etc. Dr. Shannon told me to not worry about it...she just wanted to make sure he was ready before he went home. She cares about the animals not the money. It felt so good to leave my baby with someone who I knew cared so much! We drive from Commerce and I will never go to another vet...even the techs remember you by name...feels like your leaving your pet with family!

No question that they are the best vet in the country. I have been a client of Shannon Vet Services for several years. They are clean, professional, caring, and work for whats best for the animal and its family. They are truly interested in the patient first, and not how much money they can make off of a client. They have helped us in life threatening situations, accidents, emergencies, routine check ups and difficult decisions to have pets put to sleep. They are genuine at all times and have shown amazing love, care and support. I will never go to another vet. Ever. The relationship I have forged with them has been a blessing. Cant imagine doing this without them.

Chosing Shannon Vet Services was the best decision for my pet! The support staff is so helpful, caring and patient every time I call or visit. The doctors are amazing. I was very impressed with the time spent with us, their genuine concern and conservative approach to the care of my dog. They didnt try to force unnecessary testing, meds, and costs upon us. I know a lot of other patients of the practice and ALL have told me nothing but good things about the care of their pets and how they dont empty your bank account! Shannon Vet Services is all about whats best for the pets and they are very affordable!

Dr.Martha Shannon...the TRUE meaning of a Veterinarian! !! I have been taking my children there for over 6 years, I drive over 100 miles round trip... she and the staff she has put together are phenomenal! !! My OSHs were loved and cared for as if they were thier own!!! Esockeo & Armani both spent the last of thier time here on earth under Dr.Shannons care and just yesterday July 7th 2013 I had to have Armani sent to a better place, Dr.Shannon was crying along with me :( PLEASE when you need the correct and best care...ask for Dr.Shannon shes a love !!!

I love this vet. They were very thorough and I could feel the concern and affection for my dog. They gave me a prescription to fill at publix, where it would be free. I had to call a few days later with a question about my dogs medication and I actually got to speak with the vet I met with and she remembered her! I will never go back to that "other vet " in Jefferson. And by the way, my dog is better now. This was not some vet who was trying to nickle and dime me to death. I love this vet!

I couldnt even say enough good in this short little paragraph. I love the fact that they CARE. It isnt all about the money. When we had to help our Dalmatian cross the rainbow bridge, Dr. Shannon sat right on the floor with us and then buried her on their property. When our little Rat Terrier was viciously attacked by our neighbors dog, Dr. Wylie (?) performed emergency surgery on her and had her ready to go home in several hours and the costs was minimal. I wouldnt consider taking my dog family anywhere else.

The service I receive at Shannon Vet Services is by far the best care my pets have ever received. The front desk staff is wonderful and the vets are some of the best I have ever been to. We have been through many serious medical conditions over the years and each time my pet has gotten the best care possible. The vets are knowledgeable and I trust them completely. I wont go anywhere else. Quality, compassionate care at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them !

The team at Shannon Veterinary Services is absolutely the best. The compassion and professionalism the entire staff have shown me when I have had to make the hard decisions to put my very aged kitties to sleep was comforting. It helped me through it and I know they cared for my kitties as much as I did. I have since brought a new kitty into my life and I wont take her any where else. I would drive across the state if I had too. This place is AWESOME!

My pets always receive loving care here. They are amazing and I would not take my pets anywhere else. When it was time to let our 17 year old dog Bandit go Dr. Shannon cried right along with us. And was right there with us again when it was our cat Chelseas time. Its not just a business they are there because they truly care about their patients. I highly recommend them!

This practice shows such compassion and respect for folks faced with euthanizing a longtime companion animal -- from admin to techs to Doctors. Our family had to make some dificult decisions regarding a beloved dog of 12 years, recently. Dr. Nilsen was by our side with timely test results, options, possible outcomes, genuine concern and, hugs! We wont go anywhere else.

Beautiful place. You can tell alot of thought and love went into this place. The customer service is absolutely awesome and Dr. Shannon takes her time with you and listens. You dont feel rushed or dismissed. Another thing I really liked is shes NOT a MedVet where you leave with a bunch of new shots and prescriptions for stuff you didnt even go in for. 10 stars.

Got a certificate to get a stray cat neutered here. Was told $10 then it came to $37 cause they said she was in heat and for her hospital stay for the night. They were the ones who said originally she would be picked up the next day. So I didnt call time off work for the same day. They tried to argue they said this but they did.

Highly recommend, Dr. Shannon is the best vet Ive ever encountered. Shes helped save the life of one of my pets and repaired a torn knee on another, he walks perfectly , you wouldnt even know hes had surgery. All of my pets will be going to her and any pet I may get in the future. I would give her more stars if it allowed!

Amazing! We live 30 minutes away with several vets around us but we drive just to see Shannons. Always nice, friendly, and the cheapest we have ever found. Whens the last time a vet told you that you can buy shots from a feed n seed store and do them yourself a lot cheaper? They are absolutely great people.
